Well I played American McGee's Alice not that long ago. It wasn't completely terrible and these other games don't look near as dated as that. We'll see.

It looked and played like a game that was still VERY in development, like an actual test build or alpha, not the typical "demo" betas that are the norm. If the retail game is anything close to the beta, steer clear.
 
Do people typically get shipping notifications for items bought via these eBay store fronts?  Still haven't heard anything about my UC4/PS+ combo, even though it says delivery by Monday.  I know it's only Wednesday but I'm just paranoid and antsy.

 
Yeah, I've heard like universal disdain for the Homefront beta, but I have little interest in it as a MP game. I'm hopeful for a cool campaign, but even that seems unlikely from the couple of previews I read (that was awhile ago, though). My main reason for hoping it's good is that it's open-word-ish (I think) and set in Philadelphia, which I'm very familiar with.

There is no MP in Homefront. Don't know anything about the co-op, though. Also, I read that they didn't use any real names of places in Philadelphia so that might be disappointing for you.

But actually, when I've ordered stuff from buy.com on eBay I've gotten shipping notices, but they didn't come very fast. This is probably the same type of deal. You get a good price, but you don't get speedy shipping.

Ok that's what I figured. Gives me more time to finish UC3 at least.

Yeesh, that does look pretty rough. I guess I don't actually know anything about the game other than the setting. When I heard there was a beta I assumed it was for MP (since the first one actually had an okay, but generic, MP to it). I'll consider this one off of my radar, not that it was fully on there.
