PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Ghostbusters is still great to me, don't understand the disdain. The new one will never be watched by me.

I'm kind of scared to watch Stripes again.
I thought this movie was hilarious... until they got to boot camp and then somehow it got horribly unfunny in comparison to the first part which is odd.

Also, to get back to Alien (no "s"). I rewatched that some number of years ago and I agree that it's not that great. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it even has a cat jumping scare like out of a slasher flick.

Does anybody still use a 360 here? I'm just curious about something. Was this thing always this ungodly slow, or did MS slow it down in an attempt to get us to upgrade? I don't just mean download speeds, which are abysmal, but the UI is insanely slow. I don't remember it being that slow in the past.

In short. fuck Microsoft.
When I used mine last month for a couple arcade games it seemed fairly quick.
Just logging in takes forever. Not on yours?
No issues here. Starting it up and logging in maybe takes less than a minute. No UI problems.

Can't be as slow as the PS3. Holy shit it's so slow.

I tried a couple of times to get the wife to watch The Man Who Knew Too Little. That's about 20 years now and also isn't as good as I recall. I'm not sure if the degradation is due to age or from me having already watched it too many times.  :whistle2:k

I just now put it together from a youtube comment that the music in the dance scene is the same tune they used for the main theme of Tetris. I've rewatched the movie a few times on cable over the years and it is a perfectly enjoyable silly movie.

Comic Con was awesome. We went as the Planeteers Friday, Mario Sports Saturday, and Pokemon Trainers on Sunday. Only a couple instances of socially maladjusted nerds who wouldn't just take their pictures and leave. Cute as fuck on Saturday when we ran into an 8 yr old bowser and got to take a group shot with him. Also my dude proposed on sunday, so I guess I'm one step closer to beating up a teen outside of JC Pennys for reality TV.
congrats

Definitely if you've eating some brownies.

I didn't think much of the new Ghostbusters trailer. It just wasn't funny. BUT, I recently watched part of the original Ghostbusters and was underwhelmed by it too. It just wasn't as funny as I remembered. We didn't finish it and my kids never asked to see the rest of it. I'm going with #overratednostalgiaflick.
My kid was enthralled by the movies playing on the projector screen at the Ghostbusters pinball party. We watched them both together previously, but as soon as we got home he wanted to watch the first one again. It might have just been because we met one of them. Obviously some of the effects are dated and not that good, but it absolutely holds up today, even for kids.

I'll send you something later. You can just sign up for the 1 month and get weezer, and can enter their store for that month and buy fugees from the archive.
Signed up for this with your email link btw, thanks! Ended up grabbing 3 months, the weezer album should be cool at least.

Who wouldn't want an unlicensed nuclear accelerator strapped to his back?

One of the categories at trivia tonight is gonna be all about Kentucky.  Which one of you Wildcat assholes wants to come with and be part of team Squirrel Necklace?

I think my favorite sub-plot of this young baseball season is how every time the St. Louis Cardinals lose, Deadspin writes a super short article, with a small amount of game highlights and stats, telling us that they lost. Then post it on Facebook saying "The Cardinals lost their Nth game." fucking love it.

#fuckTheCardinals

#AndTheCubs
So close to a like, but you had to fuck it up there at the end, didn't you?

Sounds awesome, can you play over video chat?

Hope you can remember at least a couple of questions and post them for me to answer tomorrow.

Managed to play a few minutes of Overwatch even though the beta doesn't go live until 4 PM. I guess I have to wait a little bit longer.

Ghostbusters definitely holds up still today, in my opinion. I plan on seeing the new one as well this summer. I mean, it doesn't look that great, but not that bad either. It definitely has the potential to be terrible, but who the fuck knows. It just seems to be the popular thing to hate on it. It won't ruin my life if it's bad even if the original was my absolute favorite movie as a kid.

Awesome. And if you don't like the next one, you can just swap it out for the fugees record. Or just use the $10 we should end up getting to buy the fugees. We know as of now that the next record will be a non-american/australian/European indie band that is different in some way from the weezer album...

Yeah the 360 boots up slow as fuck.

I found when I got banned from Xbox Live that it loaded up 10x faster. So it must have to do with how much bullshit MS loads in. Go offline or just unplug it for a minute and see if that speeds up your booting time. (Not that it's a good solution, but if it's like mine you'll be shocked how much quicker it is)

I BEAT SO MANY LEVELS ON STREAM AND YOU GUYS WERE JUST BEING JERKS!

This one was probably the toughest one I beat.

Where was your link again. You had me at Australian indie band.

Itll be a non-american, non-european, non-Australian indie band...the non American clue is probably non-USA, so definitely could be a Canadian indie band, or something exotic...if you have money to burn on exclusive vinyl, I can send you a link. Join soon to get weezer,or wait to see what the next month will be.

The Leicester City story is pretty amazing, even for non-soccer fans. 14th place last season. Not even in the Premier League two years ago. 5000-1 odds at the beginning of the season.

And to top it all off, Kilik's Chelsea got to be relevant for at least 1 game this season!
