Damn....I own all of them. Except for Gianna Sisters, which I have no desire to play. At least the Lara Croft game will open up the player base and it'll be easier to find people to play with now.

I 100%d TFU 2 and SW Lego. TFU II is a bit of a let down compared to the original, though. Not bad but not very memorable.

The Lara Croft game on 360 is different, this is the sequel. Pretty decent month overall. I hate a lot about Force Unleashed 2, but it's worth playing for free if you like the gameplay. I'll probably check out the DLC. I don't remember if it launched at $1 but it dropped down pretty fast if not because of the poor reception to the game overall.

 
For you Two Worlds II fans there is a new DLC (Two Worlds 2: Call of the Tenebrae) releasing on May 25th (6 years post launch) that will add about 10 hours of gameplay.  It also will include some engine updates and a bunch of new achievements. No idea on pricing.  Hopefully this becomes BC since the developers seem to be interested in getting people back into this game before a TW III is announced.

Stoked for Leto Star Wars, my son loves playing co-op with me. I hope it leads to several Leto Star Wars games going BC, as he loves the Clone Wars game too.
 
Man seeing Lego Star Wars now really shows how far the games have come. With it being a sort of port from the PS2 era the graphics look kind of jank even by Lego standards. I do like that the environments are still made out of bricks instead of the weird hybrid with realistic graphics most of the newer games have.

Yeah I had not gotten a 3 Star Drift on a Drift Zone until just the other day lol. I was surprised I got it, but not surprised when I realized I was sliding around an overpowered muscle car. You'd think a Lambo would work there but I'd always go too fast and whip the rear end around.

So grab a high powered muscle car.

Bonus if it's raining.

Toggle that e-brake!

I've read a lot of random and bizarre news over the years, but this one takes the cake. This game was a clunky mess, no?
 
Thoughts on Overcooked SP ...

Some say it is OK, some say it is horrible. I know it is a couch co-op title first and foremost, but would be interested in SP mode also.

Hmm, I don't know much about Giana Sisters but it's a hardcore platformer with phase shifting, hmmm I'll give it a go.

Is that video old because at the end Major Nelson says your game will appear on the Ready to Install screen but wouldn't they be on Memberships. The games would show up on Ready to Install if you've already had them for 360 and they were Backwards Compatible though.

That Rome guy sure has a nice voice, but damn the music they've written is terrible. Also, Bradley Nowell wrote and sang 99% of Sublime's music. Hiring a guy to replace him and still use the band name is like if Dave Grohl and Kris got a new singer and toured as Nirvana with Steve, it just doesn't make any fucking sense and is clearly a cash-grab. Velvet Revolver wasn't GNR with Scott, it was Velvet Revolver.

Didn't know anything about Giana Sisters either but I've been on a 2D kick lately so this sounds great.

Also, the SW Lego games are the kinda games I want to play but don't want to pay money for, so this is good news as well.

Enjoying Yooka Laylee for what it is. It is defintely a great throw-back 3D platformer. But my God, the camera and controls can be real bullshit at times. The camera is wonly as hell (just like you remember from the 90's) and the controls are floaty and occasionally imprecise (also just like you remember.)

Things is ... I can't tell whether they purposely borked the camera and controls to give it that old school 90's authentic feel - b/c if they did, it is annoying as hell.

Have to say I agree with most of the reviews ... a good throw back, but a lot of missed potential for it to be polished into a really great game .

 
I just bought a few weeks back the game: Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris via a sale on Amazon/digital for the PS4. Oh well, now I will have it on both systems I guess. I already own Lego Star Wars but I think for the PS3 so I can play it on XOne soon.

Nah I think if you want to sell a lot of Call of Duty games calling it Call of Duty WW2 will sell buckets of these. I bet a lot of ppl that dropped off over the past few games will pick this one up. I know I skipped last years and will prob preorder this one.

Second one has some funny as hell dialogue. It was basically a billion times better then the first two worlds, but still many steps below Skyrim in terms of enjoyment. I just hope they make it BC sometime when the DLC is out. The developer also mentioned the DLC coming later for 360/PS4. Whether PS4 was a typo or not I'm not sure.

I own 2/4 of those games and one is PS+ which I'm letting expire in June so I'm happy with that (Lara Croft) and Lego Star Wars Complete Saga on disc so digital is always welcome. Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 I heard is more of the same of the first one but even shorter, which is good for my backlog I'll play it ASAP and beat it ASAP.

I own a shrink wrapped copy of 2 that I got for $5 a while back, this is a weird announcement. I don't know exactly how 2 plays but heard it's much better than the first so I skipped it. I like first person RPGs and had already played oblivion and Skyrim so figured I'd check this out eventually.

I'd say quite a bit worse overall. The gameplay itself is fine, but virtually no additions over one. They really pushed dual lightsabers in the promo material like they were a huge change, but functionally they do nothing. Lightsaber attacks are still just one button press so while the combos look different, they aren't any deeper.

Story-wise, the first game definitely wrapped up the story the way they intended, so there was nowhere to really go for a sequel. They took the only semi-viable angle Star Wars could really provide at the time, but I felt they squandered it. One of the biggest problems for me was learning that a HUGE plot point is locked behind collectibles, without which the ending just comes out of nowhere.

I think the biggest downfall is just how short the game is. The first TFU is fairly long, with like 10 or so unique levels that are totally different environments a lot of good boss fights, totally around 12-15 hours I think. The second game only had 4 levels if I remember correctly, with one environment being reused, and the bosses are fewer and worse. Just beating the story is about 4-5 hours.

The official Xbox facebook page and Xbox Wire are advertising - prominently - next week's CoD WWII revel stream. Is it possible MS has regained some sort of marketing deal with Activision? I don't remember they did this for Black Ops III and/or Infinite Warfare. If they did then feel free to correct me. I'm just really not sure.

Good look. Perhaps they are back w/ Xbox. Especially since Destiny back in bed w/ Sony this year. Not sure if the two of the years biggest shooters would be aligned with Sony in the same year.
