Thanks

He's actually selling them for $25 for retail version of pro win10
In general - usually, OEM Windows versions are mobo/CPU-tied; you can't call M$ for free tech support (you have to pay for it); and you pick b/t either 32-bit or 64-bit editions (you don't get both).

I don't know if there's other W10 specific extra stipulations on their OEM versions - but, that should be the gist of it, for the most part.

System builders often go OEM versions to save some $.

And I wouldn't touch those Windows 10 keys with a 10 foot pole. Who knows where they came from, and who knows if you'll be stuck with a cancelled license. Microsoft already fucked all Windows 10 Pro users by removing features, they really don't give a damn.

I'm a little bummed out that the Titanfall 2 testing won't be on PC. Now I have to dust off a ps4 or XB1 and trip over my own thumbs to play it.

That... was amazing.

EDIT: and of course, the House of the Dead 2 voice work that Blade posted is epic. But I've seen that multiple times (and played the game back in the day) so it's not as fresh.

Yeah, Chaos Wars is the absolute worst. I think I might own that game...

This is quality, this is what gaming should be to this day.

I'm not joking either, I always thought the silly dialogue and voice acting was a ongoing joke for each game

I don't even own XBL or PS+ to play the testing.

Honestly wish they would change testing to allow all users.

Holy crap @ those beasts. Those looks awesome, but ultra-expensive.

For gaming laptops & travelling needs: I think I'll just stick with my Acer Nitro V gaming laptop (i7 Haswell; 4GB 960M; 16 GB RAM; W10), thanks. Most games for me are at with Medium Settings at 900p or 1080p with either 30FPS/60FPS on my 15 1/2 inch monitor, which will depend per game (of course).

EDIT:
@CAG Boards
Okay, I've been thinking about going SSD for quite some time.
So, what are some recommendations people have for SSD's around here?

I just recently picked up a 500GB 850 EVO. I put off getting an SSD for so long, but now that I've used one I can't see myself going back.

With today's server update, it should now be possible for Steamworks partners to revoke your own CD keys. If your Steam account has CD key management rights, you should have a menu item to Ban keys, under the Tools dropdown.

At this time, revoking keys should only be done for fraud cases. Customers are shown a specific message when their CD key has been revoked. Also you can only revoke a maximum of 200 keys per batch. This limit is mostly to prevent possible load issues, as we need to check that each key is valid and associated with the account that is trying to revoke them.

And finally, be smart about revoking CD keys. We cannot undo any bad revokes that may happen, so only ban keys that you are absolutely sure should be banned.
How long until some random indie developer abuse this?

pls positive review or i revoke u.

-40% for 30€ / $whatever.

That's quite low price even for Squeenix.
Well that's just great. I pre-ordered this for $43 back in late July (thanks to a "we miss you coupon"), and now it's $36? What's worse is I don't think I can request a refund. One of the stipulations is that it has to be at least 48 hours before release or preload begins, and preload for this game starts tomorrow.

Oh well.

Saw this on steamgifts...

Gleam is now banning Steam Groups from doing giveaways.  Developers can still do giveaways though.

I don't want to make you sad but it's already been as low as $32, and I'll probably regret buying it at that price when it hits $20 in three weeks. We can then revel in each other's sadness.

Contact them.

I've been in a similar position with them and while I didn't get a full refund, they did refund the difference.

The bros played The Forest last night and it was the best survival game night the bros have had.  We had a full house for the whole time and even had to turn down some bros because the server was full (8 person limit on the co-op).  We built shitty log cabins and were almost done with a nice beachfront gazebo when we had to call it a night.  Lots of dirty cannibals were killed and eaten.

Tonight is Evolve, which is F2P now so if you are interested queue that download up now since it is 19GBs.

I was denied entry to The Forest but I lurked in Discord and listened in while I played No Man's Sky.

All in all I really enjoyed the time I spent not playing The Forest. Seems like a pretty cool game about getting/giving heads, falling in holes, turtle meat, and logs that float.

Oh boy, another early access open-world survival game

Except this time, it's being co-developed by the guys taking their sweat ass time on Serious Sam 4
I'm firmly on the "too-many-open-world-survival-games-bandwagon" but I think I'll hold my judgement until I see more.

One of the developers is behind Gas Guzzlers, which is a pretty well-regarded racing/combat game. The other is Croteam. Serious Sam, man, Serious Sam! Even though they have been largely the same game, I have had a hilariously good time in each.

Lastly, the prison riot angle sounds pretty intriguing. The only thing that would make it better would be to add zombies. Maybe zombie prisoners.

Strong developer roots, a smart gamer friendly publisher who publish games I regularly like and an interesting concept. Bit hard to hate on it yet.

It takes place on a penal colony, so the open world makes sense in that respect. It will be interesting to see how it develops. It sounds like a "Running Man/The Condemned/Hunger Games" sort of concept as "producers" and "gifts from corporate sponsors" are mentioned in the PR thing. The Culling already does that, but Ive not played that yet.

That said, it could end up one of those games where you get killed within minutes of joining and becomes full of trolls, but remains to be seen. Balance is really important with these games or it'll end up with a small diehard community and no room for casuals.

They just released some more info and some screens

https://scumgame.com/2016/08/18/story-we-got-that-and-a-lot-more/

Players take the role of the convict who is about to be dropped onto the island to fight for his/her life by participating as a new-age gladiator in the cruel horror reality show called SCUM. Surrounded by a hostile environment, even more hostile online players and hordes of AI “puppets”controlled by the TV network, players will have to find a way to get away from the island and join the rebellion forces. To earn your freedom, players will have to make alliances with other convicts, explore the island and exploit its resources, uncover hidden secrets and survive.

New avatard Dick? thats a really good picture of Fox's mom

Valve blocks gleam URLs.

Gleam blocks Steam users/groups from creating giveaways.

Valve gives devs access to revoke tool.

Worst part of survival games is everyone else. That's just true facts.

What changed with the revoke tool?

Didn't devs always have access to revoke keys?
I think previously devs could send batches of keys to Valve and ask them to revoke, but now the devs can do it themselves. Not much of a practical difference in the end but it does become another potential avenue for abuse/blackmailing (as rare as that is) like madjoki pointed out

Eh, if it's like the Culling or even Rust for that matter, I will likely hold out on SCUM until it's nice and dead and bundled, so the bros can enjoy it by themselves without too many randoms or trolls.

I'm a loner in most of these open world survival games so these ones that force you to interact or give too much incentive for others to kill you are not my thing.

Also, can you guys believe the bros are over a year old and going even stronger than ever?  I'm sure you all though we'd blow up in some huge in-fighting argument and be dead by now.  Well, we've come close, but thankfully we stopped being dumbasses before it got too far.

Here's to another year of shitty games and good company.

They had to manually speak to thier Valve contact and get them to get their ass up and revoke keys.
Ah, yeah... I can't wait to get all my keys revoked! It'll really cut down on the backlog!

Damn! I missed the GMG Deus Ex: MD glitch.  :whistle2:(

I probably would've bought it at that price and played it on release. Oh well. Now I'll have to wait like everyone else for the next round of opportunity on an AMD Newegg glitch. Although, even that seems less likely with how they've priced it. So now I'll have to wait for the Squeenix price drop off. What a world, what a world.
