PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I used to wear the Axe bodyspray stuff.  I tried to be aware enough to not put on too much, but not sure if I ever overdid it.  I'm sure once or twice I did.  Now I just do deodorant and call it a day.

I don't want other people to wear it either.  I'd always get a headache when people around me at work or on the bus would wear it.  Just no.

Out tomorrow according to PS Blog tweets today, so it appears to be releasing. Review embargo ends tomorrow, though, and things aren't promising from the beta.
Well, that's not what I asked but it's a good thing you're always here trying hard to be right about stuff.

So Wren - what the hell did you stick in your ear to puncture your ear drum?
After what must be close to 30 years I finally did what doctors and "experts" always warn you about. I jabbed a q tip into my ear drum. Since I can remember I have always enjoyed using a q tip after my shower to get the water our of my ears. It just feels good. Well this time I was careless and was talking to my daughter or she called me or something. I honestly cant remember exactly since I blacked out for a second or two when it happened. Anyway I was using the ol q tip and decided to take my hand off it bit leave it in my ear for some reason and when I went to take it back I wasnt paying enough attention and hit it into my ear before I got a handle on it.

I knew right away I punctured it since I could feel it stuck in something and then I pulled it out and could hear/feel air rushing by inside my ear. And I confirmed it later when I held my nose and blew gently and heard air rushing out of my ear. Pretty crazy. For several hours Friday night I was testing my hearing anyway I could to see if I could still hear. And I can, but its very muted. I read it can take months to heal but most people do regain full hearing after it heals. It just takes time. And dont get water into it. At least I can get an antibiotic prescribed for that just in case.

Anyway, I guess I need to start using something else to get the water out. Have had suggestions to use some vibrator thing. Not what women use but something else. I cant remember, need to ask again about it.

Name brand q tip all the way. the cheap ones just arent the same. and name brand q tips are like a couple bucks for a box of 300 or something so its def worth it.

Man......$85 for 3 oz of liquid.

How long is a 3 oz bottle of cologne supposed to last?
I usually get stuff off of fragrancenet as they usually have good coupon codes to take a good chunk off of the price. I got 4 oz of polo for 45 and a 4.2 oz tester of L'Eau d'Issey for 28 back in January. They should last me through the year.

Damnit Bums, I knew if I KS'd it I'd end up getting at least one of the Mega bosses + Dark Root Basin too, and I did.
What mega boss are you going to get? I messed up and thought they were sending out form separately for the add-ons. I guess I'll email Steamforged and see if I can add to my order.

You can use those Swimmer's Ear drops.  It is essentially very pure alcohol though.

ETA: I hope it goes without saying, but just in case: Do not to use them right now on that ear  :)

I had to stop using Q-tips long ago.  I was constantly getting outer ear infections.  I didn't believe the Doctor that told me those were the reason why until I stopped and they stopped.  It sucks though because my ears constantly itch.  A ENT gave me something to use to help with that, but I used it like twice since it felt like I was pouring acid in my ear.

I should be done with Doom just in time then. Also means I need to hold off on Uncharted 4.

also cologne sucks. everyone that wears perfume/cologne wears too much. if you have that much to cover up don't go out of the house today.
Granted, you're married, but girls love it when guys smell good.

I would never use it to cover up body odor though cause that doesn't work, it just mixes with your BO, it doesn't get rid of it.

I let my audiologist wife read this posts, she laughed out loud and just left the room shaking her head.

Then she came back to say wren is a pretty big idiot for not going to a doctor.

I mean she could have said "That guy really should see a doctor as soon as he can rather than try to treat it at home." But I imagined it as "This wrencrest guy is a complete moron who probably tries to have sex with old ladies and I bet he blew out his eardrum on purpose just so that he could feel how they feel when they cant hear nothing."

So I ended up on Sears site when I was browsing for colognes earlier. I put in my zip code to see if one was in stock near me but it wasn't. That's it, I didn't sign in or anything.

Just now I got an email in my work email (which was open when I was browsing the site) which I never EVER use for anything. How could they have gotten my email address?

Since we're being candid. I had to go to urgent care a few weeks ago for a lavage in ny ear. Apparently using qtips can impact and push the wax down.

I really wish I played more of the Overwatch beta. Theres something in my head telling me to buy it, but I feel like I didn't like it enough to justify that voice.

Maybe there will be a demo. I've never really understood the criteria for whether a game has one or not, but a MOBA seems like a good candidate for it.

Wren, my wife is legitimately concerned about your eardrum.

She said that I need to tell you to go to the ER or schedule an appointment with an ENT. Apparently they can patch it if there's a hole.

Thanks but If i were in pain or bleeding or something I would have gone to the urgent care. I wasnt clear before but my audiologist appt is first then I have an appt with the ENT right after. Apparently thats just the way they do it. Either way im seeing both the same day and as early as I could get. I couldnt get any earlier than a week from today cause doctors offices are always full.

And doctors suck.

Apparently I misread gator's post and thought he was telling wren to dump eardrops into his ear with a hole in it.

I still don't get how wren can wait forever to go get his hole fixed.

This is the best.

For over six hours, some congressional hopeful from Virginia posted a screenshot to his website/social media that showed his browser on some political page. Unbeknownst to him, his two most recent porn tabs were still open in the background when he took said screen shot.

I always take an extra long sniff from the can after I peel off the top of a can of fresh tennis balls.
I used to work at a tennis facility when I was a teenager and putting in the fresh balls were definitely the highlights.

EDIT: And cute girls in those skirts.

I used my potty break to try and save scum digimon. I don't know why I'm pretending I'll go for the plat.
Saving a Digimon one shit at a time.
