I'm all powered up on Taco Bell breakfast and I'm ready to make a purchase with the help of the community. It's been a long time since I've played a JRPG and I need to remind myself why that is. What's the best JRPG deal in this sale? I'd prefer something 3D, but I could go 2D as well.

Thanks!

Sonic Racing Transformed.

Tales of Symphonia is supposed to be very good and pretty cheap.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/372360/

Tales of Zestiria is also on sale. Newer so will probably look better but I hear it's not as good as symphonia.

Giving this a bump ... drawing a winner later today

Bumping this so we can get this going!
So far I believe it's
1. nitrosmob
2 NYstate (me)
3. [This could be you!]
4. [Ask me how!]

If we don't get 2 more, the Nazi zombie will win we can't have that happen can we?!

I sent this message before I walked in to the room!
Bumping nystate's post since it was early. I do want this game:).

I'm also saying thanks for recommending ArchiSteamFarm...works great and just requires a little tweaking and has great tweaking potential. Going to use to get the rest of the cards.

Also something to be on the lookout for I will likely be holding a mass giving out of keys (At least 120+). I may do it later and it will be a send me messages things since I just don't want to do a mass key unloading, plus I know I get pissed since not everyone is at their computer ready to redeem on Steam for every key drop.

Thanks everbody for your answers. Tunnelbear worked great
It's the cheapest and easiest without being semi shady (hola there hola). No need to get all fancy for something you need on for a few seconds.

It doesn't have every country, notably Russia is missing, but it does also have Canada for Bundlestars and I guess Brazil for Nuuvem although that's become a bit obsolete with all the Paypal locks now.

Is the Ghostbusters game any good?
Yeah. Game play isn't exceptional but from a "film" standpoint you have the original cast doing the voices and some script input from Aykroyd and Ramis. Dan Aykroyd said that the PC game was essentially the third Ghostbusters movie.

I bought it on Gamersgate back when it was taken off Steam but I should double-dip and get it on Steam now. I never finished it and I never will as a stand-alone GG download.

The only bad thing about the game is the fact that even on very powerful hardware it feels sluggish and doesn't always run at full speed without skipping frames. It's got something to do with how the game was programmed.

Also... controller play is pretty bad. I just went with mouse and keyboard since it was easier to aim the Neutrona Wand that way.

I think I spent maybe $15 in funbux on myself and another $8 in gifts. I keep looking and thinking that I'll find some other cheapish gem but no luck so far. A far cry from the days where I'd drop three digits but then there doesn't even seem to be summer sale events at Amazon, GMG, GG, etc any longer so I guess this is as good as it gets.

Still plenty of stuff on my wishlist though if someone is looking to spend money.

broke down and picked up Mushroom Wars.

Had a blast on the PS3 and the Steam version is far superior with K/M integration.

Woot!  Now, if only they port Fat Princess from PSN to Steam.

Tried the Marvel 2016 game. It started great on the tutorial... but when I went to fight Ultron, I suddenly can't attack or anything, only walk around. Closed the game, started again... tutorial all over again but with the "glitch" this time... can't attack anything. Tried searching for help on the web... and then the game crashed and I had to kill the process. Ok. Uninstalling.

So I need a bigger HDD. Looking at a 2tb sshd for $100 on Best Buy. Is the extra $30 or so worth it for these kinds of drives? Wish large ssd would drop in price.

You could always try the 'tell us about a better price' link. It couldn't hurt. If you already did, well yeah they've always been kind of hit or miss on their price matches once there was no longer a human around we could talk to and get to manually flip the ones the crawler missed.
Yeah tried it already :/

Started playing assassins creed black flag like a week ago...the game starts out great, it's a shock to the system playing an AC game with lush environments, and the ship battles are pretty cool. The change is invigorating, then after a decent while playing you realize it's still an assassins creed game with underdeveloped mechanics, unreliable free climbing, and the easiest and unengaging combat i think i've ever played. Probably my favorite AC game I've played to date but that's not saying much. Don't want to finish the game.

re: 4pack of Zombie Army Trilogy, I'll buy one if you are still looking for people.  I was thinking about getting it anyway.

I have never been able to understand how assassin's creed games do as well as they do.

I've actually been waiting for summer sales at other places. I think humble or GMG would be the best bet maybe.

Thanks to ITAD I found out that the Scandinavia DLC for ETS was cheaper on the WinGameStore. Go figure.

Black Flag was awesome while it was a pirate game. Then I exhausted all the open world stuff and it became a mixture of having to follow people around Havana for seven minutes when I wasn't getting yelled at in an office building. Then it wasn't much fun any more.

I was going to ask about this. It looks grandma-ish enough that I might actually even bro it, but they say the multi-player is dead, which of course is true for 99% of indie multi-player games on Steam.

Going to test out Boss Monster and The Witcher Adventure Game for possible bro nights. Will also look into Tabletop Simulator after the Humble Monthly is revealed.
Another one to check out would be verdun. Grabbed it since a few friends got it and they have a groupbuy. Its definitely much easier to get in to than the other ww1/2 shooters like red orchestra. The squad play is pretty interesting as well since each squad is a historic one and fits certain roles and gets certain weapons. Played a few rounds last night and today and they were fun

If a couple other drawing-losers want to get in on a 4-pack of Verdun, it's $8.15 $6.92 a copy ($12.50 as a single).  Willing to host if three others want to go along.  There's a Bro-Night for it on Thursday but anyone is welcome to get in on the group buy.

**Thanks to Fox for the Bundlestars tip

Yeah we had a bronight before and it was fun but only 4 of us showed up. Would be better now that we'd have 6 people (including you and Malkan).

What spoder said. It's pretty fun and we enjoy it. I think we've broed it twice, but not enough people and I can understand since it isn't supercheap.

You might be able to get it a little cheaper from the land of the moose on Bundlestars if it is still on sale there.

Edit: And gone.

They are safe. All of Ubisoft's offerings are. I'm not knocking them, as I thoroughly enjoy them. Hell, as much flak as I take for it, Watch_Dogs was one of my top ten favorite games of 2014. Black Flag is, up unto now, my favorite Assassin's Creed game, though. The setting was what sold it for me. Most of the series, prior to this game, were a bit drab, but completely in the realm of where they were set. I felt like Black Flag had such a wonderful aesthetic to it, where it was pretty to boot up and just sail... Stop by a few islands... Live it up.

While I cannot defend the mechanics of any of their games, or the side-missions, or most of what they do, I still find I enjoy their games for the most part. I just love seeing games accept a bright and adventurous tone these days, which makes it easier to sell to me.

Anybody thoroughly enjoying Subnautica?
