Well I am not a huge racing fan but The Crew is a nice get. Do not have Super Meat Boy so I am happy with that also.  Not sure if XCOM TIV will increase with the BC but I have a physical copy and it trades for $1 right now at GS.  I guess I can use it as a coaster.

Edit: Well according to my spreadsheet I only spent $2 on EU so I may trade it for $1.

I got immediately hooked on PQ1 and its great, but I played the demo for PQ2 when it came out and it didn't do it as much for me. Maybe I was just burned out by PQ1. But on sale I'll buy it and give it another chance.

Off topic 2.0:

In the Great Gamertag Giveaway, chipzilla is still taken, but you have just given me an idea for an awesome gamertag (which I'm sure some turd is going to take 5 sec. after I post). But earlier some people posted about issues when changing gamertags.

Are there issues I should be cognizant of when changing gamertags? I'm only on the 360 and I'm not in the rewards program (which I believe some have mentioned problems with). Not sure if it is actually worth the hassle and $.

 
I think EU was so popular that it's unlikely to go up much in actual value, though GS will jack it's price up a couple bucks. Enemy Within though was an awkwardly timed release and send to have been a smaller run. Hopefully that hits BC soon.
 
Good to see all the games hitting BC. I would have preferred Enemy Within, too, but seeing EU hit BC gives me hope that EW will follow it eventually. Also, regarding Red Dead not being a possible GWG because it's on sale right now, I wouldn't count out an E3 announcement considering that Super Meat Boy was on sale through 5/9 and is now going to be a GWG.

Got LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game for 2,49€ don't know if that is a pricing error over here or the regular price...because normally we pay more in € prices over here....oh well totally worth it...also finally tales of vesperia is discounted over here too...whenever it got a discount in the past it was US only...I mean I do have the game already but...would like to get it digitally again for 5€...

I haven't played Fire Emblem, but I love strategy RPGs and I thought Banner Saga was great even at full price. Most of the Fire Emblem games seem to be longer than Banner Saga, but Banner Saga saves will carry over to the next game, which should be pretty cool. Story is pretty good and the art is awesome.

I recently bought both Goat Simulator and The Crew (Wild Run though)..
Goat Simulator is stupid fun for a few hours. Definitely a, different, kind of game. Silliness breaks up the monotony of other games. Hardly takes itself seriously.
I don't dislike The Crew as a whole, mainly just the story, and the slow grind for progress. Still, it's pretty nice to drive around such a large map, even though it obviously can't be a 1:1 replica of the US. I think it's around 90 miles on the GPS to go from Florida to Washington state..
 
The only good thing imo from the GWG is Goat Simulator and I won that from Shojsauce

The Crew - I'm not going to disrespect my :xb1: console by downloading that trash.

SMB- Have it on :ps4: from PS+ so would rather play the upgraded version

XCOM- Good game but I already have it

goat simulator is easy achievements and from what I understand the 360 version of SMB, is considered the best version because the ps4 version lost the good music

 
My kids had the best time with goat simulator. They played it all day. Laughed like crazy. They would climb this tall hill and next to it was a water slide. They would take off running and jump into the water slide. The goat would go all crazy and come flying off at the end. Once they went really high in the sky and got hit by a plane. The goat slide off and his tongue got stuck to the plane and was getting dragged through the air hanging by his tongue. I've never heard the kids laugh so hard. They had sound like little mad scientists.

You can beat the game in about 2 hours but they wore that game out.

Also I just found out aside from LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean and Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two...also Toy Story 3 and Lego Indina Jones 2 are only 2,49€ over here in Germany. Sooo I bought them all...don't think any of these games will ever be gwg either...

 
Also side note but they need to put more pressure on publishers to make their games backwards compatable. I would be buying tales of vesperia and all these on sale but they are not playable.

360 is a dead console, don't bother with sales on games unless you plan to make more of them BC.

It has not. One of the reasons I have difficulty buying games now is bec with my luck it'll become GwG in the near future - hard to pass up Saints Row 1 & 2 for $1.99 each. I still have a lot of MS points from the Black Friday Target sale a few years back which I thought I would have used up but with GwG, I've been able to resist.

Xcom Enemy Unknown was released first, they put out one dlc pack that people complained about so they just held the rest of the planned dlc to include in Enemy Within (aside from Second Wave, which was a free dlc of optional tweaks to the game like random stat progression, mixed up global funding, partial flanking bonuses, etc).

Enemy Within expands the game with the dlc for Enemy Unknown, and adds a resource to be collected on missions that expire after a set number of turns. This resource then lets you build mechs or add genetic implants to your squad. There are a bunch of new enemies, including hostile humans that try to sabotage your research so you have to split your offense between aliens and humans. EW also changes the main story missions that people thought were anticlimatic because they were designed to be victory laps after making it through the brutality of the campaign.

I think EW is far superior to EU, aside from the update that came out after about a month and 100% of the time crashes games when a mission you have to play launches. Really a crowd pleaser for people that played on Iron Man, which allows only one save file it auto overwrites every turn, locking your game into a glitch.

Super tempted by Shadow of Mordor on 360. I know, I know, you guys are gonna tell me it sucks on last gen. I can't find a job though, so I don't see an Xbox One in my near future  :whistle2:(

From what I have seen and how I've seen it described, it looks like a hybrid of Assassin's Creed, Batman Arkham games and Dragon's Dogma. I love all 3 of those.

So with that being said and knowing no upgrade is in my near future, I'm just curious if it's actually worth a purchase, especially since it's cheaper on the marketplace than it is on Amazon.

Yes to Batman and AC. I loved Dragon's Dogma, but I'm not sure I see the comparison there. I played Mordor on the Xbone so I can't speak to how it performs on the 360, but I really enjoyed it. The first few hours are a little tough while you're leveling up your skills and whatnot, but once you do, you can run around killing Uruks in a myriad of ways. I put about 40 hours into the GOTY edition (about ~30 in the base game) so there's a good amount of content too.

I think the only Dragon's Dogma comparison I really noticed was the character movement. Not combat or anything. I probably should have specified that.

The only thing the 360 version lacks is the Nemesis system. It isn't a huge deal, just a fun novelty. I don't know how the 360 version holds up graphically/performance wise.

Side note: I've never played a CoD game but I bought Advanced Warfare during last weeks' sale and I'm actually excited to give it a try.
 
I hope this means Enemy Within will come to BC. I'll probably grab Ducktales with it's next sale.

What would anyone recommend out of this weeks sale that actually has a decent discount? Super Coin Squad is the only one really standing out to me.

 
Dang, I just bought Super Meat Boy for $4.94 two weeks ago. You all can thank me for that.

I surprisingly don't have either of the X1 games, so that makes up for it. I'm happy
