If gleam solver is illegal, then only criminals will get free crappy games. Or something like that.

I've always thought the forced social media shit was retarded. I'd be surprised if it worked in the devs favor. All it does it annoy people

Finished Hyper Light Drifter, only took me 7 hours and I took some time to explore and find some secrets too. There's a ng+ option too. It's a cool game, I backed it on ks a couple years ago for $20. It's like Titan Souls+Fez+Bastion rolled into one. Probably isn't worth $20 but still good, get it when its half off or something. Disasterpiece does the soundtrack and they are great.

Let me guess, you logged in and checked out with the vpn on and didn't use Blue Coins.

We should stop talking about Putingate here because people screw it up and make it super obvious what they are doing and it just makes Ashot clamp down more and go looking for it.

At this point I've pretty much put them in the too much of a PITA to buy from anymore like Nuuvem and they'd have to have an amazing deal and not some NakedSolidFakeEyesBro crappie to get me to even try.
Ha, yep!

I look forward to getting this from a humble monthly

I kind of hate the Humble monthly lately. Besides being a more expensive option because no tiers, the Poopees surprise shit keeps messing me up.

I skip them because I already have the flagship game like Ark or South Park or Mad Max but then the have other shit in them I want when revealed.

Of course, I can't buy it at that point. Then the foreigners steal all the copies from Tremor for way too many coins in the middle of the night and I don't have the time or patience to do all the Spoder wheeling and dealing shenanigans.

So I just end up without those games waiting for them to get rebundled again I guess. I'm sorry I'm just not willing to blind order something for $12 when I already have the highlight of the bundle.

u can sell those Flagship games since u don't want them. I am sure there are ppl who want to buy the likes of ARK from you. Better than dealing with tremor

That's why I just subscribe and eat the loss on what I have. I can always sell it or trade it or something I guess.

I pretend i'm going to sell my monthly dupes, but then I just put them in the spreadsheet with the 1058 other keys I currently am too lazy to do anything with.

so far i've only bought if i want the revealed game, but i might start buying regardless and selling the dupes. this past bundle i didn't buy because i had south park, but if i would've bought and sold it in the cesspool for 4 or 5 bucks the rest of the games wouldve been worth the price

That's probably what I would do. I can try to justify it that I can sell the dups but if I stop bullshitting myself I know I probably won't.

Won Tropico 5 on Steamgifts just now, so that leaves Victor Vran. I guess all those 99 coin game sacrifices to Steamgifts paid off. 1595 coins for Victor Vran on Tremor seems a bit much though.

That is how I have been doing it too, the only monthly I have subbed for was to get ark. I was able to sell off the other stuff I didn't want and essentially get it for about $4. The games I want but am too lazy to wheel and deal for I usually forget about a few days after they're revealed and in all likely hood they'll have been bundled again by the time I think of playing them anyway so ah well.

Still kinda surprised that nuclear throne went for so much in the cesspool, it sold for more than Wasteland 2 and South Park/This War of Mine did. Then gungeon came out for like $2 more a couple days later so I am glad I didn't waste my time dealing for nuclear throne.

It is likely that when a game gets bundled in the monthly, it is likely to show up in a regular bundle later on. This is what happened to Grav, which is now in a bta tier. It is also relatively cheap on Tremor and still in stock too.

If I like guns, but not rogue likes, will I like it? The only rogue like I do sort of like was The Pit cuz I played it for play fire credit.
The guns in Gungeon are very fun to use and there are A TON of them. You can even sell guns you don't like, buy guns, order guns, sacrifice two guns to the gun smasher thing to create a new gun, and sacrifice guns to gain some life back. I'm sure there's more but I've only played the game for around 2 hours so far.

I'd say if you liked The Binding of Isaac, Rogue Legacy, Nuclear Throne and Bullet Hell toughness types then you'd enjoy Gungeon. The Pit was turn-based and therefore more strategic and slower paced, Gungeon is fast paced and action heavy. It also can be pretty difficult and challenging at times, especially in the beginning until you get a good feel for the controls and are comfortable with the dodge roll.

I'm thinking you might not like this one given your exposure to rogue types (like or lite).

