really the end of the series and the game conclusion is very final.
I was honestly expecting A Thief's End to be a reference to his brother or Sully dying in the game.

I've not played past one yet and this thought prompted me to check--Sully is already dead. Whoops. If they really do wrap up everything in this one that actually makes me more excited to play it.

You realize I was referring to the content of a Polygon article, though, right? Usually anything they say is met with a certain degree of skepticism. I didn't think I'd need to specifically put an additional disclaimer on that. I'll edit the post anyways but it's just being silly.

I have no objections to anything you said, for the record. I've never played the series and don't really care. Just trying to figure out what the issue may have been.

I dont really care though.  I am not reading any reviews or anything about the game until I play it after Doom.  As long as you use spoiler tags in here I should be fine.

I really don't think anything I posted was a spoiler. I'm still not sure what Avenged was referring to so I just spoilered the majority of the post. =P~

 
Enter the Gungeon patch is live as of a couple days ago, and here's the patch notes:

Due to I guess some quirk in how these things are released on PSN, the dashboard will say the game is now version 1.0.3, but the actual patch version is 1.0.5. Also if you happened to get PSN patch 1.0.2, which was only up for half an hour, then you need to read the notes about this - there was a save problem with that patch and if you played with it, it will appear like your progress is lost, but in the 1.0.3/1.0.5 patch you'll find your save in slot D. Again that's only if you got and played the previous patch.

Still no NT patch.

 
Persona 5 will release on Sept 15th in Japan. Not sure about NA yet. There's a new trailer as well, though it's not English it does show gameplay. Poor quality so hopefully a better version is available soon.

Vertical drop shooter Downwell Drops is hitting PS4/PSV on 5/24. Crossbuy for $4.99. Great price. It's about a kid with gun boots dropping down into a deep well. Shooting slows down your drop.

It was ported by Red Phantom Games--they did the game Minutes, does anybody know how well that played?

Downwell is coming to PS4 and Vita on May 24th. This is a pretty cool, albeit simple, game that is hampered by touch-controls on my phone so I'm looking forward to the PSN version. $4.99

I regret clicking on the second spoiler in your original post because I haven't finished UC3 and didn't know the bit of information you dropped in there. The way your post was phrased, I thought you were posting review snippits from the ones you were talking about. I know the game is old, but still man. Don't just randomly throw things like that in the middle of your musings and thoughts without a full warning.

Yeah I regret that I spoiled myself on that actually. I had that bit of the post spoilered from the beginning since it was a legit spoiler on UC3. It probably would have been more clear that it was an actual spoiler if I hadn't gone back and edited the additional spoiler into the post.

Finally finished the story on Ratchet and Clank. Game was a lot of fun, that final boss battle was kind of annoying though. Still cannot get under 1:35 for that damn hoverboard race. Best times last night were around 1:39. Going through on challenge mode now, is the max multiplier 10? I kept getting hit by random shit at around 7, so I couldn't max it out this morning.

the final boss in your second playthrough will be cake if you go after the plat - the fully upgraded ryno melts his health away in two or three 5 second bursts.

there's no tricks to the hoverboard race - you just have to almost constantly be in a state of boosting to hit the time. find little things to help with that - like leave boxes you would normally pick up and the first ramp where you go through two hoops you can actually hit the third one on the right as you come down for some extra boost.

10x is the max multiplier. there's a trillion places where you can cheat it by blowing up most of a room full of baddies and then quitting to title/reloading (it keeps your multiplier) so don't sweat it too much.

I am 99% sure I have been to Bahama Breeze in Fort Myers. A step up from Chili's and TGI Fridays. A couple steps up actually. If it is the same place I would go there over the other two nation wide chains.

Thanks! I watched a video on the hoverboard race and it essentially told me to git good, so I kinda figured I'd just be stuck at that one for a while. I always end up fucking up and running out of boost for like 3 seconds at some point during the race, either that or run into 3 bomb boxes. Still haven't gotten a Ryno yet, I think I'm missing 2 or 3 cards for it, hopefully I pick that up sooner rather than later though.

I went to Chilis with my MIL and wife a month ago. Food was ok (super salty). I think the last time went was at my MIL request a couple years ago. I am good for another year at least.

I will have to ask my parents if Bahama Breeze was the place they took me the last time I visited them in Florida. It didn't even register with me it was a chain.
