I am looking for a ps platinum or the Kingston Cloud II. Plugging into the controller is not the end of the world for me. Open to suggestions as well. Thanks!

If you're on PS4, get the Hyperx Cloud II. They come with a USB box that plugs into the front of your PS4. Then you plug the headset into it. Sounds way better than connecting to the controller, and the box has a mic mute button on it that's handy for online play. It will also work plugged directly into the controller if you choose to. Also works on PC and Xbox One. Last Black Friday I got one for 67 dollars at Amazon. No idea if they'll do the same this year or not. Hyperx has an even cheaper model now that costs 49.99 and sounds as good as the Cloud 2 imo. It's just not as strongly built. I'd avoid anything made by Sony. Their shit always breaks.

I'm looking for some myself too.

Yeah, I didn't think the Platinums were out yet, and if they were, the Golds would plummet in price. The Golds are $70-60 I think at Gamestop on BF. I'll probably just go for the Uncharted Golds once they start dropping.

This thread lasted longer than Goldberg/Lesner 2.

Hi there friend! It seems that you are lost and uninformed about the rules of our special club here. Please refrain from making posts about questions and read the rules before venturing into this wonderful and exotic location within the internet. Thank you and have a cheap day!

Yes, the HyperX Cloud II are an awesome headset! I bought a pair for my Gaming Laptop when I am traveling on the road and they sound so good that now I use them instead of my A50's on my desktop Gaming RIG when I'm home! eBay has a sweet price on them for BF, see link below:

I never have a reservation for buying a refurb... you save 50% and if they break or have any issues, just buy a new pair at Best Buy or Target and do the ole' 'Swap N Return' for a brand new pair!

Good luck and happy fragging!!
