I still had a decent time with table top racing and at $2 it was worth it. Free is a nice price to play this new one as well.

I am really jonesing for another burnout or need for speed though.

Not gonna lie, I'm tempted to get it for the freak factor of it, even though I like watermelon flavored things more than I like actual watermelon.

I played through the first set of track/objectives/wahtevers last night and had a decent amount of fun. Not gonna set the world on fire, but it's a decent enough way to kill some time. The car options are all pretty cool though.

I am saddened every time my youngest begs for that steaming pile of crap. I have fought the good fight so far by saying it is not on sale. I am hoping he forgets about it by the time it does.

 
Surfing around in the Inverted Access youtube analytics, noticed that we got 38 thumbs down on a single day, April 19th. That's like 60% of the total dislikes we've gotten over the past year.

Our first mass downvote! I'm a bit honored someone took the time to open up 38 of our videos just to downvote them!

Can't know 100% for sure, but it's 38 separate videos that got one downvote each. Before that day we'd had about 25 TOTAL downvotes over the previous year. So there's no way it wasn't just one person going through our video archive.

Uh, it's 100% competitive MP but there is no sort of Team Deathmatch mode since some classes are far better at killing than others. There's a player vs AI mode you might be interested in I guess, but I imagine it's the same as playing with people but far less fun. There are pretty much 4 modes in the beta at least. There's a king of the hill type mode where both teams try to capture the point and hold it longer than the other team. There's a standard attack/defend game mode where you have to capture/defend 2 points in succession. There's a mode for escorting a payload to the other side of the map and then there's a mode that combines the payload and capture points together. But yeah, 100% competitive MP. There are a shit ton of end game stats so it usually isn't the guy who kills the most players that becomes the MVP.

I was expecting an announcement of a new SW game today, but I'm a bit disappointed to see it coming from the Titanfall folks. That's not setting high expectations. Though I guess this is promising:

In June 2014, it was announced that Stig Asmussen from Sony Santa Monica and God of War fame had joined the studio as game director of a second project that had nothing to do with Titanfall. From job listing in January 2016, it was found that the project was to be a third person action-adventure game.

It seems like a lot of people are down on PS4.5 (NEO). Currently I'm kind of eh whatever I'll worry about it when it's a thing but...

Wasn't part of moving to an x86 architecture and off the shelf parts (which they did for Vita, not sure on PS4) so that we could basically just keep moving forward taking our digital libraries with us as we move from console to console like a PC? If that's the case for even PS5 and BEYOND! I wouldn't mind an upgrade releasing every 3 years or whatever. 

It seems like that's also what XBOX was stressing when they made BC a thing on the X1.
