Gah, I've barely scratched the surface of Horizon 3 and Mafia comes out next week. Then Battlefield 1 2 weeks after that. I want to play them all so badly and I don't want them to get backlogged. I don't have time for this!

Maybe it takes a few days to reflect? I bought a GoW UE code from someone here on CAG and redeemed it and it shows for me. Not sure where the origin of that code came from though.

Another successful refund from thelorderic.  It only took about an hour for him to respond today.  I sure am glad I didn't go with another seller that had no reputation to worry about protecting.  Thanks guys for pointing out the revoke licenses here.  I probably wouldn't have noticed this until much closer to release date and who knows whether the refund would have been as easy then as it is now.

 
So all those people that bought Nvidia codes for gears 4 and already redeemed them are.getting their preorders cancelled? Thought as long as you entered the code before they stopped accepting the codes you were good? Glad I didn't get a code if this is the case.

Only one of my refunds has gone through with lorderic. He said he did them both, but only one reflects it

Also last night Cobra, Stryker, Myself and a gamenight newbie named Echogod played some Horizon 3. Was pretty fun overall, Cobra and myself were way higher level, but I think everyone went up like 15 levels.

Gonna play some Vermintide beta tonight if it's still active if anyone wants to join. Probably like 10pm est

Unfortunately, this is who I used as well. I placed my dispute yesterday and unlike yours, it didn't automatically escalate though I chose to do that today after seeing that they deleted their reddit account. Paypal says they've got ten days to respond to me, we'll see. I can't imagine that paypal would release their funds in the week since I ordered, unless someone here knows otherwise. Good thing I picked payments and services.

That site is missing a few recent game purchases for me including Earthlock and FH3. FH3 doesn't show I own it on xbox.com but the console store says I own it as does the Windows store. Seems to happen from time to time with stuff.

I did as well, need to dispute my charge. I made sure not to send friends and family in-case this situation occurred.

I haven't experienced any expired 360 codes that haven't worked including extra dl content. 360 codes don't seem to be as strict as PS3 codes. If you do get please update me on whether it works or not.

 
Does anyone know if the Gamestop Gears 4 Xbox bundle is on disc or digital?  The website has little info on it other than generic Xbox One S boilerplate.  I'm trying to decide if I should wait on it or take advantage of the deal that ends today for a free game.  I'm also concerned since the release date shows 11/1 but i'm hoping that's just a place-holder.

It's always disc at Gamestop, they don't do codes anymore.

it will probably be a physical copy. I just bought the madden Xbox one s bundle with trade credit and mine came with a physical copy. The box was sealed with a sticker but you can tell it was opened to insert the physical copy inside the sleeve where the code would be. Gamestop is against bundles with download codes cause you can't trade those in.

Knew that this was coming with the Gears codes. Good luck on people getting refunds, but this was a caveat emptor situation. I hope someone will be left for me to play with next week. :)

You can check the code's validity on xbox.com before you commit to redeeming it. it basically says "you are about to redeem..." and then you have to click confirm before it is actually redeemed.

 
What's the deal with get a free game when you purchase a new X1 console at Target. Were people able to preorder the Gears 2TB and get the $180 Rockband?  Just wondering since coupon expires today

 
Microsoft has really turned their online store into a shit show.  I had some bing points that I redeemed for a $5 card and then it applied it to my second account even though I logged out several times before logging back into my main account.  Now I am trying to use that $5 but it never shows up on the store page even though my account says it is there.  What a pain.

 
For those of you purchased a gears code on ebay are creating a claim as item not received, item not as described or just putting it through paypal directly?

They don't remove the data off your console, they just remove the license from your account. No license means that data is worthless.

Try to launch the game (i.e. press A).

Either you will be told that the game hasn't yet been released (good!) or you will get the error message stating that you do not own the game (bad!).

I got a 1TB Madden bundle for $215 shipped. The glitch allowed some people to order the $250 version of RB4 and cancel it for around $145 discount off of the total order. The people who ordered the Gears version still have pending orders and none have been canceled that I've heard.

Horizon 3 I think is way more addictive than Horizon 2. It kinda bugs me I've been playing it most of the day and it's reminding me I'm 2% towards final. I don't need a reminder of how much is in the game and how much time it's going to take from me. May have to test the internet windows 10 streaming and seeing if my connection is good enough to stream to office during lunch.

Ahh, yeah says preorder was cancelled or refunded. Oh well.

Anyone can comment on Forza Horizon 3? wondering if I'll like it, I enjoyed the first game but the marketing in this one makes it look like it's a lot of off-roading going on. I'm more into just free-driving fast cars on the open roads so wondering if it still has a lot of that, or is it more objective-based, off road driving like it seems in trailers? Thanks

 
Does anybody have the problem that I'm having in FH3 where the game picture exceeds your tv screen size? I can't find an option to bring the screen in a bit on all four sides so that text doesn't get cut off...like most games give you the option to do.

I mean, the real situation here is your crappy TV, but yeah, most games do tend to have that option.

Haha yeah, it's a 48" 1080p Samsung...just got married, so I can't swing a tv upgrade right now. It's going to be annoying if they don't have a screen size adjust in game.
 
Heads up guys my Best Buy had those $50 for 45 card sets (15 + 15 + 15 + 5 bonus) cards. If you buy 2 you also get 15% off on the second. Only annoying thing is having to enter 8 different codes in but this is one thing the Kinect is great for, you can plug them into a QR generator and have the Kinect scan them.

 
So does Lost Odyssey hold up well today? There's only one local GS that has one and everywhere within 100 miles is sold out and it's going for $40 everywhere it seems.

Absolutely. Especially with the frame rate improvements the Xbox One version has. It plays like a modern Final Fantasy X, but with a amazing and heart-wrenching story. I absolutely recommend to anyone that enjoys JRPGs. I will be giving it another full playthrough on Xbox One.
