SO MUCH HYPE
It's too bad it would be so much work to port 999 to a Sony console as it would be nice the have all 3 volumes together, with added flow chart and trophies.

My dad has a yellow Dodge Challenger, I think '70 or '71.  He ordered it brand new after he got his swank IBM job out of college and he keeps it running well to this day.  First car I ever drove because it was the only automatic in the family at the time.  The thing is fucking badass.

Didn't they port just the story stuff without the puzzles to apple devices? I'd settle for just that. I haven't played/read/watched 999 before.

My Dad had a 1970s Orange Dodge Charger. Dukes of Hazzard. Minus the Flag. Also no t-tops. It was only the 318 V8 but still pretty nice. It rusted out and he got rid of it shortly before I started driving. Actually I think there was some over lap but I never got to drive it.

'68-'72 are the years when American cars were fucking awesome. I was mainly a Chevy guy, but there were a lot of bad ass Dodge ones too. The Challenger was one of my favorites. I never really was a fan of the Mustangs except for the Shelby versions. I guess since so many chicks drove old Mustangs when I was in high school.

I think I have told this before, but I had a '68 Chevelle with a 307 and a '68 Nova with a 283 that was bored out and built for racing. I think it was essentially a 302 due to the modifications. God I loved those cars.

My dad had a 1968 307 Chevelle when he was in the Marines. Drove it from VA to NY a bunch when he was dating my mom. He piled up a ton of miles so only had it for a couple year. He was clocked at 120 racing some guy in a Buick Electra on one of those trips. Cops caught up to them later when they were at a dinner or something.

Yeah, kid I bought it from kind of beat the shit out of it, then I smashed it into the back of a Jeep Cherokee. It didn't last long, though I'm not really sure it was all the car's fault.
My great uncle had one and hated it. To be fair he was going through a bankruptcy and was used to Lincolns. And he was a large man.

My aunt had one and loved it but I didn't care for it.

My first car was a 10 year old 86 smurf blue Chevy Cavalier.  Yeah, I was pimpin.  Kind of like today.

My father had a '67 Chevelle SS with a 396 and the added on tachometer package. That car would be worth a good amount of money now. I did not like them as much because it was the older boxey style of cars, but I would still love to have it.

When him and mom got married he ordered a '69 VW Bug for the better gas mileage. He sold the Chevelle to my asshole cousin who proceeded to wrap it around a tree. Dad drove that bug until the mid 90s and just recently sold it to someone. There had probably been 100 or more people who would just stop in our driveway to ask him to buy that car. It took him until now to finally cave. It was meant for me, but I had told him a while back I just had nowhere to keep a project car and if I did, even though that Bug had sentimental value, it would not be my choice.

My wifes father had a mid to late 60s Vette (want to say 67) when he was dating my MIL. He got married and sold it and bought at a Vega since he was a family man with kids. He talked about that almost up till he died. I sold a Vette to buy a a Chevy Vega. fuck

I'm liking Stories quite a bit. Tyler seems to as well based on his comments last night while streaming.

How did you like the controls in RoR? I didn't care for them on PC and have been hoping the console version would be an improvement. Were you playing that on PS4 or Vita?
I was playing Risk of Rain on PS4. Controls took me a minute to get used to but they were fine overall. I'm sure you know already, but I guess each character (I only have the one that is unlocked from the start) has 4 abilities that are tied to a cool down. Those are mapped to the 4 shoulder buttons. The one ability that seems to be your normal gun shot (with next to no cool down) is R2, which feels natural enough.

Game seems like a lot of fun, though runs can probably take a long time (and like Gungeon you have to do it in one shot versus saving and coming back). I ended up kind of letting myself die in the second world because I had to go eat. I had it on the easiest difficulty (which you don't seem to be punished for since, at a glance, none of the trophies or unlockable criteria take difficulty into account) and kept finding all kinds of power ups. It's cool how fast your character goes from weak to having all kinds of useful perks. Look forward to sinking more time into it.

Mines was a burgundy red ford escort. Early 90s model I think. It had the seatbelt  where the shoulder part was on a track in the door so when you turned it on or off it moved on the track to either go across your shoulder or away to let you out. You just had a manual waistbelt that you had to do yourself.

It was a POS.

I had, until right now, blissfully forgotten about those awful automatic seat belts, you jerk!

This brings up bad memories of car cassette adapters for iPods. At least it wasn't an FM transmitter!!!
Yeah I had one of these for my Creative Zen Nomad mp3 player. Adapter worked like shit but I loved that mp3 player. Looking back it was a piece of crap but damn did I used to use it all the time.

Hahah Creative, wtf ever happened to them.
No clue. It was clearly inferior to ipods but they were cheaper and you didn't have to use iTunes so I really liked it.

I recall they did actually make some fancier mp3 players cuz my friend got a cool one, but I'm sure they went out of business at some point.

I had the same Ford Escort with the auto belts but grey/silver. Squeezed and stalled all the time so I called it Porky.

Then moved up to a brown POS Nissan Stanza for college times.

This sounds like such a weird thing to do, but it happened all the time with my dad when I was a kid too. He had a 50's dodge pickup truck for a long time that people would always ask about.

My dad would get people asking about his 70s Charger even though it was a rust bucket (rear quarters mostly). Not a ton of people but did get offers for a long while. I can't recall who he sold it to when he finally bought a new car though. It was having some mechanical issue (not the block) but lots of things were always going bad. Got tired of spending half his weekend fixing it.

My brother seems to uncovered a sketchy thing about tax returns this year that you may need to be aware of. The filing date is 4/18/16, but you must pay any amount owed by 4/15/16, or you'll be fined and owe interest. WTF? How does this make any sense?

Answers to Your General Filing Questions

What is the due date of my federal tax return and am I eligible to request an extension?

Your tax return is considered to be timely if filed by 4/18/16.

Filing Information

As a calendar year filer, your regular filing due date is generally April 15, 2016.

When the due date (including extended due dates) falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, a return filed on the next business day is considered timely.

The due date is April 18, instead of April 15, because of the Emancipation Day holiday in the District of Columbia — even if you do not live in the District of Columbia. If you live in Maine or Massachusetts, you have until April 19, 2016. That is because of the Patriots’ Day holiday in those states.

Payment Information

You must pay any amount due by the regular filing due date to avoid the imposition of interest and the penalty for paying late.

The 15th is always tax day. If your an adult you should get shit done before the very last day anyway. You only had 4 months to figure it out. #nosympathy

EDIT Come on Chewy. So this 18th thing is just for special cases and isnt being broadcast as some official thing. Tax Day is still the 15th in the feds eyes. That all any sane person should be paying attention too.

Not sure why it isn't the 15th this year.  Usually they push it out till Monday if the 15th falls on the weekend.  But it is a Friday this year.

Might cost my parents this year.  They were away and sent their tax info to the woman that they have used for years.  She is retiring but still working for another year or two.  Anyway she got sick or something and they had to find someone else.  They usually get back but the new guy says they owe.  They are coming home today and meeting with the guy tomorrow or Friday.  Hopefully something got lost between the original woman and this guy.  If not they owe.  Guess they will still get the payment in on time if they are lucky.

It doesn't affect us this year as we got a tiny bit back from state and federal (which was a hugely welcome surprise as we were expecting to owe big).

Got my trade in confirmation for $25.80 on Far Cry Primal, just came in an email today and now I can view it on my trade in list. Pretty cool. Game itself should also be arriving today.

It is even more strange when your closest neighbor is about a mile away and it is your grandfather's house.
