Is anyone else's Rocket League on Xbox One completely leggy since the new Rumble update? It's not completely unplayable but totally annoying.

Your idea is sound but doesn't specifically apply to CoD. CoD is the only big shooter series that has always stuck to 60 FPS on consoles so they won't necessarily be affected by that mandate. Battlefield has also been at 60 since current gen started. Overall it sounds worse that I think it would actually be. Single player or maybe co-op stuff might get a bump, but even then most console devs seem to go for more graphical detail over framerate, unless they offer options like Rise of the Tomb Raider is or Last of Us Remastered did.

It is a dumb rule but I kind of get it. It's hard to say if this kind of rule would be a negative on Scorpio, since most of our shooters have actually been targeting 60 for multiplayer already, like Halo 5, MCC, Gears Ultimate and Gears 4, this goes along with the EA shooters, CoD, and Overwatch. The only big multiplatform game that sticks to 30 FPS now is Destiny, so it's the only one I see making choices when Destiny 2 finally comes around. The real question for us would probably be resolution. Halo 5 and Overwatch have dynamic resolutions so they would just automatically be better, but Battlefield runs at lower than 1080p. Destiny was actually patched to 1080p once Kinect was dropped, but that's a universal case unlike Scorpio.

 
So I have Xcom 2 digitally pre-ordered. Noticed it no longer said pre-ordered and tried it. Currently playing Xcom 2 and achievements are working. Streaming on Twitch didn't seem to work though

It's good. It's XCOM, so if you like the series you'll like the game. They've definitely added more mission variety.

I've actually played a few more hours on PC than I have on Xbox, on PC there's a ridiculous difficulty spike early on due to one of the enemy types, and I'm wondering if it was left really difficult on consoles, or if they nerfed that enemy type a bit.

Anyone know when the ReCore review embargo lifts? I honestly don't care if the game looks like literal hell if it plays fine. I played enough N64 3D platformers so I am ok with shitty looking games and I want to order it asap if the game is good.

Not exactly sure what they are called but they are the
Viper/Snake men
. Not completely sure if it was them, or an enemy that appears shortly after them, but I remember they could completely fuck up you strategy during a fight. I'm double checking my PC save to see which enemies they were for sure.

Would also love to see them do MOD support for XCOM the same way they are for fallout and Skyrim

Also the PC version looks way better than console

Probably not until Monday night or release day. You can Google "Recore Reddit" and if you change the search time to "last 24 hours" you can find a big thread with a couple of posts from guys who got early copies. Early word seems to be pretty positive. Someone said the loading times were really bad but he was outed as a Sony fanboy and summarily dismissed.

Been playing since day one. Easily my GOTY so far and I am at level 123. I play on PC but still such a good game either way you play it.

I don't think it's really live yet. From what I was told last night it says I'm at the home screen not Xcom2, I can't stream, and my screenshots/clips aren't showing up on my feed. I am however earning achievements. I'm sure they'll patch it in a few days so I can't play til release day, but I'm getting as much as I can in now

It's XCOM 2 so it's a day 1 buy obviously, I'm just not sure which console to get it for.

Honestly, it doesn't look amazing, especially compared to the PC version. But it does seem to run pretty well. The load times when heading out to a mission are kinda long. I'm sure there will be more patches at release to smooth things up, there was an update the other day and that seems to be the one that messed things up and let me play. I just played for another hour and a half and Woulda kept playing if football wasn't on now.

The actual gameplay is top notch and the small things they added to the missions and combat make it very enjoyable. The base building and overworld mechanics are very well done and enjoyable. Basically it's a no brainer for anyone who's a fan of the genre

The actual gameplay is top notch and the small things they added to the missions and combat make it very enjoyable. The base building and overworld mechanics are very well done and enjoyable. Basically it's a no brainer for anyone who's a fan of the genre

When you say added, do you mean for console or for the sequel in general. I'm thinking of going for it on PC since it is cheaper.

In general, I don't think any gameplay mechanics or anything were added for consoles. I don't seem to have any recollection of any of the cutscenes from the PC version so at first I thought maybe they fleshed those out more, but it's doubtful.

I bought it for consoles after already owning it on PC because I'm stupid, and I'd rather play on my big screen on the couch than at my PC desk. If that doesn't matter to you PC is definitely the way to go, it's cheaper, looks better, you have M/KB support and mods. Just be aware that if you were for some reason planning on PC with a controller it only supports the steam controller

Maybe. But the other video I watched with the supposed 'patch" was still around 40+ seconds. 40-42-46 to be exact. There's quite a few areas this guy goes into and it hits that load screen.

I'm just poking fun at either way. I definitely still have interest in the game but I'm waiting on reviews.

I have ReCore already too and definitely am more of an Xbox guy, the loading still takes forever for me AFTER the patch, so I don't know why it was proven false, the game seems awesome and fun, but yeah the loads aren't great atm.

 
Preordering Pac-Man from Amazon will make you wait 2 extra days?

It looks like the earliest we can start the download is 8pm tonight, but the timezone wasn't specified. I don't even care if there's an in-game bonus - I just want to explore the Outback.

 
Is the Forza Demo really 18 Gigs? If so I am out because 18 Gigs is too much for a demo on a 250 GB Cap.

Now with that said, I already know what to expect from FH3 so don't really need to play the demo.
