PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

lol nintendo

I saw some headline about Reggie and some other Japanese dude getting new titles or reorged or something too. They're just thrashing to stay afloat at this point.

In conclustion, lol nintendo.
I cant like this enough.

Is Nintendo making any money with the Wii U? If not and the NX bombs like it might may we finally see Nintendo give it up and just publish games? They could concentrate on their game properties and release them for every console or sell it to the highest bidder and make a killing. I would actually play a new Mario game in PS5.

As a reader, should I get the reference in this sentence?

In 2011 they released a pretty good Blob game on PlayStation 3 and a year later released a great Blob game for PlayStation Vita.

Maybe give the actual names of the games?

In 2011 they released the pretty good Tales from Space: About A Blob on PlayStation 3 and a year later released the great Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack for PlayStation Vita.

Granted I dont pay a great bit of attention to most indie stuff, but others might not get what you are talking about either.

Other than that, great review.

I don't think you emphasized the dumbest part enough. If anyone actually cares about Zelda, they'll get the NX version. So the only game they're showing is a version that no one will ever play. I mean, did anyone play the gamecube version of twilight princess?
However the GameCube version is mostly accepted as the preferred version of Twilight Princess now (except for maybe the new HD version) because the world isn't mirrored to make Link right handed and because the terrible waggle controls haven't been shoe-horned in like they are on the Wii version.

Having played both, the Gamecube version actually was better.

This is also true. "Everyone come check out the inferior version of our new game!" Also sucks for WiiU Zelda fans, who won't end up getting a single WiiU-exclusive Zelda for the console. Pretty sure every Nintendo console has had at least one Zelda exclusive to it before now.
But but but Hyrule Warriors!!!!!!

(I miss playing Zelda games)

Yeah I did it intentionally to cut down on the wordiness of the intro. Thanks for the feedback.

I think it's a safe be that the NX version won't have shoehorned in waggle. But probably will have shoehorned in mandatory touch controls or whateverfuck other gimmick they've come up with now.

I don't get Nintendo's adamant insistence that it not do anything for E3. I understand when they don't have a whole lot going on, but they're bringing out an entirely new console in the next year? Maybe showcasing it in a Nintendo Direct (which will be primarily watched only by people who would buy it regardless) is a waste of time. Maybe try generating some buzz or something? I dunno.

I do not understand how they continue to function as a company.

I pretty much only own my Wii U for zelda games, and I can't even figure out if I'm disappointed. I just don't care anymore, second time in a row I've just given up on a nintendo console. I'm done till there's an actual reason for me to think they could turn it around.

I played one level of Alienation quick last night.  It's pretty fun, but jesus rollerblading christ with all the reloading.  A horde of aliens show up and I can only seem to get off like 8 shots before having to go through a long reload.  Shouldn't these twin stickers just let me fire unlimited like?  Maybe I'm still thinking I have Ikari Warriors or Smash TV on my hands.

I understand doing the direct instead of having a big old conference, but not doing anything on the show floor is dumb. At least have a real booth.

You suck. Git gud.

They still have a presence at E3. The only thing they don't normally do is a press conference, but the Direct mostly fills in for that.

This year is bizarre though. I almost feel like a delay from March 2017 to the second half of the year is likely for the NX, so they can use E3 to help build the hype before release. Also because everything gets delayed in gaming anymore.

Oh, they have their reasons.

Seriously though, is there some trick to that, or just wait for better weapons/upgrades?
ammo management is just a thing. if you get stuck needing to reload but you're buried swap to your secondary/tertiary to clear out some breathing room and then swap back to your primary to reload manually.

Wait I can swap weapons? I would just try to melee while I was reloading. And then use whatever ability I unlocked once I leveled up once.

Full Disclosure: I may only have been half awake while playing the one level I did play.

Go back to rubber banding your controller in rocket league, amateur!

Is there seriously no way to delete multiple game saves at one time on PS4?  I thought we could do that on PS3 but this is ridiculously slow on PS4.  I need to clean up both the online and hard drive storage and have a shit ton to clear out.  There has to be a better way.

And again, why the fuck are these games not sorted or sortable in any sort of way? Games just seem to be in random order.  fuck.

I got slapped on Ghost of Sparta. And by slapped I mean I already got the better version with trophies ages ago. Lame! Boo! Worst month ever!

Holy fucking scraping the very bottom of the barrel batman! Two ancient games without trophies? C'mon.

I didn't know what to vote in the poll I put up last month, but after seeing this month's PS3 lineup, I'm ready to sacrifice both of them for one more PS4 game.

Switch Galaxy Ultra is ok. It's not that good of a game, but at least it's crossbuy.

I'm pretty happy with the PS4 games.  Already finished with the Vita games (well the PS3 GoW remaster at least).  And who cares about the PS3 games.

I didn't know they reuse locations between the Dark Souls games.
They don't typically, other than in the Dark Souls 1 DLC you time travel so you revisit one of the same areas 400 or so years in the past so it is less decrepit and paths that were not accessible before now are. Dark Souls 2 is set an indeterminate amount of time after Dark Souls 1 (thousands or possibly ten's of thousands of years) and may or may not be built upon the land that was once Lordran (the kingdom from the first game), but none of the landmarks are the same in Dark Souls 2.

Switch Galaxy Ultra looks like the only immediately interesting game from this lineup. Is that Locoroco game new or does it just not have trophies?

EDIT: Answered by Tyler. Yuck (the no trophies part, not the answered-by-Tyler part).

All this time I thought Tropico 5 was an adventure game.  I did not realize it was a god mode style game.  Populous was probably the last one of those I played.  Yes, I am old.
