PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Replace the radio then. Cheaper option. I'm sure you could get something at BB for not a whole lot. FM transmitters are the worst.
Do they make radios that will fit where he has an 8 track player currently? Note that I'm also assuming he's driving a 1979 Buick Regal.

Limited Run Games is releasing several eastasiasoft games:

Instruction manuals included, too:

Each game will ship with a full-color instruction booklet (just like the good ol’ days!) and physical disc or PS Vita cartridge.

I know there are some Yeti fans in here.  Saw on slickdeals, Walmart had some clones for under $10.  Supposedly, people that own both say they could have come off the same line that's how similar they are.  Probably not, true, but bought one anyway.  Could only find the 30oz tumbler in my area.

Here are the item numbers for brickseek for those interested:

12 oz koozie - 49772713

30 oz tumbler - 49772708

20 oz tumbler - 49772705

Not a single one anywhere near me. Bummer.

Knocked out the first of 32? stories in Stories: Path of Destinies. Took 1h09m. I enjoyed it. The gameplay is fairly simple but there's more to unlock still. So far it's very easy but fun. Pretty game and the first story was straightforward but enjoyable. There's a brief framerate stutter sometimes but no technical issues otherwise. It's got a constant narrator so if you dislike that you'll want to pass, but the voicework is fine, I think.

I'm already at 11 of 38 trophies and sitting at 18%. I'll get another trophy as soon as I start the next story and get to a blacksmith (I've got the material to craft my first sword.) After that it looks like the trophies will slow down substantially but the trophy list looks pretty easy from what I'm seeing so far.

No mention of whether the new Soldner-X2 trophy list has a plat. The original didn't despite having 25 trophies. Kind of silly. I asked about it so maybe they'll respond.
They mention "platinum trophy support" for the other two games, so I kind of doubt the new Soldner-X2 list would have one.

Thermopyle

Will the new Soldner-X2 trophy list have a plat?

eastasiasoft -> Thermopyle
We will confirm this later, at the moment only a new trophy set is confirmed.

iamDTS -> Thermopyle
Unless they add way more trophies, then probably not.

eastasiasoft -> iamDTS
We can upgrade some trophy values. The main question at the moment is whether we will combine game + DLC into one new package or have 2 packages on the cart. This is our first retail release, so we are still looking into it. Hopefully we will have an update soon.
So that's a bit hopeful.

So Stories is basically done in a CYA format. You get a little intro bit in order to give you some background on the main character and show you how the game mechanics work and then the game presents you with a choice on what you'd like to do next. There's an additional set of 2-3 choices as you progress and each decision has a big impact on how things play out. When you finish the game the first time and get the option to continue it takes you back to that first choice and let's you go again from there, with the option you chose last time marked IIRC. I'm hoping that if an entire branch of options is exhausted it will indicate this in some way in order to help people navigate the choices that are left. We'll see. My first and second runs went very differently, story-wise, so the CYA aspect isn't just a slight cosmetic difference.

For gameplay...imagine Bastion with (basically) only one weapon but featuring combos and counters and grabs and stuff. Most enemies are standard melee, with some adding  a shield (which there are a few ways to deal with) and there are some bomb type enemies and also mages for ranged attacks. You definitely need to use your hook shot to pull enemies to you or dash in order to handle the crowds without getting clobbered a bit by the various enemy types. It's not as developed as the Batman or SoM combat system but it is more complex than I recall Bastion being. I'm only two runs in but the second added more enemy variety and a noticeable amount of difficulty so hopefully the fighting system will develop further.

So far I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

I read that first paragraph wondering what the hell you meant by a Cover Your Ass format before I understood.

Do you guys use any paid streaming services? I'm currently using Google Play but considering a switch if there are better options.
I pay for Spotify and like it a lot, but I do get a discount through Sprint. My only complaints are that a) when playing an album it slides the artwork off screen and then back on from the other side as if you were shuffle playing random songs from random albums. Minor nit, but I do find it mildly annoying. And b) while you can make a virtual library, I wish I could select an artist from the library and then see all their albums. Instead you get all their songs from all their albums. In order to browse their albums you have to go to albums, which lists all the albums in your library, sorted by artist. Once your library is pretty big this isn't as convenient as it could be. To clarify - when you are browsing artists NOT in your library, it does have a list of all their albums.

Damn. Looks like the upcoming Eisenhorn: XENOS game is going to be crap. Sucks since it's the first 3rd-person WH40K adventure game since Space Marine that I'm aware of--it's even voiced by Mark Strong like Space Marine was, too. I haven't read much of the WH40K universe but the Eisenhorn trilogy was good.

Got the Battleborn Beta downloading now. I have downloaded the new Fallout 4 DLC but doubt I will get to it soon. The settlement UI / building is so bad in that game.

Awesome start for the Braves. Their shiny new CF pulls a hammy 3 games in, goes on the disabled list. The only relief pitcher that has been reliable this season fractures his elbow while throwing a pitch 5 games in. One of their top prospects gets called up to fill in in CF, doesn't even get a full game in because he slashed his eye open with his own helmet while trying to steal second base. 0-6 start. Yay.

Lots of love!

I do not want anybody to be injured, but if the Braves are so far out of it by August that I get to only hear about college football on the local sports radio stations I will be happy.

Played a bit more AC: China last night. Not sure why it didn't click at all on the first attempt but on the second I was enjoying it. I think I'll grab the Vita trilogy once there's a decent price on it. The graphics are clearly downgraded on the Vita, though, which is a surprise considering the fairly basic graphics on the PS4 version.