Enter the Gungeon is fun as heck. It is the game I wanted Nuclear Throne to be, which I liked as well, but it got repetitive quickly with a lack of firearms IMHO though the characters were awesome. This game is challenging though. Just like any bullet hell game you see the patterns and after a while someone like the gattling boss maybe get a hit off at most. I know I beat at least up to tier 2 bosses with the basic gun before based on the RNG i got, so it's a lot about your skills. Honestly I'm growing quite fond of it.

I'm also reading/playing Tokyo Babel, which after a solid start it kind of boring me a bit. I'm more of a Princess Evangile type visual novel guy, and this feels very Shounen full of tropes and a big information dump. It also has OP characters and Amnesiac characters and a main guy with very little personality (when the heck did this become so popular like the brother in Mahouka). This isn't the type of visual novel I usually play. Heck in a weird way I was very hooked into Euphoria, the visual novel, enough so that I was actively disgusted by the game sometimes, which I can't say anything for this so far. I'm really not feeling this devil/angel pilgrimage OMG OP powers WTF story yet though. I'm going to keep slogging on, but I'm not hooked yet.

Visual Novels: If you're not disgusted by them, they're doing it wrong.

Guys. Question.

I see some people on my activity feed are buying Endless Legend/Dungeon of the Endless stuff. This is another case where you can "fill in the gaps" of DLC you don't already own due to Steam's dynamic pricing system. It's the Amplitude Endless Bundle I'm looking at.

I have 6/11 pieces of the bundle. If I buy the cheapest 3 DLCs I'm missing, it might work out cheaper overall to buy the "remaining" bundle.

I think. This is making my head hurt.

No wait. It probably won't. This is confusing. Somebody cleverer than me explain it please.

Try to add the bundle to your cart and see if the price remains afterall. In my case and some others, price went up when I proceeded to checkout.

That Amplitude bundle is hosed. It showed $1.61 on the page but then was 6 something when I went to the cart because Steam has alzheimer's and forget I owned Endless Space Emperor Edition when I got to the cart or something.

Doesn't seem as stellar as getting Borderlands TPS for $4 but I'll have to add it up and see but it says it saves me $4.54 by buying the seven I don't have that way.  Surprised I don't have Endless Space yet but I'm not sure if the DLC plus that is worth $13.59 for two huge strategy games I'll likely never get to give enough time to.

Steam Store version of Endless Space Emperor Edition has extra DLC compared to CD-key version. That's why it gets added.

They are aware of it.

I have the same problem. 7 something in the store, and 12 something in the cart.

I think the bundle discount is fixed at 25% off and buying items outside the bundle would reduce the starting cost of the bundle, but the bundle discount percentage would remain the same. You'd lose the 25% discount on items purchased outside the bundle so it would end up costing you more. If I understand how steam bundle discounts work. I could be completely wrong.

That's correct.

The pack doesn't include the newest Endless Legend DLC, so I guess I'll wait a bit more.
imo It's better this way. You get older stuff cheaper this way. Since you pay only for missing stuff, you can wait them to add new DLC and after that buy just new DLC with 25% extra discount.

Which part is causing the $5 change? I'm pretty sure I bought everything through steam too,
Endless Space Emperor Edition.

If you have Raptr installed, check your computer. I installed it as part of the new AMD video drivers, but I uninstalled it yesterday after cleaning up the system... and today I found out that it downloaded and installed another program called Plays.TV without asking me if I wanted it. It started up today when Windows booted up, it wasn't installed yesterday.

Reddit says the client is installed if you use the express option when installing new drivers, but it hadn't started up at all until this morning. So what the crap, AMD? This isn't Windows 10, shoo.

This has been going on for awhile now... Just another sign that Raptr's best days are behind them.

I just spent way too much time looking at that Amplitude Pack. I've decided that I don't want an extra copy of Endless Space Emperor Edition and it doesn't include the Endless Legend Shifters DLC anyway, so... no. :shame:

I sent a trouble ticket in. I know I probably won't hear back before the sale is done though.

Per the Endless Space discussion thingie on Steam, they're aware and working on it.  Says that the sale is through the 14th so I assume they'll get it fixed before that.  Or not.

if all I own is endless space is the bundle worth it?  looks like the the other endless games dont go on sale very often and I always miss out on those win game store deals for some reason.

I recently updated my AMD Raptr app and it explicitly asked if you wanted Playstv installed. But it does it in a sneaky way so you probably just missed it.
