This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that it sold better than their last few titles. It was always planned to be a trilogy with the maps from each game linking together into one huge map if you own the respective games which sounds pretty cool if it works out. The game is fun and I don't mind the mass of dlc but holy crap at least put that mass of dlc on sale every once in awhile. Some of it has been out a year and I think 33% off is the best they've had.

Any danger of idling VAC games using idlemaster? I vaguely recall somebody posting something about this in this tread a while back. But I'll be damned if I can recall when that was.

 
The bros had a go at Titanfall 2's multiplayer last night and had a nice turnout. I found it largely meh. It wasn't bad and there were aspects of it that were enjoyable, but I'd never put a lot of time into that game. It was infinitely more fun when we were playing privately rather than against the kids that have been playing it since release. MysterD also made his second bro-night appearance. 

After that we played some Jackbox which is a regular go-to backup and there were drawings of dicks, trees coming out of buttholes, and alligators afflicted with disease. We also lied to each other about urine and other bodily functions. Fun was had by all, espc Fox since he loves trees that sprout from bungholes.

 
I had fun w/ Titanfall 2 MP last night - its very good.

But yeah, I'll take BF1 MP over it any day. BF1 MP is something really special.

Titanfall 2 seemed like it could, in theory, be okay but it had a learning curve that was going to require me to play the tutorial/campaign rather than just jumping into multiplayer.  I kept getting plastered while trying to figure out any controls more complicated than W+M1 which wasn't very entertaining.  It ran fine for me and looked pretty and might be a good game but I wasn't able to have much fun with it under the circumstances.

Drawful 2 has some new features that I think were worth the bundle split to get it.  You can make your own prompts, which we tried but did it wrong since ideally those who make it aren't the same people who play the game.  There was also a gallery feature after the game where you could revisit those awful drawings we all made.  They added two colors to give you some contrast.  Sadly, Jimbo got stuck with a combination of brown poo and yellow poo that made his drawings automatically unappealing.  I'll have to look into what's in Jackbox Party Pack 3 to see if it's worth an addition to the rotation on sale (I've sold like 400 cards since last week so now I can get it for $1 cheaper).  PissPiss kept mentioning there was some sort of haunted game mode he wanted to try out.  It was Georgebutt's first time playing and I think he was pleasantly surprised.  We forgot to invite MysterD, but he kept playing Titanfall 2, but next time remind me to shoot him an invite in case he wants to show off his drawing skills.  I've also potentially figured out how to eliminate the sound issue but I'll test it out next time.

I don't have any of the newer Jackbox stuff.

The Last YDKJ game I have was YDKJ 2011.

So, even if you did send me an invite - I'd still have to go buy all that stuff first.

Anyways, still had fun w/ Titanfall 2 MP. Glad to have joined last night's TFall 2 MP Bro Night.

You dont need to own the jackbox to play, you only need one person to own it to host. Everyone else plays via web/phone/tablet and watches the hosts stream (usually through beam.pro since beam streaming has about 100x less lag than twitch and is very playable)

I don't why this is so hard to grasp, but it's possibly to both find her awful and him a prime candidate for a 93rd trimester abortion. Two people--and in fact two parties--can be awful simultaneously, not everything is either/or. Sorry.

 
When you get into a good group on TF2 you can absolutely slaughter the other team to a point of hilarity, but the complete opposite is true also.

Started Hitman Blood Money. Wow that game hasn't aged well, and I've never played it before. On the 4th level I was tired, it was late, and needed to stop after 20 tries to get it right but wanted to get through it. So I gave up stealth and just ran in guns blazing. Took like 3 minutes. :Lol:

Yea, this happened when we played our first private match. Then we balanced the teams between the majority noobs and experienced players and it went to overtime after a first game thrashing.

Mafia 3 - really digging the game + story, despite console-like performance (25-30fps with 30fps cap on) here at 1440p.

So "failure" maybe was the wrong word. There are a lot of other words that would probably be more applicable, starting with "dumbass" and "liar". Dumbocrats that defend this woman amuse me. She was criminally careless with top secret emails. She had to have debate questions fed to her so she wouldn't embarrass herself too badly. This is just the tip of the iceberg as to the person she is. Trump may fail spectacularly, but if he does, at least he tried something other than politics as usual.

Sure, but unlike most here I do love some good console action on the side. In fact I just completed my free month of GameFly and knocked off a few games I wanted to try out, but not buy new or at all. I finished up NieR: Automata's three playthroughs (Great game), and tried For Honor and Ghost Recon Wildlands (I didn't really like either of those).

As for religion & politics? Yeah, I'm staying the fuck away from any of those discussions on a public forum of diverse opinion. I mean, really? I could better spend (or waste) my time playing more console games.

...but my FREE month of GameFly is now gone. Sad face.

Well, the PC variants of those games I mentioned are similar in gameplay beyond the control input. Although, when you can try something out for free why not, right? I played the Betas of both For Honor and Wildlands on PC and wanted to dig deeper into more content. GF seemed like an easy option, even if through a console.

I've been playing some ME:A and Titanfall 2 on PC to mix things up. I still have my trial month of Origin Access running for a few more weeks so I downloaded Unravel and Mirror's Edge Catalyst to try out. I haven't played much on Steam lately, but I still need to get to DOOM and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided at some point. Too many games.
