This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

FYI:

Tonight the bros play Umbrella Corps.  A game with overwhelmingly negative reviews described as a generic FPS with a RE skin.  I had it confused with Operation Raccoon City which was described as a generic TPS with a RE skin, yet has mixed reviews, so I expect this to be a total trainwreck.  We'll see how long we last before PUBG.

Damn, your right. I too thought it was 3PS they released a few years ago.

Speaking of Operation Raccoon City, any idea how that game supposed to be? Have you played that yet?

Still waiting for a worthwhile deal on ORC + all the content-DLC.

Would be nice if they (Capcom) pushed that over to straight-up Steamworks + dropped G4WL.

I played like 5 minutes of ORC back when I got it for $5 or something on PS3. It was pretty generic. I was in some room with alot of fancy metal crates and some troops or something were shooting at me and I was shooting at them and I don't recall any zombies or mutants or anything. It was sort of generic in the way Aliens: CM was. But I heard it really gets good after 15-20 hours so you should definitely give it enough time when you get it.

It's best played with friends so I don't know why you'd want it. Doubt they profit from it anymore so they have no reason to remove GFWL, and I'm guessing it hasn't been bundled due to the GFWL requirement. Oh, and wtf is content download content

To be specific and to clarify:

Content-$DLC is (what I would consider) actual content that adds new maps/missions to the game.

In particular, it's the two Echo Six Expansions:

It was redundant to specify that though, since you need to buy the complete pack to get a good deal on the game + Echo Six DLCs.. I don't think anyone else sells the DLC aside from Steam.

It's been 80% off a few times anyway.. anyone that wanted it should have it by now.

It is good enough that I played 11 hours of it. I didn't think it was as bad as the most of the reviews would indicate. I can't remember too much, so it must be forgettable.

 
Chrono has Renoir on sale today for an all time low. ($2)

Looks pretty neat and is on a few wishlists. Has never been in a bundle before so I figured it deserve a post.

Titanfall 2 has an update today that includes a horde style coop mode.  Might be a good time to try it again if you are like me and really REALLY suck at the pvp aspect of TF2.

 
Is it the full JC3 sp available or just limited like DOOM (2016).  I WANT+NEED to know or else I will not, or can not, or do not, or do nut download it if it's just a demo.  

 
NBA Playgrounds received a 3GB update today.

Looks like they've added some new content: new players, new modes, friend invites, and have made some much needed changes to the gameplay. I might dive back in.

Just Cause 3 was a blast for the first 25 hours.  Then it stopped running and no amount of tweaking/reinstalling has solved the problem.

That's a shame. I hear it kinda sucks until you reach the 26 hour mark and then it magically transforms into game of the year contender.
