PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I've  never been a big comic book guy. I love Batman and Spider-Man but that's about it. I'd much rather a new Spawn movie that's dark and rated R that's faithful to the comics come out than any Marvel or DC movie they can make. I'm still shocked this hasn't happened. The Crow is actually my favorite movie based on a comic book.

Get one to stick to the outside of someone's window

Think this will be a lazy sunday. Each kid watching their own show via personal device, me goofing off on the computer and playing Vita.

McFarlane just wrote a new script.

I can't imagine it's that common. Either way it's pretty ridiculous for the web site and the mobile app to feature the "Pickup at a local store!" element so heavily without acknowledging the difference in price.
Usually there is a blue "Online Only" thing above the price that will designate it as an online only price, if the item is also available for pickup. If they stopped doing that, then they continue to show why the business they usually get from me are

So yeah I thought Xmen Apocalypse was awesome. Maybe got a little long, but probably my favorite Xmen movie. I'll reevaluate after I watch First Class.

Witcher Wild Hunt has a 40% off deal on Cartwheel today and tomorrow only. Could get a decent deal with price match shenanigans.
Nice. It's $29.99 at Amazon, which brings it down to $17.95 after Carthweel. Wishing I hadn't grabbed it in one of the recent $24.99 sales on PSN.

Bad storytelling, terrible mapping and travel, and the quest system is moronic. Plus they literally forgot to translate the last exchange with the final boss and whatever the final boss says while dying after the battle. Gameplay is decent, good trophy list for the most part, plenty of content....but the confusing navigation and lack of cohesion in the game along with the poor story just make it so I can't recommend it for anybody who isn't really into JRPGs and doesn't care that there's plenty of better stuff to play.

Now that I'm back on my computer, I can properly enjoy this. I love copy pasta like this and breaking down the thoughts of our snakey Lothario.

The "lol yea that's me" is a pretty terse and short response. She probably knows who this guy is and isn't really interested in engaging with him (for obvious reasons)

Then I love the "how about we take this to PM's?" Last time I checked, you don't need anyone's permission to PM them. Just send her a PM asking if she wants to share Nintendo IDs! If she ignores you or says no, then at least it's private, not on her damn feed to everyone see that you got denied.

Then of course the tirade. He gives her all of 24 minutes to reply to his posts. She could have had every intention to reply, but had jumped in the shower or went for a walk or any one of a million other things that would pull her away from Facebook for 24 minutes. Instead he just jumped to the conclusion that he was being shunned, and (to my delight) went with the self-righteous gamer approach to try and make her look bad! "Titan Souls? Hotline Miami 2?" So savage, he really got her!

CBS has the PGA Tour event today, they have this really cool feature on tee shots that track the ball's arc, which is really useful because it's basically impossible to see where the ball was driven against the bright sky.

Pretty sure we got it, Kilik.

Traded in a bunch of stuff to Gamestop towards a new copy of Doom and used a $25 coupon on it; I'm excited to get started after watching gameplay videos.

I'm more concerned that it's listed as available for PS3 and Vita.

I started Slasher on Netflix last night. I think it originally aired earlier this year on the Chiller network. It's nice to watch some old-school Halloween/Friday the 13th-style horror rather than all the paranormal shit that is put out now. The killer is pretty scary-looking, too.

I thought X-Men Apocalypse was okay and probably my least favorite of the new trilogy. It's not like I was super hyped and had ridiculous expectations either.
I dunno I guess I was expecting more fights and stuff. It felt like it was all lead up to the final fight and that kind of fell flat.

Maybe Captain America spoiled me with the multiple fights throughout and seeing different characters interact and fight with all sorts of characters. We didn't really get to see the four horsemen do much besides sit next to Apocalypse. They were very tame/lame.

I did like some of the new recruits. Jean Grey and Scott Summers were cute and great together. Nightcrawler was better utilized than in the original trilogy. The new people took center stage. Mystique was pushed aside to make room for them. Which is fine but I was just underwhelmed overall. I didn't feel much suspense. We all know they don't kill off major characters so even in the apocalypse I didn't have a sense of danger.

The Magneto stuff hit the hardest and that's just because of the tragedy he has experienced in his life. Even then he was easily manipulated and I was kind tired of how easily he flip flops sides.

Has anyone here played the Prototype ports on PS4.  They're on sale again - Cheaper this time!!!

Just wanna know if they're any good.  I never played the second.

The movie lost me when Apocalypse decides that instead of going outside and easily killing all the X-men, he's going to sit inside with Xavier and do the transference and have his horsemen protect him. Like, why not take 5 minutes to kill everyone, then go back inside and do the transference? It wasn't like his body was dying and time was of the essence like in the beginning of the movie. And it wasn't like Xavier was going anywhere. Then when he finally does fight it was such a huge letdown.

The beginning of the movie was pretty badass, though.

I bought them but haven't started yet. I just decided to play Sleeping Dogs first since I checked a guide and Prototype 1 is a lot longer than I expected. I'll fire Prototype up and see how it is, though, and post about it probably tomorrow.

I was thinking about playing Sleeping Dogs, too. Way too much in my backlog.

I buy all my PS4 games at pawn shops. The one I frequent boasts "50% OFF GAMESTOP PRICES!" Which is true. Always cheaper than eBay, too.

Check out Prototype 1's Trophies. They look kinda shitty! 2's look like fun, though.

I support tyler's play by play. Sure, I could watch the guy bobble a ground ball letting the winning run score, but it's also fun with cartoon sound effects and a hee haw soundtrack.

and whoever said it earlier, I also don't really know what cities skylines is or whatever and I think I'm kind of in the know. I live on a fucking video game forum ffs.

Most of the Prototype 1 trophies look fine. I've played it before on PC and the only one that looks like it might be a problem is the "Consume less than 10 civilians during a playthrough" one. I consumed a ridiculous number of people when I played on PC. I sucked at it, though. There are also some grindy trophies but none look terrible. The challenges I do recall being tough in some cases. The tank challenges especially for some reason.

Prototype 2's list is way shorter. The guide shows 20 hours for that versus the 35-60 for the first game. Can't say I mind that.

I almost started Mad Max instead but 90 hours is a bit much. I want my next game to be a bit shorter and I think Sleeping Dogs is one of the shorter open world titles I've got available, so that's what I'm going for.

Speaking of Prototype, anyone here interested in sharing it with me? I'm not dying to play them now, but I'd like to pick them up just so I know I'll have access to them in the future. None of the funky phantom stuff, just have one account with the games on them that we'd all have access to if we ever wanted to play them. PM me if you have any interest.

Wren I tried the Tank 7 that you like so much. Gave it 2 chances and I don't like it much at all. Kinda tastes like rotten fruit. It's not terrible, so I'll finish off the 4 pack, but I doubt I'll buy it again.

unless there is something wrong now mad Max didn't take anywhere near 90 hours to plat. Great game too.

Jeeze, nobody frisky'd the drop? Gotta do everything around here. Dangerous Golf hype!
