The new thread format will be a work in progress but this first post will be the promos that are active and useful information, but also wikified. The second post will currently be frequently asked questions but may move it into the first post. Post three will be historical trade-in values from before the list.

My last set of boomerangs looked so bad. One disc looked like a child barfed on it. Luckily, the GameStop down the street gave as few fucks as the one I got them at.
 
I somehow looked up the wrong Bad Company 2, my bad folks. Thanks Blackbeard, you allowed me to double my investment!

Thanks Blackbeard.  I did a decent flip in about an hour.  I feel a bit bad about this one because surely Gamestop got hacked or had an angry employee (or someone forgot their glasses).  The last (much bigger) time I flipped about $900 credit from store to store (over about 3 days) but I didn't feel bad about that one, probably cause that's the way they chose to set up their system.

 
Saw that LEGO Star Wars 3 3ds has a TIV of $16.50 so I traded my copy and bought BF, Nike Kinect, and another Kinect game and traded them in later and got $22 cash and bought GTA 5 for ps4 elsewhere. So in other words, I traded in Lego Star Wars 3 on 3ds for GTA V on ps4.

 
Thanks for the replies. Still mad that I got hit with so many refurb charges. I'll just haunt that store with my $5 preorder and make them get extra copies of every CE.

Honestly unless your disc looks like complete shit, just take it back. Odds are the next store will take them in. Maybe give them a little polish with your shirt to take out any fingerprints or dust.

nice work! I would have had similar success but my ID'd account somehow banned at the first store. And then the only close non ID store really had computer problems. So no trades just have a bunch of games right now...

Thanks, I actually competely forgot to clean them before trading them in, but that guy was a picky prick as well. I also had to do the $5 pre-order and there weren't other stores too close nearby so I just sucked it up. But yeah, I'll plan ahead accordingly next time.
 
I might get banned soon, I didn't go over any limits but you never know. fuck it tho, shit was worth it. #FlipForHarambe

Yeah my alternate is banned right now so I used that account to buy all the games. My main got all the trade points while my alt got all the purchase points! Lmao it's weird I just thought about how I pretty much have 2 different identities lol

Did they actually type any info into the system from it?

I've had stores before just check my ID to make sure it matches what the PUR account shows, but not actually enter any info from the ID into the system.

Yeah I'm used to them just confirming it's me when I'm trading in for store credit. This lady actually typed in my DL# though.
 
Wow I didn't even look at this thread today for some reason. Hoping they hold to tomorrow! So bizarre that they are paying a ton for shovelware and pennies for games like FE and MK8.
 
Well since moving to CA I'm back in the flipping game. Between flips from redbox and best buy this weekend and then the boomerangs today I'm up to about $500 made this month.

The only part that sucks is that they charge tax on trade credit here.
 
i just came back from 2 weeks in the Philippines. Seems like the ball is rolling again for flips. GG for those that capitalized.

I took $90 in credit and made about $110 profit. Bought a $35 ihop giftcard and took my lady friend out to dinner. Thanks gamestop for the free dinner and $70+ left.

 
4 copies per platform. In a rolling 30 day period. Only one per platform per transaction. YMMV if you try to do same bane different platform in one transaction. I have never had that problem. But I don't do more than two.
 
Damn :( No more free money! Oh well on to the next GS fuckup! It sucks they can never have good values straight up. Always gotta be some bonus or weekend bump or something.
