So, yesterday was my birthday, and like your favorite retail store, that means you're getting the gifts. Much like with your favorite retail store, the gifts are mostly terrible things you don't want (arguably slightly better than 10% off your next purchase coupons), but, hey, that's how I roll.

I already owned all the games (and I didn't want the movie), so I didn't grab anything. Thanks for the drop though.

P.S. spellcheck suggested Belabored and I kept it because it made me chuckle. I'm a simple man.

We couldn't quite figure out how to do competitive events against each other, but co-oping the missions with your crew was essentially doing competitive events with the added advantage that a win by anyone on the crew counted as a win for you in the story. Will have to read up on how to do events with your crew. Not sure if we have to advance the story more or we just didn't know what we were doing.

Yea, this is pretty much dead on. I think the game is pretty boring despite the impressiveness of the map. Just doing story missions over again was not interesting. It didnt matter who won as long as one of us did. I had fun with the event but the game experience was exceptionally shallow. The UI for the game doesn't do it any favors either.

Okay, just to mix it up, I'm going to do this this way:

Sorry for missing the The Crew event last night, I was busy when it went live. :( I did reach a point in the game where PVP / PVE events are unlocked, and I actually won!

... the fact my car was already beefed up helped a bit. I think.

Also that GMG link posted here refuses to load for me. The site works, that link does not, it just hangs.

Bad news, guys. I think Russian airspace is now a no-fly zone.

I'm trying to book tickets for my flight but it seems you can only get Putin-priced tickets from within Putinland. Using the US store doesn't carry over the itinerary I selected from the Putin store. This is before logging in.

Dont be tempted by that GMG EGX mystery pack, I was dumb and weak and grabbed it and got chainsaw warrior, which not only is cheaper at RRP but is also on sale on their own site atm. Shitty even for GMG.

Been meaning to some day, but already have too many adventure games (if I recall correctly, they're adventure games) to get through as it is.

I posted this in the Groupees thread but for more exposure, and an attempt to get 50 more sales  8-[

I found a pretty good use of the $1 Golden Chatbot coin, pick 3 games from the lowest tier of the Alawar bundle on Groupees and you'll get the first bonus game, plus there's only 50 more sales to get a 2nd bonus. If that unlocks before bundle's end that'll be 5 Steam keys for your Groupee's coin. They'll probably all have cards too.

Granted, I'm running an antiquated version of IdleMaster but has anyone else had problems connecting if you do the speed-cycling trick?  If I cycle through my games quickly and restart IM, it doesn't actually seem to connect a second time.  Looking at my Steam profile will only show me as online and not in a game.  I have to restart both Steam and IM and log in from scratch to connect again.

Yup. Same here, using the last release of IM. I usally just stop before the last game and reset the idling order and that seems to work alright.

Nope, but Idle Master has been known to be buggy. I wish ASF had a decent skip feature, cuz the only good reason to use IM is for the card glitch.

I don't know what version I'm running, but I don't have issues. I never restart. I cycle through the the games until they are done, then quickly switch the idle order from default to the next one, cycle, then change back to default. I keep doing that and get my cards usually with no issue. Every now and then they don't want to drop so I just wait and try again.

 
Truth be told, I don't know if my version even HAS an option to reset card order.  It's pretty old, dating back to the "pre-sell out" days.  It is a version with a real UI though since the old, old command prompt version no longer works.

Guess I should upgrade.  I held off back when everyone was freaking out about IM being run by Russian CS:GO smugglers.
