Image was definitely fanart. I only realized it was probably big hero 6, because of the guy, and the phone case. It was a little clearer once Therm posted that pic of the girl though, the pic of her in the phone doesn't really look like her, but the one you can barely see under the text is a little closer to her movie look. 

 
The reason I asked about Overwatch is that looks like I'm getting a copy. A good friend of mine called me this morning telling me not to pre-order it because he's getting 2 PS4 copies from a friend that works at Blizzard.

Just seeing if others were picking it up.

I will have to check it out. The have Tivo Minis for $149 that you can use to watch TV on another TV. It will pull a tuner out of the 4. Or you can watch a pre recorded program.

When you factor in the cost for a DVR, a basic cable box and multi room DVR service you can easily break even in 2 years or so I think.

I can see us getting one and moving one of the older Premiers into the basement even if we don't get a mini or two at first.

I would rather have the not good, but AAA game Watchdogs than a stupid god simulator.  I know I can buy Watchdogs for cheap but I wasnt going to check it out unless it was free.

I like Table Top Racing though.   The Vita game was fun and a port of a phone game so I am excited to see what they can do with a real console release. 

And I hope the rest of the list gets you assholes on board with dropping vita/ps 3 games in favor of another PS4 game!  That I probably wont play...

In better news we just booked 2 ski houses in Lake Tahoe for Super Bowl 51 weekend through the next week next year for a bachelor party.  HYYPPPEEE!!!!!

 
I think it was psnation that posted a poll the other day asking if people would be interested in a cheaper PS+ sub tier that just included online/cloud saves and no free games. Obviously no basis in reality but an interesting idea.

This is probably the weirdest PS+ month ever. I don't know if it's just because of the leak but every game on the May list seems totally weird. I'm pro-tropico though, I like those world building games. It's also a major and decently known series even if it isn't AAA.
 
Aw, I missed the "are trophies stupid or not" argument. I guess I'll have to wait until it comes up again in another 2 weeks.

I'd think it would be nice for you to do the occasional no trophy game. You can just play it until you've had your fill and move on instead of forcing yourself to grind 1000 more kills/find every collectible/replay 2 more times on higher difficulties.

A) Dreamals is sweet

B) There's a superior version of that God of War game available. Only people with no ability to play it should bother with the PSP version anyway.

C) Even the biggest trophy guy here plays Pikmin.

Aw dang. Must have removed it right after I posted. Basics of it was a girl, senior in college, had been working on a developmental thesis for about a year. Like a hundred pages or something. Her shitty boyfriend thought she was spending way too much time doing her school work instead of him. 5 days before the thing was due, he deleted it from her computer and dropbox. She asked reddit what she should do, I probably would have already killed him and they would have had to use the post against me in court. Thankfully she had some copies on backup flash drives, but he would have been dead either way if it were me.

Seriously? I only saw the movie once in the theater with my daughter. I wouldn't recognize any of the characters outside of their super suits.

Assumed the movie wasn't that popular, especially to be used as an image macro.

No matter how unpopular something is there's a small group of weirdos scattered across the internet that thinks it's the best thing ever.

 
Hyperdevotion Noire is getting a little dull.

So far each chapter is the same.

1. Meet generals who are a pastiche of a popular video game or anime series.

2. fight them in battle at the end of the chapter.

3. Add them to your party and then never use them because the previous characters are already stronger.

I'll maybe force myself to play one or two more chapters and then start that FFX remake.

 
Loaded up Bully and my eyes started to bleed when I saw the opening cut scene.  Its awful.  And the game itself isnt much better.  Somehow I thought the game would be cleaned up like Vice City was but I guess not since it was never released later on PC?

Playing it mostly on pc remote play which aint bad, but playing it on a 50 inch tv is awful, its blurry as fuck in the distance, the area around you is fairly clear though.

Controls are kinda wonky too, modern controls you use the right stick more when moving to turn and stuff, but on there its all mostly left stick. Looking around while moving does not work at all, have to stop to look around.

Even with that, liking the game so far, never played it before.

My niece stayed over Sunday night till Monday afternoon. I downloaded it and she played it for a while. She said I can't believe we used to play video games that looked like this. She is only 20. She did play it Monday when I was at work though. She also played PacMan and DigDug.

I guess we have to becareful when buying games now. If this what I can expect from other PS2 games that are running on PS4 I am going to pass.

Do the PS2 Star War games look this bad?

Bully is absolutely on PC. The problem is that none of these PS4 versions use the updates that came from PC or iOS or any other platform; it's just an emulated version of the PS2 edition.
