That was on FX. AMC has The Walking Dead, Hell on Wheels, Into the Badland, Better Call Saul, and soon to have Preacher.

Anyhow, The People vs OJ Simpson was phenomenal. Highly worth watching even though there is no surprise ending.

Quick question:

Finally have a quality rig and want to grab Crysis 3 to see it in full 1440p 144fps glory but I don't want to buy anything from Origin. Where else might I look for a good price on it?

Gamesplanet (FR) is currently the best price. Beyond that, it hasn't been on a real sale since last summer when GMG had it for $6 (less whatever coupon they might have had).

Thanks for the response. I'm assuming Gamesplanet is a reputable site? I used to get a lot of stuff from Gamersgate and Greenmanimg but I've never used Gamersplanet. Looks like they have good prices.

I think they're semi-shady as in they take advantage of regional pricing, etc but you're not giving your credit card to the Russian Mafia and the key they sell you will work.

just install origin and be done with it. grab their latest freebie (need for speed?) while you are there.

Id wait for the next origin bundle and then get it then, along with some dead space and mass effect games. If you want to spend money id probably look to see what the metro games are going for, they go on sale quite often, especially if your willing to world travel.

I actually have quite a few Origin games already thanks to their "summer sale" fiasco a few years ago where a bunch of games were free--I think I got all the Mass Effect and Dead Space titles. Anyway, it just seems like their sales suck so I generally don't buy directly from them. I'll check out their freebies though. Thanks for the heads up.

Chronos: Awesomenauts (incl. Starstorm Expansion and Costume Party 2 DLC Bundle)

$8.50
That was fun during bro night. Would probably pick up the expansion DLC if it was ever super cheap.

Last night we played Binary Domain, which I had fun sniping Bah and hearing him cry like a baby, but the other guys weren't into it as much. We then spent 30 minutes trying to pick a game out instead of just going to the website Malkan posted where you can compare games with friends. Then we chose Worms Armageddon but god that looked like it was made in the 90s! (Because it was). So we switched to Worms Ultimate Mayhem and had some fun even if we spent like an hour on a match only to be told noone wins at the end.

Last night I discovered that the $12 Semi-generic mic/earpiece I bought seven years ago no longer worked.  I sat in the Binary Domain lobby trying to communicate for a bit (and hearing you guys acknowledge my attempts to join/rejoin) and then gave up since I didn't know how to get into your game and couldn't ask for an invite over chat.  No big deal, I was having a hell of a night anyway so it was probably better to just call it off but that's my exciting tale and why I ditched you guys.

I suppose if anyone has a recommendation on a cheapish mic, I'm game.  I need a single ear piece though like Julie the Time-Life Operator since my wife would throw things at me if I was wearing some noise-canceling gaming headset.

u couldve joined without a mic like ybx, and roll around everywhere annoyingly.

This one is $3.99 or something after rebate:

Use promo code: EMCETFT29

Someone mentioned they used it for PC.

So does Chrono guy relax his throat for every frontpage "deal", or did he only have to do so once?

Cuz I would love to get my tentacle incest transgender omnigender trap futa beast slave rape RPGmaker VN advertised on the frontpage on its release.

where can I help fund this game?
There will be a g-rated version on steam for $40 msrp, cuz vn's are worth that for some reason.

It'll basically be a raunchier version of my little pony, except with mushroom stamps in place of cutie marks.

And tentacles are overfilled eclairs.

The x-rated content will be supplied by a free unofficial patch with every $50 donation.

I thought front page content was partially based on your "habits?"

We could have people complaining about someone complaining that there is no one complaining about people complaining.

Completely on topic with being off topic: A friend of mine launched his first kickstarter today for his tabletop card game that I have helped along with the development over the last couple of years. Take a peak and let me know what you guys think. Battle Goats. In a nutshell, it's a small and quickly played game with a light ruleset.

I wish CAG had a board / Tabletop game forum.

Looks neat. My wife and I like 2 player card games we can play in short spurts so I will strongly consider going in on the $15 tier. Would that include shipping or is the shipping separate?

Also, I always thought the puppy in your avatar was smoking a joint. But now I see I was wrong.

Shipping is $3.

The puppy is holding a hypodermic needle. My pot smoking years were 20 years ago. Sadly.

An open back headset would probably work for you. You still get stereo sound but they don't block a ton of outside noise so your wife can still yell at you.

I use a HyperX Cloud headset and can still hear my wife talking to me when I need to. This particular one is probably out of your price range, but I imagine you can find cheaper decent open-back ones.

Edit: (Actually, my HyperX Clouds might be considered closed back, so maybe don't look at those. Although they don't fully drown out outside sounds.)

Open headsets are rare as hell, if any exist. An option would be a pair of open headphones and a cheap standalone mic.

You used to be able to route a mic to your headset. I used to do that in my MMO days. I'd have headphones on as usual, but hear my surroundings through my mic.

Looks alright though I don't do Kickstarter anymore. One thing I noticed is I assume that you choose all your cards and place them in a 3x3 in the beginning? (Edit: I saw you get 9 random cards) I did see all the abilities and stuff too. I thought this was going to be like a Hera and Zeus type game or even a Nature of the Beast 3x3 area control game. I do like the art, though I'm not sure I like the choose a card and then choose any other card on the opponent's side and they clash...guess it plays a bit like memory then? (Edit: I see you strategically place them kind of like stratego or such...still not a fan of i choose your random square....I don't like that battle part that much). I guess I just like it more when you build up your field as mentioned in the 2 games I referred to, which I enjoy both of them. I am picky about video and board games in general, heck half of my posts on here are my thoughts on games I'm playing and it's usually dang i'm bored or this is terrible or average or such. I do wish the best for your friend and I likely will watch the Kickstarter video (just read the page) at a later time.

The best result is when everybody loses ala TF2!

People in the Quantum Break thread are saying they got a second Windows 10 code after the previously had already got a different one before.

The video has a pretty good and brief explanation that helps makes more sense of it. It also has his girlfriend who has a nice rack.

Soooooooo the Sega Genesis games on Steam are getting a free upgrade in a week.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=68&v=nAzzoU0fIxU

http://www.sega.co.uk/news/sega-mega-drive-classics-hub

We're getting a more accurate emulator (allegedly), and a 3D frontend that simulates a kid's room. And we'll be able to load Steam Workshop mods for most of the games. (Apparently the Sonic and Toe Jam & Earl games are not moddable. Guessing Sega of Japan and whoever owns the Toe Jam & Earl games doesn't want them modded legally. I dunno.
