Just a warning for those of you playing FFXV and doing some of the post story quests. One of the hardest dungeons is costlemark tower and it's made even harder toward the end of the dungeon thanks to a glitch that keeps the camera from moving with the right analog stick. Made the boss a bigger pain in the ass cause I could barely target it. Thankfully it goes away after leaving the dungeon.

I ran into that and just left and reran it again.

if anyone else runs into this, you can just have a different party member use an item. assuming you didnt disable the animation video it will correct itself after the animation. i actually had it lock during the puzzle and couldnt face the wall to advance.

You would have to reformt it. Just be sure you deactivate it as your primary PS4 beforehand.

Having picked up Supermagical it seems to have trophies, but when I try to synch with PSN I get an error message and the game isn't listed on PSNprofiles. So that's weird.

Trophies just haven't been uploaded to the PSN servers yet. Happens from time to time with small obscure games.

The Yakuza series is my favorite series of brawlers easily. The story is always really intense, and though it goes a bit overboard sometimes, it is just fun to play and there is a whole lot to do. It's amazing how much the game has gotten better since the Yakuza 1 days. That city was pretty barren, though I thought the story was very good. Luckily we're getting a remake this summer, and I hope it has the punching a Tiger part. That battle royale was awesome. Yakuza 0 is a great place to start as this covers the early days of Kazuma and Majima, and even get to play as Majima as well. Plus the 80s look seems cool. I can't wait to play it!

If anyone was curious my favorite brawler is likely Dragon's Crown. Just gorgeous and plays well.

literally doing that right now. what level were you when you did the rubber band trick? 90 minutes makes it seem like you were really close already. I am at lvl 7 I think and have had it on for about an hour. not sure when I should stop, but whatever. I didn't even have rubber bands. I just got some yarn and wrapped it around both things and then taped it together.

we are almost literally in the same boat. just got the 3 skills trophies(lvl 5 cooking, lvl 7 survival, lvl 9 photos) and adamantoise. will be saving adamantoise for last. I plan to beat tales from the borderlands first though since I want ff15 to be my 20th platinum trophy.

I was doing the same, but prices on the LG OLEDs have really come down and they've nicely fixed their HDR lag issues. I finally upgraded my trusty 10 y.o. 42" Panasonic plasma for a 55" OLED55B6P (was on sale for $1450 last week on eBay, prices fluctuate but that should be obtainable over the next few weeks) and the picture quality is truly fantastic. If you're considering it, look into purchasing from a reputable vendor using a credit card with price protection, then use the price protection and your CC will refund the difference vs. a bait 'n switch outfit like EbuyUSA or East Coast TVs, which should save you another couple of hundred. That is a strange way to phrase it. "from January 31st" made it sound like "hey we are supporting HDR from the 31st to the 20th of next month, but no other times".

They're just saying there will be an update out on 1/31 to add HDR support to it.

literally doing that right now. what level were you when you did the rubber band trick? 90 minutes makes it seem like you were really close already. I am at lvl 7 I think and have had it on for about an hour. not sure when I should stop, but whatever. I didn't even have rubber bands. I just got some yarn and wrapped it around both things and then taped it together.

I was around 9 1/2 I believe. I would do everything else you want to first before "yarning" your controller to cut down on the time your PS4 is tied up.

I was doing the same, but prices on the LG OLEDs have really come down and they've nicely fixed their HDR lag issues. I finally upgraded my trusty 10 y.o. 42" Panasonic plasma for a 55" OLED55B6P (was on sale for $1450 last week on eBay, prices fluctuate but that should be obtainable over the next few weeks) and the picture quality is truly fantastic. If you're considering it, look into purchasing from a reputable vendor using a credit card with price protection, then use the price protection and your CC will refund the difference vs. a bait 'n switch outfit like EbuyUSA or East Coast TVs, which should save you another couple of hundred. Of course if you wait another six-eight months you'll probably be able to get 4K OLED for less than $1000. But you'll have to wait ...

I was thinking of getting the Samsung one that everyone keeps talking about, but truthfully speaking, I don't really have a need for a new TV since mine still works splendidly after 6 years. So maybe waiting might be more helpful for me and my budget. But I also have about $200 in gift cards and rewards at Best Buy, so that'll definitely help me cut down the cost if need be.

I actually already have the game and finished the story, but I've been jumping back and forth with and some other games, but I think I'm going to hold off. Like I still have Skyrim and Tomb Raider finished, but I want to wait until I get a 4K to take full advantage of those since I'm running my Pro on an old 1080p screen.

secretly everyone is happy without the burden of having to decide if now is the time to bite on "x" game that is on sale or if it will be free next month or on sale before we can play them and regret the purchase later. ive finished off 4 games from my backlog this month, actually finished, not just pushed aside forever.
