PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Looks like cig lighter may give a little power and its trying to turn over, but can't make it all the way.

Edit: yeah cig lighter is powered when key goes to ACC. But radio won't go on. Maybe I got shit battery
Could be any number of things, bad starter, alternator going out, you need to seek professional help at this point.

Or an electrical problem in the car. But I don't really know anything about diagnosing/fixing cars. I know how to add fuel, though!

Called where I got battery and they suggested testing the charge with a volt meter (which I'm trying now) hitting the starter with a rubber mallet.

That hitting the starter with a mallet bit has reminded me that I had a car once where that worked. I think it was seizing up or something and whacking it with something would free it up, but it was only a temporary fix.

Ya, as a non-mechanically inclined person, I don't mind paying the yearly fee for AAA so I don't have to worry about getting stranded somewhere and they can diagnose some of those problems, change tires, replace batteries, etc. or tow me to my dealership if needed.

New battery has a 12.62 read-out on the 'ok multimeter and old one has a 11.72. No idea where the starter is and Google isn't much help.

I'm gonna have to tie this one I think.

My wife has AAA and I keep thinking I should get a membership too. It's definitely worth it if you even use it once. Saves a lot of trouble.
You can add family members to an existing plan at a reduced rate, each extra person is close to 1/3rd the cost of the primary holder's membership cost depending on which part of the country you are in and the level of the plan.

Zimm you should just leave that worthless car on the side of the road and buy a new one.  All you have to do is stop drinking at a bar every night for the next month and you will have enough money saved up.

Exactly, we just did this with my wife since her own account was running out. We have the Plus membership and it's well worth the price plus you get AAA discounts throughout the year.

I wasn't thinking anything would be announced for it, but now I'm curious. Port or more content?

Sure, but you usually have this coverage already "roadside assistance" through your insurance or car dealership (if you bought the car new)

It has 130k plus on it so that's not a bad idea. But yeah shit credit and shit bank accounts make that possibility seem slim. Especially if I'm gonna finally move out in a few weeks like we planned.

Bah they had it 299 for 2tb, shoulda known that was wrong. Still 300 for 500gb and its a 4k blu ray player, not terrible.
Another $100 for the 2tb and it comes with a controller. Which might be good to have. I have to imagine it will be $50 off and/or come with some games for BF.

Was able to find Mad Max for PS4 for sale in a Redbox not too far from my job.

A little disappointed the game was actually in the case and not some random movie with the barcode sticker from the game stuck over it.

Guess I will try and finish the plat soon.

Solid showing at the Xbox conference.  Lots of games, little to no fluff. Leaks ruined a lot of the impact. Forza Horizon 2 was the only game I didn't read about ahead of time (blah to non-arcadey racing games). Scorpio reveal was confusing. They have all kinds of teraflops or whatever, but all games will presumably still work on the Bone? Did I hear that right?

Yeah, you heard it right. By the time Scorpio comes out XB1 will probably be at 1/3 or 1/4 market share instead of what 1/2 now?

Yeah, you're right, I misspoke on that. Was thinking about the relative numbers rather than the total.
No worries. I just figured if Xbox had half the market, that means they've sold roughly an equal number of boxes to PS4s, which we know there's zero chance of that. I wasn't sure if I just totally missed something or it was a mistake.
