PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I at least have summer hours to look forward to starting next week (get in at 8:30, leave at 4 instead of 5).
My summer hours thing is working 8-5:30, but then get rotating Friday full days and 1/2 days off, with some Friday's worked. Pretty decent deal. Doesn't start till Memorial Day weekend though.

It has to be something with your internet. Even as shitty as my internet speed is, it runs fine for me.
What service do you have? Provider and speed. I want to tell these verizon idiots that somebody with such-and-such service on some-provider has no playback issues. Also are you playing MLB.tv on PS4 or PS3 or what?

In Ratchet, when it says to explore a cave for secrets, what does that mean exactly? I searched and searched and I think I smashed every crate and I found a card pack or something, but still on the map it shows that I need to explore it.
didn't read the thread yet, but there's a wall you can bomb with the fusion bomb thingy. you might see the wall be a little glitchy if you swing the camera around (i.e. see through holes in the wall).

Wait you mean everyone didn't wear a hockey mask to work today? Shit my name is even Jason. Happy Friday the 13th!

I really liked that dumb Jason X movie.  Partly because the movie was entertaining, but more so because of that bodies hit the floor song.  It was perfect for that movie and pretty much any slasher flick too!

LOL

Box office
The film made $13,121,555 domestically, and earned $3,830,243 overseas for a worldwide gross of $16,951,798,[1] making it the third lowest-grossing film in the series.

Yeah. I just remember having to lead Bums around Paradise City in BP. Other times he is fine. Its got to be the type and amount that makes the difference.
I'm not great at all games so if I need some help I'll ask so I don't drive around clueless. At least I have a mic to use while playing online right?

Wren if you need the co-op trophy for Rocketbirds I'll run through it again to help you out.

Is there a way to figure out what IP address the MLB.tv app is connecting to? Then I could try running traceroute on it. Verizon is telling me to do that, but I'm doubtful that MLB.tv support is going to give me that info.

Thanks but dont worry about it. I wasnt planning on getting the plat anyway. Ill be busy with Doom and then Uncharted for the next month plus anyway.

Are you doing this from your computer or a mobile device? If the former, install Wireshark and start a capture before launching the app. After connecting, stop the capture and look at the packets. You will likely see a DNS query first for something mlb named. Look at what address (or likely addresses) that returns.

EDIT: You are one of those Applonians aren't you. I am not sure if there would be a standard version for Mac. You would likely have to compile it yourself since real tech types rarely use Apple products.

I work normal hours during the summer because I have a normal job that expects me to work 40 hours per week like a normal person.
We're still putting in what amounts to 40 hours a week. The hours are just rearranged so that some weeks you work 45 and some you work 35. It all works out to the same in the end.

No one really works anywhere near 35 or 40 hours a week anyway.  See: PSNOT.  Its just nicer to be able to be at home or somewhere else (the bar) other than your office for those other 10-15 hours a week!

MKX is a really fun and good looking game.  definitely worth picking it up if you can get it on the cheap if you even sort of like MK and/or fighting games.  the online is probably pretty rough if you're new at this point but there's sooo much single player content that you won't miss it if you decide to skip it completely.

Cool. I'll grab it. The price plus the other two games makes it reasonable and the trophy list looks way more doable than SFV. Dengeki Bunko sucked but SFV got me in a fighting game mood. I'll probably be tackling some of my backlogged fighters after I knock out MXK.

I am physically present for 40-45 hours a week like a good peon.

Uncharted 4 thoughts (spoilered for a reason, includes my thoughts about the story.

Beautiful Game, typical uncharted fare. I thought there was too much environmental traversal, i wish they would have cut out an hour of rock climbing and included an hour more of combat encounters. This definitely felt like the least shooty uncharted, I definitely got sick of climbing walls and walking through jungle.

Story started off good but ended up pretty blah. Definitely wanted to see more drama between Elena and Nate, that storyline totally fizzled. The Nate-Sam dynamic was good but not as good as the Nate-Sully dynamic from previous games. Definitely not enough Sully in 4.

And here's my full review, which has plot discussion of the first four chapters in it, marked near the end of the review.

Not any easy way. Depending on the router maybe they might have a list of active connections and you could maybe figure it out from there.

Not sure which router you have but if it is an Actiontech mi424 I can take a look tonight when I am home and see if they have a list of active connections or something. You would still have to figure out what IPs on that list are for MLB though.

Nicely written. Just as an FYI:

No nobody’s surprise, Uncharted 4 is loaded with set pieces, many featuring catastrophic events that only provide you a couple seconds to get Drake to safety. They’re generally pretty simple to complete, but sometimes you’ll be so caught up in the spectacular action on screen that you’ll fail to make the correct move in time. It’s no big deal, as the game quickly reloads you to a nearby checkpoint and you’ll get another chance.

We used to get out a few hours early ever other Friday during summer hours. You had to make the time up during the week though. And being in IT sometimes shit came up and you couldn't leave early anyway. Too many other departments would end up short handed on a Friday afternoon so they ended that years ago. Nice to get out early afternoon but I don't really miss either.

I have 3mb DSL from the local phone company.

I use it on my laptop, PS4, iPad, and phone.

Happy to hear that the platforming gets a nice showing in UC4. That's one of the parts I like quite a bit.

I'm pretty sure I've said it before, but man you're overly-sesquipedalian in your reviews. It's funny going from your forum posts to your IA posts and wondering how much time you spent searching for juuuust the right word to drop.

I believe it's an actiontech, but not 100% sure. It use to be one but when I upgraded service they sent me a new router. But I think it's still an actiontech.

I will take a look later tonight and see if they have a page that might be useful to you.
I cant imagine them having that on a webpage. I would assume you can not get to the shell to do a netstat command either.

Once again though, if it was a computer and not a tablet/phone that wont likely help. Might be a way to get to a shell on those to run it, but I definitely do not know how.
