I miss the days when Dragon Quest was 'just' an epic series of world class JRPG games; maybe I'm old fashioned. I can't imagine many Dragon Quest fans are getting too excited about the new Minecraft clone, it seems like an odd mash of genres.
Me too, but I'm so desperate, I'll buy nearly anything Dragon Quest. That said, the trailer made it look really lame. Man, now I really want to play Dragon Quest...

Unrelated: Any word of the Dragon's Dogma PC port coming to PS4?

Yeah, what is the deal with that? Similar to Helldivers. I bought it at launch and then it became free with PS+ but that version had extra shut and I couldn't download it because I 'already owned it'. That kind of shit always seems to happen with PSN.

Another example. I know for a FACT that I 'purchased' Don't Starve PS4 when it was free for PS+. I noticed during a recent sale it was part of it and it showed I didn't own it. I just checked again and it says I can download the PS3 & Vita versions of the Giant Edition but the PS4 Console Edition is $14.99. Then under the Giants Reign bundle it SAS 'Unavailable'. When I click on the 'Tell Me More' tab it says I can't purchase the item because I "already own Don't Starve Console Edition". Can someone please explain this cluster fuck?
I think PSN store just goes by the base game of each title in the store. Only way around it is buy it on another account and play it on your account. Really silly PSN doesn't give us an upgrade option if we already own the base game. It's not really that different than their promos for upgrading to PS4 version from PS3 versions of Minecraft for $4.99, and $9.99 for Assassins Creed Black Flag, Call of Duty Ghosts, etc...

No. What's it say?
It's a beta code (unless they suddenly released it) for Drawn to Death. I kind of clicked twice and it led me to a code fulfillment thingy and then I downloaded it. Looks like it's free-to-play anyways, so I'm pretty sure it's the full release (well, before the microtransactions).

Oh. They give out codes constantly. I think the "event" in the Events section for it has a code for anybody to use.

Dude if people are mad now about No Mans Sky imagine when the game comes out and it gets mediocre reviews?

This game is going to be a landmark but no algorithm made by a team of 20 people can make a universe interesting enough to explore.

This is how I have felt about the game all this time. It just seems it will get old very quickly for some reason, but hopefully I am wrong.

Finally finished Uncharted 3 yesterday, not going to lie, but after chapter 16 I just didn't care at all and the enemies just became bullet sponges, and the ending was kinda lame too. At least now I can go at Uncharted 4 :D/

Right now trying to resist buying Just Cause 3 XL & Dragon Quest Heroes.

Enjoy uncharted 4- it's a masterpiece in terms of story dialogue writing and of course visually.

Be warned that you won't want it to ever end. Just beat t the other day and literally was tearing up at the ending

You guys are just gonna complain about it like always
Fair enough but for me I see free games as an added bonus. It's all about sales and now to play online. I actually prefer indie games over AAA games that I've already played 2 years ago

The announcement of free games is more exciting than playing them sometimes

Dangerous Golf could be promising. It's by a group of devs from the original Burnout team so likely to be similar to the crash mode in those. Anxious to know pricing on it.

Edit: Xbox thread has $19.99 for the price

When a game become free on PS Plus, will it ever become free again? Like in a different month?

Just wondering because I want to buy Dragon's Crown but seen some people saying it might be free soon...sorry am still new to PS  :wall:

it has not happened since the instant game collection occurred in 2012 (around e3) I think. it did happen before then with some old sega genesis games.

Okay, cool. So I assume I'm safe buying it then lol.

How is Dragon Quest Heroes? (seen it in your sig) Just ordered a copy off Newegg :D

I went ahead and picked up Prototype Bio-hazard Bundle.  It's basically like Infamous and Crackdown.  So anyone that likes those games should pick it up since it's one of those open world sandbox super power games.  I've played about the first half dozen story missions in the first game so far, it's pretty much as you'd expect from a game like that.  It seems like a good deal, $20 for two full games.

Thanks for the description of what the game is. I'm not sure we knew that before.
I personally had no idea what it was before this. I expect most people are like me and don't research what every single game ever released is. Especially when they have some generic one word name that means really nothing to anyone.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Instant_Game_Collection_games_(North_America)

Complete list of all past PS+ free game, separated by month added. You can see if there have been any repeat freebies (which I don't think there have been, or at least not in a long time) Easier to scroll through that list than try and find lists here on CAG.

I wonder if the people you mention are thinking it may go free to play.

thoughts on dying light season pass --  bought dying light on black friday and have yet to even open it.  wondering if the pass content is worthwhile?  since sony does not negotiate to put dlc on sale often ---  or i just keep missing the sales ---  wondering if this discount is something I should jump on or hope it is offered again sometime?

If you like Dying Light it's worth it just for the big expansion....forget the name. Offers up hours of gameplay for sure. The rest of the stuff is not needed of course. I'd say it's worth $20 or so.

If you have an hour or two tonight, try out Dying Light first. For the first half hour, I wasnt really feeling it. But after another hour or so, I really started liking it. And I before I knew it, I was trying to platinum it. This is just one of those games that takes some time for you to really get in to. Considering how great the rest of the game is, I would say that price is worth it. I haven't tried The Following yet, but I definitely plan to. But like I said, try to play it tonight, so if you do like it, you wont miss out on the sale.

don't buy season passes before you even know if you like the actual game
