PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Around 0:19-:20 when he rolls up the hill and then jumps. Around 0:42 when he's sliding down the ice and the camera is being moved around. Around 1:07 when he's rolling up the ice cramp. Around 1:12 when he's holding onto his little buddy's feet and the camera is moving to show the scenery below. There are others but those are all fairly easy to see.

In all those cases the animation seems to stutter a bit and as a result has some slight jumps where the intermediate movements are missing. It could be something on my system's end, but I'm able to rewind and see those problems in the same repeatedly so I think the issue is either a problem with the trailer's encode or the game itself.
You know that guy in American Beauty who goes on about the plastic bag and about how there's so much beauty in the world that he just can't take it? You make him look like the most unpretentious guy in the world.

There's not gonna be any trailers left for E3 at this point. I hope they don't just show that Horizon trailer again. But it'll be cool to see on the big screen I guess.
This happened last year too and there was still a pretty crazy ass e3. This year will probably be pretty silly because VR lol and ps4.5.

I think horizon will either be the next enslaved/vanquish or it'll be massively disappointing. I don't expect it to be mediocre at all for some reason.

Just started the monster capturing part in the FFX remake. This is what extends the game time. If you actually play through this sidequest the game becomes 75% monster hunting, 25% actual story-based game.

Apparently some 18 year old idiot donated $50,000 to various twitch streamers. Then he tried to do chargebacks through PayPal to get the money back and they shut him down and won't refund him. Most likely it was mommy and daddy's money and he got in deep doo doo when they found out.

Kids are idiots.

I kinda doubt we see ps4.5 at e3, depending on when the launch is. Launching during e3 or right after, will see it, if not will most likely be at tgs or something closer to the later fall release thats been shot around.

e3 is too early to announce if not coming out until nov/dec, would cannibalize current sales.

When trailers only feature stuff that *might* be gameplay, I'm going to go with no-gameplay.
Even if there was no gameplay, it looked to be in-engine cut scenes for a lot of what we were shown and that's at least a lot more revealing than cinematic stuff.

Trailers without gameplay are worthless as a way of introducing a game, IMO. I don't give a shit about a game's story until I know if the gameplay is going to interest me. It's a game, not a movie, so cut scenes and such are worthless for determining whether it's something I'd enjoy. We've had over ten minutes of gameplay footage for H:ZD at this point, though, and I know I'm interested in playing it. So I'm happy to see a bit more about the story now.

There's no point even showing off 4.5 unless they have some 4k gameplay to feature with it. Maybe they'll show off some newly announced game in that fashion, but otherwise I don't want to hear about it yet.

Hopefully they don't waste too much time on Morpheus or Powers s2.

Europe has a CE coming for Horizon, but maybe we'll get something similar:

I'd prefer one without the statue to bring the cost down a bit, because I can see this costing $100+.

I still have to finish Dead Rising 3. A lot of the charm was lost for me in a big open city (which was a huge pain in the ass to navigate around). I preferred the more confined environments of the first two  that you ended up knowing all the ins and outs of. Not to mention he bright and colorful mall/casino environments were just a lot more fun to run around in than the drab city they had in 3.

I thought Pacific Rim 2 was off the table?
So did I.

Also, got the R&C1 through-the-wall trick figured out. Once you figure out the positioning of the drones it's actually pretty easy to pull off. It wasn't until my fourth time getting through the wall that I managed to get myself over to the correct area while clipping through all the walls and such. Now I've got something balanced juuust so on the O button and firing the taunter off constantly. Hopefully the trophy will trigger before it's time to head home.

Apparently if you watch the live stream and other various e3 goings-ons from live.playstation.com you can unlock avatars and themes and assorted other whatnot.

Just checked the weather and it says it's 84° and feels like 83°. How is that possible? I thought it could only feel hotter due to humidity, not cooler from lack of it.

It is pretty nice out.

I know it sounds dumb, and I love that FF12 finally got announced, but I wish I'd stayed away from the news until E3.  FF12 was one of my wishes for this E3, and now I'll probably be disappointed if we don't get RDR Remastered or Mass Effect Collection Remastered.

Anyone else watching the NASCAR race at the Tricky Triangle via the game graphics representation on their phone at their desk now?  Just me?

That's cool whatever.

I don't know what this means.
If you have Sprint, you can use the NASCAR RaceCenter app for free. Uses data from the cars to show the race in what looks like video game form. You can listen to the driver in-car audio for any driver or the official radio broadcasts. It's a good way to follow the race when you can't watch it on TV.

All you need to do is just forget you already heard it

Your wishlist is full of remasters? Damn.

Now you can see them turn left instead of just hearing about them turning left on the radio!
