My wife absolutely LOVES the new Papa John's Cheeseburger pizza.  It has pickles on it.

Well, how much further West are you expecting to go in American Truck Simulator? West of California is the Pacific Ocean, so unless it's a Transformers simulator, I think that's it.

I don't know; Blue Velvet made about as much sense as The Maltese Falcon, which is to say. . . not that much.
Hey now, there *are* Interstates in Hawaii you know!

I vaguely remember being interested in Mulholland Drive when I was a kid. Don't think I ever saw it though. Wait scratch that, I'm thinking of Mulholland *Falls*.

Oh yeah, I remember Mulholland Falls. Threw a no-hitter in 1990, had some good years with the Phillies.

Wait, scratch that, I'm thinking of Terry Mulholland.

Good god! The interstate system is going to be a decaying relic by the time they get to Missouri let alone the east coast.
Flash forward....2079.....

American Truck Simulator: Missouri DLC

Coming Soon.....

While that's technically true, how can you call something an interstate highway when it expressly does not connect any two states? I think that a true interstate highway in HI would be more expensive than Trump's wall.

Somebody was complaining about miners jacking up GPU prices for Radeon cards the other day. I was checking out my build on PCPartPicker and saw that my $250 GTX 1060 had jumped up to $400. I'd be more annoyed about this if I actually had the money to spend on a card at the moment anyway, but do the prices go back down at some point? 'Cause I would like to actually put this computer together someday.

Yes, soon (within the next 12months) Eth will stop being mineable via GPUs.

Hawaii's interstate highways are "interstates" because they are part of the Eisenhower Interstate System, paid for and supported by federal Dept. of Transportation money.

Supposedly AMD is making cards dedicated to bitcoin mining.  You would think that they'd be thrilled to sell out as they have, but really they're not.  Bitcoin miners aren't gamers so having AMD cards priced out of the market means actual gamers get invested in Nvidia cards instead of building a history with AMD.  And the inevitable dump of wrung-out AMD cards when the market crashes means people buy GPUs with high failure rates and blame it on AMD and/or run up expensive warranty and replacement costs.

A lot of the complaints about American Truck Simulator seem to come from the fact that it looks like you're driving in the desert a lot of the time due to the landscape of the southwest. Maybe they need to just do different geographic areas instead of doing state by state additions. At least to add some variety until they fill in the entire map.

SeasonalCAG Never Satisfied Case Buyer:

So after I just installed new led fans in my old case I go off and do this...

No shots of the inside yet because I ordered new fans so they all match and a new cpu cooler.

Your Steam Sale dose of goodness:

Strike Vector is 75% off if you buy it by itself but 90% off in 4 Pack. (Yes it has been bundled but I missed those.)

I can't believe I slept all night when I could have been up listening to a bunch a NERDS argue about David Lynch. I thought David Lynch was the epitome of polarizing so mixed reactions shouldn't be a surprise. I really love Mulholland Drive, but never saw Twin Peaks.
Oh you HAVE to watch it, but if you think the pilot episode is so terrible you can't finish watching it then you just have terrible taste. It's an amazing show, but don't watch the second half of the second season because it's pointless. It's the 45th highest rated show on IMDB, only beaten by such amazing pieces of television as Friends, Avatar The Last Airbender and Seinfeld so you KNOW it's gotta be amazing and if you don't like it you have terrible taste.

Prove you don't have terrible taste and watch the show, even if you think it's unbearable to watch because it's so agonizingly bad. It's meant to be agonizingly bad, that's the whole point.

My stupid queue today suggested the Walking Dead.  I have the first two Telltale seasons and the 400 days one, so it wouldn't seem crazy to suggest another game.  It didn't suggest those though.   Not the Michonne mini one.  Not the third season one.

The dang tv series.  What in the world is Steam doing selling tv episodes/seasons now?

Looks like Alienware got the whole Dead by Daylight Deluxe key situation sorted out.

If you got the Deluxe edition but didn't have base, you'll now have a [Corrected] key in your list of keys on their site that has the game included.

Yeah, looks like I got mine. Glad to see they fixed this.

Last update on Walmart's XCOM 2 shenanigans:

They've given up and are processing refunds for paypal purchases.  The original codes are lost forever in the void, and they're out of stock so you can't reorder them.  If they tell you they're resending it and it'll get there in 20 minutes, just try support again in 20 minutes - that code's not coming.

Yeah I called them on monday and got a refund quickly. Much better experience than I had with live chat support.. It's a good thing I reordered with CC before they went out of stock

Are any of the Farm Frenzy games worth playing?  They have a few bundles on sale but I'm not sure if they are worth the money or if I would be better off just buying an individual game or two.

But but, I liked Avatar the Last Airbender and Seinfeld.

Brodate:

Last night we played the worst game ever, GTA V.  Only Parallacks showed up because Bah pulled a GBK and deleted the game.  The night consisted of me taking almost the full two hours to complete the online tutorial because I suck so much and Parallacks waiting graciously to play a few pity rounds with me at the end.  Tonight we play Rainbow Six Siege where I have already completed the tutorial so no worries there.

Also, new sexy spoder bundle:

I'll be around for RSS tonight.  Most nights lately have been games I don't own.  I do own GTA5 but never launched it and by the time I thought of it assumed that there was probably a giant set of time-consuming patches from when I installed it in 2015.

Well that's good news. I just got back into Pinball FX2 by picking up the South Park pack. While I liked both tables, I realized that I'll never match the flipper skills of BrownDerby or Waggles (among a few others). Pure pinball wizards.

Fixed.

Nonsense... Just unfriend them. :)

(Hey, I'm just saying what we've all been thinking... lol)

I picked up a few tables too... Couldn't bring myself to get one of the Marvel. Star Wars, and the Bethesda packs. Too few tables for the money.

Bah deleted rainblow suck siege too. Ill show up about 45 minutes late when you bros decide to pick a fun game to play.

Steam sale must be so popular....don't think last few pages in thread have had anything about it. I hope people post up hauls so I can at least get an idea what people are actually buying.

I'm still doing bundle keys to enter (have boatloads of indiegala bundles to go through) and may do a giveaway at the end or right before the summer sale is over. It's 2 years in the making and will likely be about 400 keys....so hopefully I can do that.

You'll need to wait a little bit longer. That's the time it takes to match a game (just joking, but until last time I played (last year I think), the matchmaking engine was really crap)

I'll post my current haul

Dishonored 2
NieR:Automata™ Standard Edition
Hollow Knight
Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed
Dishonored
10000000
Spaceplan

Nah, it's just that once past Day 1, there's no interaction with the sale. In the past, there were the community votes and the flash deals to keep everyone interested...and even the clicker game. Now it's just everything is the same price at the start of the sale and the only interaction are sticker books, which nobody really cares about. Hope Steam's sales take a hit this year so they can go back to making the sale more interactive or interesting.

I reinstalled it to give it a go tonight. I might be going out just not counting on that.
Tomorrow night, I'm foregoing KF2 to see Tom Petty play at Wrigley Field. Tough call but I think I ultimately made the right choice.

So far my haul has been buying God Eater 2 from GameStop with my Yeti coupon. I was gifted Sinful Eden and Ember by a couple Bros. That's it. I'll probably buy Radiation Island since it was on my list pre-sale and maybe possibly talk myself into some other relatively minor purchase.

It just occurred to me that I Gilby'd getting Salt off Chrono.

Listening to Fox's play-by-play of 30 minutes of chasing a drug smuggler up a mountain on foot (and partly in station wagon) while trying to figure out the controls instantly became one of my favorite bronight moments of all time.
