Hey bros,

Tonight we play Rust, a game where your penis size is reflective of your penis size IRL.  So if you don't show up I will assume it is because you have a tiny micro-penis and are ashamed.  So show up.

So, being I'm trying to finally beat DA:O (since I got 20 hours into it when it came out and never went back), is it worth it to plop down $7.50 for Utlimate Edition? Know it is in the Origin Vault but it'd be very unlikely I'd finish the game in a month.

It depends. If you have a small penis, don't buy it. If you have a big penis, buy it.

ok gift me the game so I can play pls. promise.

If I don't make it to Rust tonight it's only because I have to take care of my son. So by the shear fact of his very existence you know that at least my penis works properly.

Edit: what I'm trying to say is that you can Rust assured that everything works fine!

WTF? Amazon actually has some good deals on right now.

WWE 2K16 is $10

Animation Arts Bundle is $12.50

Transformers: War for Cybertron

Broforce

Call of Duty Warchest (Call of Duty, Call of Duty United Offensive and Call of Duty 2)

Prototype 2

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines
Glad you changed that, cuz your initial definition of "good" was pretty horrible.

Actually, it's still pretty horrible. $30 for 10-year-old COD games? What do we look like, peasants?

Barrier X is really good. It's like Race the Sun on speed.

You might still be able to pick it up in an Indie Gala Indie Explorer Happy Hour bundle if you haven't yet.

OK, back to trying to beat my best time on it.

No idea. I got it free with all that crap on Steam and don't bother to play it... sooo... just saying that it was free. Which.. is as good a CAG gets without giving us our money back... :p
If console gamers got 2K16 for free, but no Season Pass (especially if the SP isn't on sale) - well, I think PC version for $10 on Amazon would be the better buy since it comes w/ everything.

Plus, you know - PC version also has mods and better graphics & bells + whistles.

I think it is. The game has a ton of dlc, and while some of it is just not worth playing at all (darkspawn chronicles), and some is mediocre, some is decent. Even still, I would say no, but then it also comes with the Awakening expansion which is great, and arguably worth the 7.50 on its own.

DAO Awakening [expansion] is very good - basically, Awakening is 30 hours more DAO; so you can't go wrong w/ that.

For DLC's - Leilana's Song + Witch Hunt are both very good.

There's 3 good reasons to go Ultimate.

EDIT:

Does your DAO base-game come w/ The Stone Prisoner DLC?

(Early retail copies upon the game's release back in the day did come w/ that DLC - so, I'm not sure if Steam comes with it for DAO base-game owners; that's why I'm asking).

Shale's a pretty good tank type of character - so if Shale DLC isn't in the DAO base-game on Steam, there's another reason to go Ultimate.

Stone Prisoner is a free DLC now.  It says "Buy now" but then costs zero Bioware points.  Even if you just buy the base game, be sure to go download it if it doesn't just come with the game.

[Edit: According to Steam: Dragon Age Origins features Blood Dragon Armor & The Stone Prisoner]

Return to Ostagar has some nice plot related moments and also some armor that's good for most of the game.  Warden's Keep is mainly useful for more twinky armor and a storage chest but you can easily mod a storage chest into your campsite anyway.  I think (if I'm remembering right) that Warden's Keep is necessary to learn Blood Magic.

It's also not free on Xbone when it's just a half-boner consolation prize for having to pay for online play.
Dude, I found this awesome deal where you pay Humble Bundle $12 a month and they give you awesome free games like SOMA. I don't want it getting around because they might fix it so PM me for details :ziplip: :whistle2:#

The bros played Rust tonight and I am not going to publicly shame those with a micro-penis that didn't show up, but let's just say that Peter Parker's web shooter must be tiny.

It was fun for what it is.  Not sure it has much going for it other than being the first big survival game to hit, but it's not a bad game if you have the time to invest in it.  We spent most of the time trying to find each other, taking pictures of our penises, and then dying by starvation, bears, and other players.

Rust has come a long, long way since I last played it.  That's mainly a good thing although it's more complicated now and harder to figure out how to get started.  But it looks much nicer, the map is tons better and there's a lot more going on.  On the negative side, it's still very much a straight PVP game so unless you're killing or being killed by people there's not much to do.  It's also pretty ridiculous to find people (on the map) on a casual basis and most of us spent a lot of time wandering alone.

I think Ark is a better all-around game owing to its PVE component making it a more complete experience but Rust has come a long way.

I never before felt like I had accomplished so much by simply putting on a pair of pants!

It's important for me to know that I can keep my Humble garbage forever, even if my subscription ends. That kind of comfort is important to me. When I'm lying on my death bed thinking about the thousands of trash games I never played, it's the trash games that got away when my Gold membership lapsed that will thoroughly corrode my soul and haunt me for eternity.

I saw a giveaway for Bitdefender 2016 AV via failmid. It's a good AV solution and you get a free license for 6 months.

And yet, this is what we choose to play.

Edit:

Also, saw I had a Feist 75% off coupon and Feist was 50% off and thought "This will be bundled, but if the coupon stacks, why not use some gabenbux on it?"

Then turns out the coupon is for the regular version, which isn't on sale and the version on sale is the deluxe with soundtrack so the coupon doesn't apply. Silly devs.

Have you come across any good mods for it?

That guy has made other games so he's not exactly new to this but he seems genuinely befuddled with how Steam/Valve works. He seems like he keeps trying to do the right thing though so it's hard to think poorly of him. All the guy ever wanted to do was make a silly game about raptors.

Yeah, plus I got my refund Monday with no issue so I'm not sure it's a widespread problem.

It's widespread, it's just a new bug. If you requested a refund before a certain point, it went through fine. My guess is the change didn't happen until it was officially f2p on the store page.. so sometime on tuesday.
