so if I could just get 2 or 3 more decisive victories I can quit dead star.  all that I'd have left after that is grindy trophies and a contract that'll probably never drop and I can happily leave those until some other lifetime.

Ok fair enough, but there was quite a bit that happened and DIDNT happen.

The didnt is almost more important than the did, especially from a book and show sense as most book readers were thinking something big would happen but it didnt, at least not yet.

Not sure if that is an actual spoiler but dont wanna get people pissy on a monday.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting a ton of movement in the Game of Thrones premiere and I got pretty much what I was expecting. Really excited to see where it's all headed now that they're fully off-book. When the books finally are released I expect it will all play out pretty differently but reach similar end points.

E.g., I don't know what the fuck is going on with the Dorne storyline. Seems to be a totally different trajectory from where the 5th book ended. 

 
I'd be shocked to see BL3 before 2019. Unless they had some people working on it while they were doing Battleborn, it's going to be a long way off. They said theyre not going to start development until after all the Battleborn DLC is finished.

Yeah and unfortunately with Battleborn being a MOBA they're likely to drag their feet on it for a long time unless it fails quickly.

Yea in the book Doran martel is still alive and so is myrcella although she is on the way back from dorne in the book so could still end up dead before getting back to kings landing. The whole martel family and dorne is much more fleshed out in the book, show completely skipped the whole bit about the kid martel (forget his name) going to find daenarys to try and marry her and then getting burned alive by her dragons.

They also cut out all of young griff it looks like since they went and gave grayscale to jorah mormont instead of introducing jon connington and griff (aka aegon targaryan) who at the end of the books has just landed in westeros, took over some area and raised the targaryan banners.

So yea I think the books and show will wind up being vastly different in how they get to most likely a similar end

Its the one a lot of people are saying will wind up like evolve, IE dead after a couple of months

Overwatch and it are similar I think and people think overwatch is going to be better longterm cause blizzard.

But who knows, gamers are kinda fickle with stuff like that.

Yeah, the Martell's kind of got shafted in the show in terms of screen time/fleshing out but I guess it had to happen to someone with the huge cast of characters.

The fact that the show hasn't introduced the other Targaryan leads me to believe that he is not actually who he thinks he is. Or he ends up dying some point soon in the book so that his presence is not actually important.

I think most BL2 fans don't care at all about Battleborn. Maybe a small percentage will pick it up but just seemed boring as shit when I played the first beta/alpha. Enough so I didn't even play the last beta.

Maybe not fair but it seems like they are type cast. People are expecting Borderlands and will not be happy with Battleborn since it isn't Borderlands. I think a small group of people wished Destiny was more like Borderlands and were disappointed (their own fault for not paying attention to what the game was about).

I can't see me playing Overwatch either but out of the two I think Overwatch will do better.

Mild, you would love going for this Class Master trophy in 2013: infected Wars--it'll take me 2 hours of grinding endless enemies in a single section of one level just to get that one trophy, I can't turn the Vita off at any point, and there's no way to know how close I am to getting it.

 
Finished the Old Iron King DLC, the level design was better in the Sunken King DLC, though the bosses were better in Iron King. Except one of the bosses was a glorified palette swap of another boss which was disappointing.

Getting to the Blue Raspberry Smelter Demon in the Iron Passage was more difficult than actually fighting him.

Personally, I thought Ivory King had the best level design except for the Frozen Outskirts, which may rank up there with the worst.

Some rumors for May GWG say dead Rising 3. One of my other few physical games.

Not sure what people want. I have played probably 90% of the AAA type games I wanted to play on PS4. And picked up the few exclusives I wanted to play on XBox One.

People just like to bitch.

Too bad I don't know ANYONE was a PS4 that doesn't have PS+. I would just give them my copy if this is true.

Hopefully we get both versions of at least Tetris Ultimate as that would be better played on the Vita, especially since the PS4 version appears to have performance issues that the later released vita version does not.

Count me in the bought Watch Dogs cheap a month or so ago and still haven't unwrapped it. I'm sure trade value is crap now too. Oh well.

That's Gamestop, and it only works if you have a coupon and the games have a $2.50-or-higher trade-in value, so Watch Dogs wouldn't qualify.

The return periods for Best Buy are 15/30/45 days for Standard/Elite/Elite Plus members.

Yes. Supposedly the game has to be worth at least $2.50. I traded Ryse which was $2.40 base and Tearaway Unfolded yesterday. Still got the $10 bump. Rang up as $5 bump per game.

I even said to the girl if it doesn't give me the $10 bump I would just trade Tearaway. She said it should be fine.

So YMMV.

I put a 2TB drive in my PS4. Already installed. Whenever we get through the MP trophies I might try for the plat and then will delete it off my drive.

Yep, eventually I figured out the formula of flame quartz ring+3 and flash sweat for fire protection from the flame salamander traps, and giant ring+1 for extra poise to let me tank salamander fireball splash damage without flinching.

Ivory King DLC is next so we'll see.
