PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Anyone interested in some primarily gaming related plushes? I'm getting rid of a lot of items that I mainly acquired at PAX, the NYC Nintendo Store or online. Here is a pic and list:
0402161230a.jpg

  • Plastic Super Meat Boy (he's beneath the Companion Cube which I'm keeping)
  • Poseable Rasputin from Psychonauts
  • Portal Turret plush that makes sounds
  • Talking BayMax
  • Scrooge plush (behind Mario, Baby Luigi and Link)
  • Mario plush
  • Baby Luigi plush
  • Toon Link plush
  • Kirby plush
  • Shy Guy plush
  • Goomba plush
  • Dancing Groot which plays the song from the movie
  • Plush Volus from Mass Effect
  • Fabrications Rocket Raccoon
  • The Maw and Splosion Man plushes
  • Alien dude from Peggle (I think) and zombie and walnut from Plants vs Zombies plushes [I think I have a matching Walnut beanie]
  • Pink Knight from Castle Crashers [I have a Behemoth stress ballchicken too along with knight figures in cases from CC]
  • Sackboy plush [I'll probably sell it with the LBP bookgame ends that came in the LBP2 Limited Edition]
  • Wolverine plush [from Dave & Busters]
  • Star Wars X-Wing plush [I think this came in an ArcadeBlock box so that might be sold with whatever else came in it]
I was thinking of bundling some things like all the Nintendo items, or the PopCap items, or Twisted Pixel stuff.

PM me with whatever item(s) you're interested in. I'm thinking at least a 33% discount off retail or more depending on what it is. Honestly, for veteran CAGs I'm willing to give a good discount (50%+) if it goes to a good home lol. Mainly wanted to give you all first dibs before seeing if other CAGs are interested or putting them on eBay to recoup whatever I can.

I'm taking pics of gaming/nerd related subscription items too from various ArcadeBlock, LootCrate, NerdBlock, Collector Corps, Smuggler's Bounty, etc. that I tried. Once I get that organized I'm throwing those on eBay too. Moving makes you realize how much stuff you acquire and I'm trying to get rid of a lot of stuff and minimize purchases.

Actually my guess is that fingerprint security isn't as secure as you might think and this way culprit is locked out after a restart. Don't know, though.

I've played every complete Telltale game since TWD s1 and this is by far the least satisfying. First four episodes were nothing but a bullshit constant beatdown. The game being glitched for one of the major decisions in episode three was infuriating. Episode five was satisfying overall. Episode six just left me feeling incredibly cheated.

I don't think the Telltale approach works well with GoT. Even in TWD I don't feel like every decision is a bad one, but that was how GoT felt. There's so little sense of being in control that it feels like there's no point in even trying. For a show or movie that's okay (if you like the dark content) but for a game it doesn't work well. Most of the time I had to push myself to keep going. Overall I'm kind of wishing I hadn't started it at all even though the playable characters were all likable. Such a shame.

Attack the Block is such a fun movie. Didn't realize that the man kid in it was the same guy from star wars even though I'd seen Attack the Block multiple times before Star Wars came out lol.
I just watched an episode of Legends of Tomorrow and remembered the guy who plays Jax is also in Attack the Block. I really gotta rewatch it soon.

Love that freaking movie! I remember reading about him getting a lead role in Star Wars and getting excited. I should watch it again soon. munkyflix movie night!

Considering the source material, 'constant beatdown' and 'so little sense of being in control' makes it sound as though Telltale hit the mark.

For the most part it does feel like they did, yeah. The writing definitely has a couple of issues but the GoT feel is definitely there. Just be aware if you play it that it really does give the sense that you're absolutely powerless. If that's okay then have at it.

It was bugging me like crazy who the woman is in it. I had to look her up and realize she's the mom from Broadchurch.

That show needs to come back.

Also Hateful Eight got me through a good chunk of my flight today.  Thanks, munkyflix!  It was better than I thought it would be.

Anyone who aint played this yet and likes GoT or the books, dont listen to a word he says.

Watched all of the show and read the book series twice, I loved it.

I guess this cover is a year or two old, but I had never heard it before they performed it live on Conan last week.

dammit, I knew Project X Zone 2 was dirt cheap on Amazon this morning when I saw the Street Fighter thread but was long dead by the time I woke up.  Some guy bragging he bought 6 and would post a pic.  I said, "I'd like to buy one from you, wipe my ass with it, and send it back.  Be sure to post a pic of that!"  Not that I'd really do it but that would certainly be one way to get back at El Hoardo.  And also because it's fun to stir the pot sometimes.

Uncharted plat get.

Really enjoyed the game. Even having to do the two playthroughs since I cheated on crushing and used the infinite ammo and one kill tweaks. The speed run trophies were all really easy. All the collectibles I used a video guide, it was the one in the trophy guide from pst.org, good guide that doesnt spoil much gameplay or story.

Had completely forgot the story since I played the original many years ago, its not bad, but could be better. Ending is kinda meh.

Onward to UC2

My Galaxy S6 updated the other and I just restarted it, apparently since the update you cant use your fingerprint to unlock the screen after restarting. So it wants my PIN, which I guess I don't remember what it is. So I'm locked out. Finally figured out who to unlock it online, but not before being locked out for 30 minutes.

fucking ridiculous. All because it won't prompt me to use my fingerprint for proof. fuck me.
They are just copying Apple. The iPhone does the same thing.

You could put things like this in Lastpass as a note BTW.

Yeah me either. I loved Disturbed but gave up them a while ago. Didn't even know they got back together. I listened to maybe half the album they put out at the end of 2015. Wasn't that impressed with the other songs. A few were ok but nothing special.

I had a free song credit on Google Play that I had to use by 3/31 so I picked up "The Sound of Silence" with it.

Yeah when I watched Broadchurch I recognized her. Still need to watch the 2nd season.

Lots of new trophy lists, lots of plats

Stikbold (that weird dodgeball game) got a Plat, unusual for a Curve published game.

Dead Star has a plat

Enter the Gungeon has a plat

Previously only on Xbox One and PC, adventure game Blues and Bullets has a plat (I think only episode 1 has been released tho)

Apparently Jetpack Joyride is coming to PS4. Love that game will definitely play it again. Alas, no plat for Jetpack.
