PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I didn't realize they're higher than Nashville, which is 9.25%. Makes sense for tourist traps, though of course it sucks for the people that live there.
Most people dont live there or if they do they can just travel a bit outside the city and find places to shop I bet. Or they are rich like Dolly Parton and dont give a damn.

One of my friends lived in Minnesota for a little while and he said that there was no sales tax on clothes. I thought that was an odd exclusion.
In middle/high school in Wisconsin, people would always drive the hour plus up to the outlet mall on the outskirts of the Twin Cities (and later to the Mall of America) to do their new school clothes shopping at the end of every summer just to save money on sales tax. Failing to realize they're probably giving it right back in gas money.

Really tempted to pick up dungeons 2. Had it confused with something else, cause I thought it was an rpg. It's actually an rts, which makes it even more tempting. The couple games i was going to trade in towards the witcher expansion also shot up in value, and will put me right about at $50 with the 50% promo at gs(which is how much the game costs).
Yeah I saw that. Looks cool but rts never feel that fluid on controllers.

Persian chicks are really hot.
No shit. French and Persian mixed is even better.

I think you should go with #4.

I remember going once to Paramus, NJ. Our family of five and my aunt, uncle, and cousin. We took two cars. Not to far a drive but not around the corner either. My aunt wanted some fancy fur coat or something and wanted to save on the tax. We all need school clothes anyway.

I got sick and went outside with my uncle and laid down in his car. My dad came out a short while later and asked if I was better. I said no. He was like we are leaving. My Aunt and Uncle said they weren't done shopping and then we can go out for dinner. My dad was like he is sick and we are going home.

I think that was the first and only time we ever went to NJ to buy school clothes.

Why? Taxes are fun!? No one is talking about anything good anyway. Taxes are important to know about too. Everyone needs to know more about how this shit affects them! We are doing community service here!
I'd rather talk about the high comedy that is Kentucky asking how to make a baby and then Tennessee asking what the clap is.

Jesus Munky should have gave us a warning label on Munkyflix. I've only been sleeping a max of 4 hours every day because of it.
Actual conversation I had yesterday after talking about movies with a coworker:

Me: "Oh yeah, that guy! He's in this movie I just watched on Munkyflix." (oops, did I say Munkyflix out loud? fuck.)

Coworker: "Munkyflix? What the fuck is that? I've never heard of it."

Me: "Oh, well, there's this forum I'm on with a bunch of video game people, and one of the guys... oh, fuck it, nevermind."

Brilliant line from the article:

South Dakotans ask, “Is it truly possible to understand another person, or are even those closest to us ultimately unknowable?” Ha, just kidding. South Dakota asked, “Why is my poop green?” more than any other state.

Well today's is my bday and I woke up with the worst back pain. Today is also 7 years no cigarettes. I think I'm going to pop some pills, get faded and play some games. Hopefully that will cure some of the pain. I got another show tonight so I gotta get this pain dealt with asap.

Alaska, Montana, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Oregon all have no sales tax.
Not 100% true. For Alaska, it's done by borough. The main big one, Anchorage has no Sales Tax. I'm pretty sure they do down in Kenai.

We drive across the bridge into Oregon for any major purchases (anything over $200 or so) to avoid getting hit with the sales tax.

Let's talk about these nipples and how disturbing their positioning is. (No nudity. Just some hard nips in a shirt.)

Those are just big naturals squished together in a shirt that is 2 sizes two small. I am not disturbed at all. I am fascinated. Cant. Stop. Staring.

Gamestop is giving $48 for Uncharted 4 when traded in towards Doom. Since I only have the MP trophies left, I think I'll trade my copy in and borrow one from my library for the plat.

So recap on the Brad Nowell 20th anniversary memorial show. Well it was fantastic show plus got to meet a bunch of old collectors I used to deal with in other states. Lots of people flew in for this show and even as far as Japan.

The highlight for me was seeing this band called Falling Idols. They're a punk bank from the early 80's where members went on to other bands. They played 3 shows since the broke up and I saw 2 of them. Simmias will know about Dave Quakenbush who now plays with The Vandals, Randy Bradbury plays with Pennywise. All I can say is these guys are 50 years old and still killing punk rock.

yeah, state income tax is double what it is in Kansas (8% vs 4% iirc). property taxes don't seem to be any more damning than where I'm living presently though. they might actually be a bit lower.
Oh, Portland loves it's taxes.

There's a per-resident $35 arts tax.

http://www.portlandoregon.gov/revenue/60076

There's the 0.10 gas tax that I mentioned earlier, that exists only in the city.

Supposedly the business taxes are pretty bad as well..

Simmias forgot to mention that Mike Watt & The SecondMen are playing tonight. As you know Mike Watt kills the bass and looks like it's all Minutemen songs plus other covers.
