This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

At 4K settings, WWE 2K16 was eating around 2GB of VRAM.

I'd expect 2K17 might have similar results, for better or worse - even though 2K17's requirements are a little bit stiffer over 2K16 (i.e. seems like it's a generation or so above on its min + recomended specs).

Also, 2K16 took up around 47 GB of HDD space.

2K17 will probably be similar - plus, 2K17 is recommending 50GB of HDD space right now on the requirements page on Steam.

We'll probably know the answers to a lot of your questions, in a few hours - when the game unlocks on Steam + the Steam boards start talking about all of that good technical stuff. :)

@MysterD: I understand why you put the video clip of Joe up.  For me though, I am reminded of Tyson Kidd getting retired due to a freak accident happening during Joe's muscle buster finisher.  16 staples, metal rod and screws in his neck; it was really good that he recovered as well as he did as I have seen that type of injury leading to becoming quadriplegic.

After Kidd's injury I heard that Joe modified the finisher to be more safe.  It was nice to see him come to RAW except Rollins got injured again.

 
If any of y'all have a PS4 I highly recommend you get Nioh tomorrow. Game is really really good; perfect mix of dark souls and stance switching combat.

Joe's awesome (he was awesome in TNA - he had some wars w/ Angle and AJ Styles) and I'm glad to see him finally make the Main Roster. And beat Roman last night, too.

Really sucks about what happened to Tyson Kidd especially (he was so underrated + under-utliized) and also Rollins. :(

Wrestling moves can be dangerous - and it makes sense when wrestlers change moves (i.e. modify them to be more safe or don't use them anymore) and/or WWE might ban them (i.e. we ain't seen Curb Stomp, Buckle Bomb, Muscle Buster, Brain Busters, and Piledrivers in quite a while).

Joe used what looked like a Catching/Rebounding Uranage as a finisher on Reigns last night.

Also, looks like Joe is actually on the WWE 2K17 vanilla roster and not DLC this time around. Cool.

Actually, he's lucky to be alive.. Like only 5% of people who suffer that sort of a broken neck survive. As for the muscle buster being modified I hadn't heard or seen any changes... And looking at a recent match with Nakamura I'm still not seeing it. I think its been mentioned by all (minus Bret Hart) that it was just a really freak thing.

Anyhow, I'm glad Kidd is doing okay... Sad to see him go out not under his own terms and that they never really appreciated him. His work in NXT was amazing. (Him and Neville had some great matches.)

Curb Stomp is banned... Has been for a few years now as WWE has tried to protect themselves from concussion lawsuits and not because its unsafe. (Pile Driver has been banned for a long time minus Undertaker and Kane's Tombstone.)

 
I didn't know that was the reason Kidd is out of wrestling.  That sucks.  Definitely agree he had some great matches in NXT.  And I'm going to miss Joe there, too.

Did anyone see the Omega/Okada match from WrestleKingdom 11?  I never watch New Japan but that match was soooo good.  All of the shots were super stiff.

Anyway, I've bought the last two WWE games early to do my part to encourage them to keep bringing them to PC (I'd do the same for NHL and Madden, too...I wish) but I'm waiting this time.  Especially since the DLC isn't all included this year.

WWE games are terrible

TrumpCat needs to fix the injustice that happened with the male ghostbusters characters game being removed from the steam store while the female characters ghostbusters game remains available.

I like pizza and burgers, I'd love to have a pizza burger for lunch today!

I think we need more politicians like Eva Kaili or Orly Levy in America!

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is now released on Steam.

While I own this game twice, I do not know how to play it on a competitive level and just play around for fun swapping around characters.

There is enough Capcom characters and Marvel characters that I'm sure it would be fun for a bro night if the game is ever cheap enough.

Yes, I did. Like you I never watch NJPW but watched it because of all the rave reviews/buzz it generated and it did a damn good of living up to it.

As for NJPW, yeah very few banned moves, and it's certainly not toned it down like WWE has/did so it can be shocking to watch. (I watch Lucha Underground so the stiffness wasn't all that shocking.)

The selection isn't great but you can get Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Far Cry Primal, or The Division for $14.99 + free shipping. It's a physical copy and Uplay only. Getting closer to that $10 threshold.

Hmmm, The Witcher 3 is on Tremor for 14k coins, been saving for a while (19k) so I might bite on this. Not sure if I'd ever play it, though. Decisions, decisions...

Last night we tricked Spoder into joining us by playing Dead by Daylight.  Using our elite hacking skillz, we were able to jack the network and disguise ourselves as Nigerians so we could play killer and survivors together because, when everyone is a millionaire prince or oil executive, you can do whatever you want.  We actually had enough people show up that we had to rotate slots.  People lived, I usually died and Bah learned that, in the end, he has no true friends and that Spoder, Fox and GBK can't be trusted.  "Oh my god, there's a giant hook through my shoulder and this post is turning into a wreath of spider legs to tear my soul from my body!" "That's nice, gotta run kkthx~bye lol..."  Sure, I was playing as the killer but, in the end, who were the real monsters?

Tonight we're playing Bloody Good Time which was a crowd favorite for a while six months ago.  Feel free to drop in and shoot people, poison them, slash them with swords or, if you're an asshole like Fox, throw dynamite on them while they're sleeping on a porn star's bed.

Oh, I guess you can't buy the bundle with zGold. Which is kind of weird since they still heavily promote using it on the IG Store and the Razer site promotes using it for IG bundles & store purchases. I guess if I wanted that bundle, I'd care more.

6970 to 1070 was great!

I'm sure that 480 ran hotter and used more power. I almost never hear the fan wind up on my 1070. Even when playing GTA V or something like that my 1070 never heats up enough for me to hear the fan.
