I've been replaying Ultimate Doom with the Doomsday source port and it is still pretty awesome. I like the improved environment textures and lighting with the original sprites and widescreen support.

Looks better (game play wise) than Doom 3. Multiplayer is laughably bad and not paying $50 for ~10 hours of single player. Should be good a year or so from now for $10.

Eh. Board game kickstarters are a bit different than video game as there is still a cost associated with producing each unit over the original goal. They are still going to make a good bit of money, but not an extra 4 million or whatever it may be.
 
Some Korean chick from Australia almost won Europeanvision. Then the Russians and Ukrainians got a shitton more viewer points than everyone else. No they totally didn't cheat.

I actually do still have Heroquest and the Return of the Witch Lord and Kellar's Keep expansions. This was my favorite game growing up and my first real strategy game amongst all the monopoly and life trash all families have. Now I seemingly backlog board games at a faster rate than video games.

He ain't worried about Doom 2016 too much right now. Though, if Doom 2016 was 75% off - sure, he probably would buy it. :)

Doom 2016 MP Beta [with No NDA's] was decent - felt like a cross b/t Doom setting, COD MP level-progression, and Quake 3 Arena/Team Arena style of gameplay/combat. Though, while I liked the MP in Beta and thought it was decent - in typical modern-day FPS MP fashion, that Beta felt like it was lacking content (just like Overwatch's Open BVeta). Hopefully, the MP with the full version out has more content + can keep the MP going; and/or hopefully the Season Pass will flesh-out the MP to where it might be able to keep gamers playing.

Though, I'm more interested though in the SP campaign here for Doom 2016, which sounds like a throwback to classic Doom 1+2 gameplay with some new twists/tweaks in gameplay...and of course obviously some much-much better graphics-quality.

Doom seems to be headed down the discount path rather quickly. Hopefully the trend continues. Wouldn't mind picking it up from what I have seen.

Most likely if they keep pushing the multiplayer aspect. Best way to sell season passes is to lower the price of the base game.

I endorse such trend. I am not into FPS MP anyway and Doom single player is fantastic so, the faster the discount drop, the better for SP player like me

Walmart has 1TB WD Passports (for mac but can be formatted I believe) for $35, 3TB WD My Book for $54, 1TB WD Passport for Windows $55, and Seagate 3TB Expansions for $40

The other two didn't show up around me so not sure if I had the right item numbers.

3TB Seagate Expansion item number MAY be 21141715, 33347130, or 44379858 but it didn't show up for me on brickseek.

May pick up a couple of the 1TB Passports. Good price for a 1TB 2.5" drive.

Yea the Seagate isnt on their site since it's only sold by other vendors and not by Walmart anymore.

Gonna go back now and grab the Seagate since that price is a steal; but then again I already have 2x 1TB WD My Books and 2TB My Passport I dont use -.-

Sorry but I need my useless horded purchases digital, out of sight and out of mind. I can't stand seeing it or even knowing it's in some damned closet somewhere. Makes me feel like I need an intervention.

 
God I loved HeroQuest growing up. I have it and the keep exp as well but they are in total trash shape. Got really abused by my brothers and I as kids. I did use the minis for d&d several years ago, worked great. I wish I could play that now on PC or a tablet.

What about Dragon Strike, anyone play that? I freaking have that VHS that came with it memorized.

Okay, you get bundle trash before everyone else, but you also have to give your cards away, so there's hardly a point in doing that as opposed to waiting for it to be 8 cents in a bundle. I'm okay with writing a legit review for a game (not copy-pasting it from a Spanish site that was Google translated) but I'm not doing all the fucking work and giving someone else the fruits of my idling labor for no reason. Spoder will praise that shit all day, but it's not appealing at all to me. I'll keep the cards when I get the game. Carl also told me that he's too lazy to make alts, and that's partly why he's giving you all games to sucky sucky and love long time.

If y'all want to whore yourselves out THAT much, then go for it. To each their own.

Edit: Thanks for the hard drive numbers, by the way. I'm going to get one and put some top quality German porn on it and send it to Carl.

Plus why the hell does he have these keys in the first place? I thought they were going to be leftovers from his giveaways or whatever but if these are new releases that just came out I'm assuming those doofus indie devs want promotion for those keys, not for them to pad his Steam wallet.

I mean, if people do reviews, however phoned in it may be, at least they get something out of that.

I got an order in on my phone.  For two, actually, because trying to add it eventually doubled them up and I wasn't about to go back and remove one.  They did place a pending charge on my AmEx so I know it went through.

I have no expectation of it working but then I didn't expect my Xbox/Laptop deal to get honored either so whatever.  It's only keystrokes.
