I had one customer complain that the discs kept falling out of his PC's CD drive. He had the computer upside down and was trying to balance it on the little hooks at the top of the drive. He could get it in place but when he tried shutting the drive the disc would fall.

So yeah--somebody saying their phone is faster than another home device calls for asking a question that shouldn't be necessary (but often is.)

True, but having known Zimm for a while and knowing he's at least moderately tech savvy, it was clear to me what he was talking about.

 
The 10 hours of play trophies and the one for winning 50 matches are making me a bit leery. Most of the trophies sound pretty simple, though. Maybe the requirement to kill 100 enemies with each ship type could be a pain.

DS4 compatibility for remote play is interesting. When did they add DS4 drivers? Last I knew you had to use a wrapper for 360/XB1 drivers.

If they're finally adding DS4 drivers, this'll make playing through my steam backlog easier too. Not that I'd actually get around to it lol.

Watch they'll be built into the RP software and Windows won't see the controller otherwise. :wall:

I just ended up buying a XB1 controller for my PC a while back. Works great. Not quite as nice as a DS4 but I've no complaints.

I've got a cheap wired 360 controller I used to use, but it got packed away in storage at my parents house. I haven't bothered to go looking for it. This would make it a little easier for me to start working on some of the controller games. If not, oh well I guess.

 
Looks like I will be playing Zombi on easy and just get as many trophies as I can.  Apparently its more hack and slash than shooter and the controls arent that great.  But I will run through it since free is for me!

Yeah the game was awful when I played it a couple of months ago but for free you might as well try it.

Yeah, looks like these launch party titles are pre-order discounts only. Should have kept them through the first week since I'm sure a lot of people want to wait for a review or two to pop-up (or at least that there aren't a bunch of technical issues which are common at launch). I suspect Salt and Sanctuary and Gungeon would have had a decent amount of additional sales if the discount was still active when all these good reviews started coming out.

Yeah defintiely looked like it worked. Added the demo to my cart then went back and showed both the PS3 and PS4 versions as free, so checked out with them as well.

If you fund a game at this point you deserve to get ripped off. If the game concept is really good why wouldnt a real investor put up the money? Instead they get stupid nerds to waste their money to fund shitty games.

Yes, a lot of that is exaggerated.

We need someone to confirm Amplitude isn't just the demo when downloaded too.  Didn't Tempo pull some shenanigans where it looked like it was still?

I'm sure its not. If you did it right you should now own every Amplitude file that is on PSN.

With Tembo it was just being added to the store and I think the demo was just mislabled or something, and the game file wasn't available yet so it looked like we "owned" the full game. Unless they removed and re-added files for the Amplitude PS3 release, we should be good to go.

Pretty sure the issue with Tembo was that it didn't say Demo even though that's what it was. IIRC, anyway. Sound familiar to anybody else?

 
Some new Pinball Arcade tables got added to the store. I don't know if they're supposed to be cool or not (but one of them is Judge Dredd.. cheesy Stallone dialogue maybe?)

Not that I would know but tembo didn't make the full game page say "free". It didn't have a seperate name/image on downloading than the main game. Amplitude has the full game showing free and available for download.

I used to play the No Fear one all the time in high school and I remember it being fun. No idea if it holds up, but there should be plenty of cheesy 90s Xtreme sports lingo/catch phrases to keep one entertained.

 
So the Steam drama got even more stupid somehow, I guess the newbie who accused the vetaran of scamming him accidentally posted the RE4 code he was trading somewhere else and it was redeemed before the veteran could get it. Here's the full quote:

Forget it. I just posted that RE4 code inadvertently online  and you apparently didn't redeem it yet since they did so I apologize for accusing you of so.
 
Obviously, don't send me the South Park code since the RE4 code isn't valid anymore. I will get a mod that remove that negative feedback. All I can say is that you need to do a better job with communication bro. That was a terrible experience. It's not fair to give you a red but a neutral feedback is more than fair. I'm done with CAG in general  when it comes to trading.
