PS1 Final Fantasy 7 without security white label - new or used?

CAGiversary!
Hi I'm trying to buy Final fantasy 7 black label new - seller mentioned that they dont have the white security label thingy on top - sorry I dont know what the white label is called.

is it still new? I see all listings on ebay, the new ones have white security label thingy.

it's a y fold sealed mint.

seller claims that previously the supplier sold it to them without the white label.

is it still considered brand new? or perhaps was opened and resealed?

Anyway thank you very much for ya time to read this :)

p/s: anybody selling here :D

Look at the fold of the plastic and compare it with a new copy with the white label and if they don't match don't buy it.

However, suppliers do sell games this way without the security label because I have a brand new (Before the reprint) copy of Yakuza 2 without the security label but a sticker stating it came directly from Sega of America on the front.

There was a point into the PS2's life that Sony stopped using the white security stickers on both PS1 and PS2 games. There were a few PS1 reprints that were released without the security sticker (Persona 2, Rhapsody) but not sure if there were any others and I don't know if there were any other "black label" ones without the sticker. I know FFVII wasn't one of them though, there was a GH release of FFVII that came with the sticker but that was years before Sony stopped using the sticker.
