PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Minnesota House of Representatives voted again to repeal the ban on Sunday liquor sales at liquor stores yesterday. And again it failed because they want "to protect the little businesses from the big box stores." Which is fucking bullshit because the little stores just don't wanna be open on Sundays. This fucking state.
Yeah, well at least on the push to get anything legal for purchase, the campaign manager didn't get a DUI a couple months before the whole initiative got shot down again.

jesus christ you guys said way too much and used way too big of words for me to follow right now. i still dont know what Therm was saying since that word was like 20 letters long and fuck googling that.

TLDR: Im tipsy and use regular person words Therm!

Congrats on living in a state that is officially worse than Georgia at something.

Thanks?

I take solace in the fact that I can at least get growler fills on a Sunday if I somehow run out over the weekend. I have a nice growler collection for just this occasion.

NJ I think still restricts alcohol sales on Sunday. I remember going down to the Jersey shore to hang out and be drunk all weekend. We ran out of beer at like 10am (Some of us were up all night drinking). Went to the local package store to buy more and were told we had to come back at noon. I wasn't 21 and they ID'ed there. So I brought someone who WAS 21 and had just got up. I ended up passing out for a couple hours since I couldn't drink anymore.

Never made that mistake again.

Tn cant buy liquor on sundays, can buy beer though, but I think not until after noon.

They recently passed law where grocery stores can sell wine, not sure if can buy that on sunday when that starts.

Sundays noon thing is a bitch if you forget to get beer saturday, 11am is football kickoff in Central time zone.

It is actually after 12:30 here. Gives the time for all the Christians to get home from church I guess before all the drunkards make the roads unsafe by going out to get more booze.

Until recently, it was 12:30 but you could only buy from bars or restaurants but not at a liquor store. I guess they finally realized that encouraged more drunk drivers on Sunday and finally changed it.

In response to Zimm, we can get growlers on Sunday too. Just not from breweries like you can. Just growler stores. In some areas you can now get it from brewpubs to go to (actually in my city you can). They still force the breweries to separate on and off premise licenses so I cant buy from the production brewery in the same city. Well, I can get some form of beer to go as a "souvenir" that comes along with a tour package you pay for. It also comes with "free" samples of beer too.

How about just let anyone buy anything whenever they want and tax it for revenue?

Yeah no beer or liquor or anything can be sold in any stores on Sundays. And gas stations and grocery/Target stores here only sell the severely reduced alcohol versions of regular beers and wine coolers the other six days. fucking heathens.

Well you can go to a bar or restaurant and order a beer, just can't buy anything in stores to take home. Only take home booze you can buy on Sundays is beer filled growlers from tap rooms.

We can't buy beer at gas stations, grocery stores or convenience stores at all. And mostly it's the case that we can't buy beer on Sundays, but there are exceptions I don't understand. There's a liquor store in an adjacent county that is open on Sundays. Maybe it's by county. But then within our county you can buy beer on sundays at package good stores. It's a mess, but in short, make sure you buy your beer here before Sunday

Edit: partially belt'd

Note to fellow baltimore-area people: the one that's open on Sundays that we go to is Jason's Wine & Spirits in Howard County. They have a good selection of beer available too. http://jasonswineandspirits.net

According to the wiki that lists all the states, it says that is only in Baltimore and Garrett Counties and even then only in some areas.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_laws_of_the_United_States
It is not completely illegal, but they restrict the number of 7 day liquor licenses so it is nearly impossible to sell on Sunday. The only places that can are some specific bars that have package goods provisions in their licenses (I think they were grandfathered in somehow). Now, I do live in Baltimore County.

Oh yea, tn does have one great alcohol law

Open container law only applies to drivers, not passengers.[112]
If I was a resident I would gladly give up that one (since I have never understood the desire to drink in a car even as a passenger) for all the other stupid ones that you have. I can never get used to the whole 2 separate doors to a liquor store with higher ABV beer on one side from the lower stuff.

Doom is immediately awesome. It's obviously really pretty with silky smooth gunplay, but they have a few clever systems in place to keep it really fast paced and awesome. Enemies glow orange after you soften them up with gunfire and can then be melee executed. Melee executed enemies always drop health (regular kills drop health, too, just not consistently). Enemies killed by your chainsaw (which has limited fuel) drop large amounts of ammo. So you never have to stop shooting to get health/ammo. Just kill in specific ways when you need to. So good.

Not the case where I live at least. The beer store is on one side and the liqour is on the other side. All the beer is on the beer side. It does have a door for each but once inside can go to either side and checkout on either side.

But maybe that is what you mean?

Da faq? You have separate entrances and walls to divide one type of booze from another? Ok that's fucked up. All our stuff is in one big open store like god intended.

Store I went to in Chattanooga had physical separation. They had the beers that were lower ABV in one half. All the higher stuff was with the booze in another "store" separated by a wall with another entrance. I assumed that was so that they could keep the one half open more or something. It was strange.

Huh. Might be a chattanooga ordinance or something. Stores here have all the beer together.

Ok yea, that makes sense, the beer side cant be open on sundays of place I go to, that might by why they had it like that.

Alcohol laws are dumb.

I'm pretty sure the big guy in the second image has testicles with eyeballs for a chin and flowers over his nipples. this game is weird.
I imagine those are supposed to be Suns given their King Gwyn is Lord of Sunlight. Those are eyeholes on the "testicles" as the tiny helmet is a facade, his head is actually lower in the armor. Given how large he is and his proclivity to gnaw on human bones, he is probably pretty deformed under that armor.

I tried paying my Frontier bill on their website right now and it took 5 minutes to login and when i did I see nothing.  Blank bills, no amount due.  I know it is due.  God they suck.
