I thought this movie was hilarious... until they got to boot camp and then somehow it got horribly unfunny in comparison to the first part which is odd.

 
Also, to get back to Alien (no "s"). I rewatched that some number of years ago and I agree that it's not that great. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it even has a cat jumping scare like out of a slasher flick.

No issues here. Starting it up and logging in maybe takes less than a minute. No UI problems.

I tried a couple of times to get the wife to watch The Man Who Knew Too Little. That's about 20 years now and also isn't as good as I recall. I'm not sure if the degradation is due to age or from me having already watched it too many times.  :whistle2:k

I just now put it together from a youtube comment that the music in the dance scene is the same tune they used for the main theme of Tetris. I've rewatched the movie a few times on cable over the years and it is a perfectly enjoyable silly movie.

Only a couple instances of socially maladjusted nerds who wouldn't just take their pictures and leave. Cute as fuck on Saturday when we ran into an 8 yr old bowser and got to take a group shot with him. Also my dude proposed on sunday, so I guess I'm one step closer to beating up a teen outside of JC Pennys for reality TV.

My kid was enthralled by the movies playing on the projector screen at the Ghostbusters pinball party. We watched them both together previously, but as soon as we got home he wanted to watch the first one again. It might have just been because we met one of them. Obviously some of the effects are dated and not that good, but it absolutely holds up today, even for kids.

Managed to play a few minutes of Overwatch even though the beta doesn't go live until 4 PM. I guess I have to wait a little bit longer.

 
Ghostbusters definitely holds up still today, in my opinion. I plan on seeing the new one as well this summer. I mean, it doesn't look that great, but not that bad either. It definitely has the potential to be terrible, but who the fuck knows. It just seems to be the popular thing to hate on it. It won't ruin my life if it's bad even if the original was my absolute favorite movie as a kid.

Awesome. And if you don't like the next one, you can just swap it out for the fugees record. Or just use the $10 we should end up getting to buy the fugees. We know as of now that the next record will be a non-american/australian/European indie band that is different in some way from the weezer album...

Yeah the 360 boots up slow as fuck.

I found when I got banned from Xbox Live that it loaded up 10x faster. So it must have to do with how much bullshit MS loads in. Go offline or just unplug it for a minute and see if that speeds up your booting time. (Not that it's a good solution, but if it's like mine you'll be shocked how much quicker it is)

Itll be a non-american, non-european, non-Australian indie band...the non American clue is probably non-USA, so definitely could be a Canadian indie band, or something exotic...if you have money to burn on exclusive vinyl, I can send you a link. The Leicester City story is pretty amazing, even for non-soccer fans. 14th place last season. Not even in the Premier League two years ago. 5000-1 odds at the beginning of the season.

And to top it all off, Kilik's Chelsea got to be relevant for at least 1 game this season!
