I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

CoD is a dead brand on PC. There probably wasn't a lot Activision could do to stop the Trollercoaster around them, but no PC player wants to admit to owning CoD any more.
To be fair, I am still mad their online implementation way back in Blops was so intolerably shit so maybe that's part of it.
I should elaborate, you can redeem Steam Wallet codes via both the web store and the app, as these just add money to your account. Keys for actual games must be redeemed in the client you install on a computer.

I liked Absolution a lot (i.e. for varying mission types with some Hitman-style huge sandbox levels + some if the Splinter Cell linear type of level; new features like the Batman Arkham series X-Ray mode that Hitman took that's called Instinct; much better story; Leadersboard to compare yourself against other players World-Wide), despite some of my issues with it. Absolution lacked some of the typical Hitman series things (i.e. lots of different foreign + exotic type of level; lots of world-wide globe-trotting; not a lot of them old-school Hitman-style huge sandbox style levels).
Hitman 2016 took everything great about both the old-school Hitman games (i.e. namely, those Hitman games before Absolution - i.e. Hitman 2: SA, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money) and some of the new stuff Absolution from that game (except those linear Absolution levels that felt very Splinter Cell-like in linearity). Not only that, but Hitman 2016 levels often feel much bigger & grander in size + scope; more NPC's roaming; more ways to hurt + kill targets; and have way more going on in the actual game-world.
While the story + character development isn't anything spectacular by any means (i.e. like most of the older Hitman games before Absolution), it's still decent enough to just tie together why you're back to globetrotting around the world, knocking off specific targets.
Just don't expect story + character development on the level of the Deus Ex series of games, pretty much.
With some goofing around; messing around; experimenting; and loading+reloading saves quite a bit here and there - campaign took me around 20 hours.
I just finished Final Fantasy XV. After 58 hours, the game is fantastic except for some story elements and linearity at points, but the gameplay is fantastic; Game of the year for me.

Sorry if this is off topic/wrong thread. I just traded an OG ps4 for a Alienware Alpha I5 with 2 monitors (BenQ and HP), mouse and keyboard combo (cm storm), generic headset, and 360 controller. Was this a good trade? I've never been a pc gamer and thought this might be a safe place your start.

Any details on the parts inside? The Exact CPU? The graphics card / video card model inside? What kind of RAM and how many GB of RAM do you have?
What's the two monitors' model number? What's the monitors' specs?
On monitors - you'll want to look at the size of the monitor, panel-type, maximum resolution, refresh rate & response time.

You traded a console for a PC. That's a good deal.
That being said, the Alphas are pretty low-spec machines and not very upgradable. On the brighter side, by this time next year you'll probably have a thousand PC games and be encouraged to build something new to play all those games you got for stupidly cheap.
The GPU in that Alienware is a modified Geforce GTX 860m. You can see some benchmarks for it here.
Does well with newer stuff like Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 at Medium settings, should handle older games well enough to toy with turning your settings up.

Cool @ the two monitors. One's 900p (HP) and the other's 1080p (BenQ).
It's usually best to play games at the monitor's native resolution.
The BenQ will probably be best for some older games, so you can play those at native 1080p maxed-out.
You'll probably have a better pixel density than most b/c your 1080p BenQ is at 21.5". I have a 1080p at 23.5 inches (which is now tied to my gaming laptop) - and often I had to throw on AA + other filters to get pixelation out, since I so close to it.
For anything you have to do at 900p or less - you might be better off with the HP 19''. That way, if you have to do some games at 720p for example, you won't be down-scaling too much (which can cause some blur, if you aren't using AA settings + especially Supersampling which I'm guessing the Alpha won't likely handle that.

Yeah, no doubt. There's so many deal's going around, it's really hard to miss out on something...and that's in many instances, where deals just aren't as great as they often once was; especially on AAA titles.
Though, buying bundles from places like HumbleBundle & IndieGala, and many other digital stores - compared to console-gaming pricing in most instances, the PC is going to be a dream come true. He'll soon be having a backlog, and will be often making the decision of "Well...so many games here; what game do I play next?"

Finally got Skyrim with all my mods working again a few days ago and have been mostly playing that while FF15 rots, so sad. Game is just so good, I've been in a desktop mood lately. But it IS Iron Banner week too so..

It's basically the "Morrowind of space-sims".
For something more hardcore + free-form, EgoSoft's X titles are good.
In particular, X3: Terran Conflict is probably the one out of the club to play, TBH. It's certainly much better on interfaces than X2: The Threat + X3: Reunion.
While I did like X Rebirth, when I played it, it lacked some of the depth that previous X games had going on.

One place where PC excels in exclusives is strategy/simulation stuff. Civilization V or VI, Mount & Blade: Warband, Crusader Kings II, Cities: Skylines, Total War, etc.
In RPGs, you have Pillars of Eternity. Also, I wouldn't discount the value of PC modding for games you've played like Fallout or Skyrim if you're coming from Playstation.
An oldie but a classic would be Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. You'll probably want a mod for it as well (for graphics if nothing else) which is easy to do. One of my favorite shooters though.
