yeah, even their wording is pretty vague and present tense in the faq so it's easy to change later.  I'm sure they will post it up on psn - which is good, I'm certainly not condoning the dumb practice and more people being able to play it is awesome.  I'd just like to see a developer for once say something is exclusive and then have it actually be exclusive forever.

Farsight (the Pinball Arcade folks) are doing another Kickstarter, this time for their new Stern Pinball Arcade.  Trying to raise funds to include the AC/DC table at launch.

Indiebox game for May is gonna be announced for May. Rumor is Dust: An Elysian Tale, but also could be Mark of the Ninja or Shadow Warrior. I'd be down with any of those 3.

this is dope as hell but the lack of vita support, while not surprising in the least, did severely diminish my pinball wood.

I just may have to too. I hope this means they're going to try to bring the Metallica table too. I've never played it but hear it's pretty bitchin. I can also confirm that the Ghostbusters table is also bitchin.

 
Guys on the radio were saying the new trailer for the new Ghostbusters already has nearly 1 million thumbs down votes on Youtube.  Is it that bad?  Or is this more hating on women?

Yeah I saw a news article about this the other day. I don't really get it either.

The trailer isn't good by any means, but it's not the worst trailer of all time. I guess it's the perfect storm of bad looking movie, people with nostalgia not liking it, and then the hating on women thing.

It's not terrible but it's super derivative. Rather than feeling like a new movie it looks more like an updated recast of the original. There's nothing about the trailer that looks new. The trailer had one funny scene+line, but that's it.

Not sure where the 1m thumbs down comes from. The Sony upload of the trailer is at 629k.

I'm guessing the Metallica license will be similarly expensive, so they'll probably have to do a kickstarter for that. It's a fun game for sure, although not as good as AC/DC in terms of integration of the theme.

 
I didn't think much of the new Ghostbusters trailer. It just wasn't funny. BUT, I recently watched part of the original Ghostbusters and was underwhelmed by it too. It just wasn't as funny as I remembered. We didn't finish it and my kids never asked to see the rest of it. I'm going with #overratednostalgiaflick.

Looks like that refurbed PS 3D monitor I got last year shit the bed last night as it's doing the blue->green->blinking red.  I did take out a two year warranty on it in case it happened.  It's too bad these things had a higher failure rate than the fat Xbox 360s as the picture on it was great.  I'll play around with it a little tonight to see if I can fix it but by most accounts the EEPROM chip corrupted and needs to be replaced on the memory board.

Does anybody still use a 360 here? I'm just curious about something. Was this thing always this ungodly slow, or did MS slow it down in an attempt to get us to upgrade? I don't just mean download speeds, which are abysmal, but the UI is insanely slow. I don't remember it being that slow in the past.

Yeah I tried watching it one day recently too and got bored pretty damn fast. This is what I was talking about with old movies and games. Yeah there are some that stand the test of time, but most just dont. Even the classics like Ghostbusters.

When I used mine last month for a couple arcade games it seemed fairly quick.
