Hey, have you (or anyone here for that matter) used the ME2 character import utility tool when starting a new game? I've got all my saves in the cloud, including the one from early this year when I beat ME1 on XB1 but all I get is the "No character data found" error message. However, if I try to import another ME2 save (like if I was doing a NG+ playthrough), they're all there.

In other words, I can't use my XB1 ME1 save on ME2.

Any ideas, suggestions, tips?

Soo I went to my 360 download history on my 360 console today...aaand whenever I choose a title that I already bought there is no redownload option instead it wants me to charge for every title I already own...anyone else experience this?

Live was having issues. I had to go redownload a game from the site.

 
Steep is fun so far. It's pretty free-form with you being able to switch between skis, snowboard, wing suit, and parachuting most of the time. And you can set up new races or trick runs. 

I don't know if it would hold attention for a long time unless you're playing with friends, but I do like the laid back vibes it has rather than overflowing with "cool" like some games do. I think being stuck to more realistic tricks could be make or break for some people. It does have a lot of personality.

I got into the last closed beta they had. Downloaded it and never touched it. Just was not in the mood at all. Looked like it had almost a Forza Horizon vibe? Where it is super pretty and great to look at and you are also kind of playing a game. I would say I might try the beta tonight or tomorrow.. but well... you know. Mass Effect.

You can save some cash and get a converter. There is the Cronus Max, Titan One, and Brooks Super Converters. The Brooks is what the fighting game community usually uses. It is updated regularly so it doesn't get timed out when using it on PS4. Check it out on focus attack.com

I stuck gold today at Target. They allowed me to use the Cartwheel promo to get Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 digitally for $35 each. They were out of BF1 vanilla digital copies so they sold me the deluxe at 45% off.

Is there a way to upgrade Titanfall 2 to the deluxe edition, like you can with Star Wars Battlefront? I found a deluxe upgrade code on some random shady key site when I Googled it, but i can't tell if it's legit. It's also $25 there which is almost as much as I paid for the game itself.

Not really similar at all. I tried the Steep Beta last night for about 20 minutes. Could not get into it. I really wanted it to be good since Infinite Air (the other new snowboarding game) is supposed to stink.

Steep's map UI is very busy, way too much crap on there. And I just didn't really get the point of the actual gameplay. Might be better with friends though.

 
The thread is long dead so I thought I would ask here.  Ordered Far Cry Primal from Gamefly on Oct 29th and it shipped Oct 31st. It had not arrived by Nov 9th so I put in a request for a refund which they granted.  Well it actually showed up today.  Anyone know what to do?  Do I just contact them again to let them know they should actually charge me?

 
Japan-only demo of Final Fantasy XV just came out. Its the first 90 minutes or so of the game. No English options but you can download it in the US like normal.

As for Steep, I haven't played Horizion 3 but I think it is the same kind of vibes and style of interacting with the game, like Broly asked. The game isn't screaming "LOOK AT HOW COOL I AM" (and failing) like many of other Ubisoft games (Watch Dogs 2, The Crew). The only other snowboarding games I've really played are the old SSXs and the reboot, and it doesn't feel like any of those. No SSX/Tony Hawk-esque insane tricks. I think actual snowboarders and skiers might like it? 

The UI is kind of trash, but I think if they speed it up and made it a bit clearer it would be fine. I don't think it's going to too particularly well, it's only chance is that no similar games are coming soon. There isn't a ton left to release this year but it still has FFXV, Watch Dog 2, and Dead Rising 4 to compete with.

Personally I probably wouldn't buy it until it hits $20, but I think it could be a GWG too.

fuck them and fuck publishers with those "exclusive" farce. Them and Amazon always do this, they even do that with the One S color variations.

Well I think my xbone slim just took a crap. I get no signal threw the hdmi. I see videos of putting it in low rez mode on youtube by holding the eject and power button at the same time but that doesn't seem to work on the slim.

Haven't touched or moved the system, tried switching hdmi cables, plugging the power source into a new outlet, had everything unplugged for about an hour. And it won't shut off by just pressing the power button, has to be held for 5 seconds and force the shut down. 

idk any suggestions? All I can find is the eject/power trick.

edit:

now I'm getting a picture but it's stuck at the green xbox boot screen. I'm like two days withing the return window, think I'm a exchange this bad boy later on.

Decided to try out Mirror's Edge Catalyst since it's in the Vault. Really doesn't seem as bad as many made it out to be. The parkour is fun at least.

Def not, same and if I could utilize EA Access I'd be playing it in the Vault but I grabbed that game a few months ago when it had a price drop.
