Not on sale, but has anyone preordered Fractured But Whole? Wondering if the included Stick Of Truth download comes immediately or upon release.

Played a few matches of Hawken to try that out. That framerate sure is a thing that kind of sucks along with the texture pop-in issues.
Yeah, same on X1. Sucks because it's a good game on PC (but I'm not really a PC gamer).

Ok, I was sucked into the warframe rabbit hole a bit... How often do the platinum coin bundles go on sale and which bundles typically get a sale?

If you've been burning on the inside for some intense 3v3 fighting game action, your wait is about to get a little more bearable. That's because THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV demo will be available on the PlayStation Store worldwide on July 19 for the Americas/Europe and July 20 for Asia! Players will finally be able to slake their burning KOF thirst by test driving seven characters (Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui, Iori Yagami, Sylvie Paula Paula, King of Dinosaurs, Shun'ei, and Nelson) before the game launches. While the demo won't have online functionality, local versus mode will be available. Oh, and the demo will also come with a free dynamic PS4 theme! With series first 3D graphics, updated gameplay such as a complete overhaul to Combos and MAX Mode, and more, the demo will show just how much SNK has evolved the nearly 22 year old franchise.

Have held off from buying it on PC for a very long while now... any new word on Darkest Dungeon? Last I read was it was pushed back to late July/August. Has there been anything beyond that?

If that's the time period they were targeting, it would be possible that it's a part of the upcoming PSN Play lineup that'll be announced on Tuesday.

Does anyone else read those game descriptions in Colin Moriarty's voice from Kinda Funny? Some of those write ups are horrendous, but I am still interested in the games..

So Dead Rising is coming to :ps4:, talk about random. No release date yet, I hope it's not a shit port and it's actually remastered. I never did finish it on :360:. Cool for the people who didn't have a :360: and never played it.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is coming to :ps4: too. The trophy list leaked for that, supposed to be getting the first one too. Those I never played.

MUA was awesome, I believe I got all the achievements for that. MUA 2 I never played but I heard a lot of bad things about and I think there was DLC that got expired due to licensing that caused other issues. Wonder how that will work?

Dead rising is a steaming turd, no idea why anyone holds any fond memories of it.

Beat both MUA games. Very good. if they do digital releases of them on PS4, I am all in.

Boy I'd respectfully disagree. I thought DR2 expanded on it nicely, but it didn't entirely recapture the unforgiving nature of the first. There is a clockwork kind of beauty to that game that reminds of Dark Souls. It's weird, it's flawed, but it's great IMO... and it's one of the first games I think of when I think of games that defined that console generation.

I admit I'm extremely hard on that game because escort missions to me are the worst part of modern gaming.

I remember ordering Dead Rising and ditching school the day it arrived because I was so excited to play it.

I should have gone to school

I hate escort missions as well but I still have very good memories of DR1. I'm totally on board for the PS4 version as long as the port is good.
escort missions are evil. Outside the one in arc the lad 4 I've found them nothing but trouble. Especially the ones in some of the fire emblems.

I might look into the DR1 port, if they'll tweak the damn save system.

On a more related note, here's hoping for a good sale this week, but it'll probably just wind up being publisher-themed.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this lineup looks dumb:

Play-2016-Lineup-Ann.jpg

Headlander

Adult Swim Games and acclaimed studio Double Fine team up to bring you Headlander, a ’70s-sci-fi-inspired platformer. Play as a disembodied human head that takes over bizarre robot bodies in a retro-futuristic “utopia” ruled by a deranged computer.

Abzu

Abzu is a beautiful, dreamy underwater adventure. Immerse yourself in a vibrant, hidden world that’s bursting with life but beware as you swim deeper – dangers lurk in the mysterious depths.

Brut@l

Choose your hero – Ranger, Mage, Warrior, or Amazon – then descend into a dangerous world constructed entirely from ASCII characters. Weapon crafting, potion brewing, and local 2P multiplayer will help you survive the onslaught of enemies in these unique dungeons.

Bound

Developed exclusively for PlayStation 4 by Plastic, the team behind innovative titles like Linger In Shadows and Datura, Bound is a 3D platformer that combines a unique visual style with a powerful story and gameplay mechanics infused with modern dance.

Can't wait for them all to be PS+ or 70% off. Anyone who buys a Double Fine or Adult Swim game at full price deserves what they get.

Yeah, Headlander sounds like a game I'll play the crap out of once it's free on PS+ (or in a Humble Bundle).

Abzu sounds interesting, but I don't know about the other two.

Usually there's 1 or 2 in the play lineup that are ports of games that got rave reviews on PC or Xbox but these are all out of left field for me, can't preorder any of them without seeing gameplay and reviews

I dislike the "follow the other person while driving" type missions more. There was a motorcycle mission in GTA IV that made me want to punch myself.

It seems like Lego Avengers ought to be at least a little cheaper by now (for a sale price).
