I tried out Not Your Father's Root Beer and Coney Island Orange Cream Ale. Not bad. I was actually able to finish the drinks unlike beer. I've heard they actually mix well with vanilla ice cream. Tempted to try it.

The new Vita Lounge ezine is out. I usually don't read it but it does talk about Risk of Rain, UnEpic Vita (which Tyler totally failed us on), and XCOM: EU Vita, none of which we've had any real comments on in here. It also has a comment stating that Shu will be launching on PS+. Shu is a speedrun 2d platformer without combat, looks like. Not sure if he's really forecasting that months in advance or if he's just meaning there's going to be a PS+ discount.

The list seems to be pretty varied, which is nice. It's not just about collecting all the treasures and killing X people with every gun type.

Well yeah, it's free with preorders because it comes with all copies of the game (they mention it as being included on the box art). Probably just trying to trick some people into preordering by making them think they're getting something extra.

I still play the old ones online with zDoom. It ain't crowded by any means, but you can still have some good fun.

Obviously the single-player stands up as well.

I like the fact that there aren't really any weapon specific trophies to deal with. Going to do a Crushing run first and then probably a second playthrough on Easy for the treasures and any other misc. trophies.
