If I end up enjoying Fortnite enough to upgrade to whatever version gives another code, I'll hook someone up for $25. I'm sure they were hoping that cycle would happen a lot and it's pretty genius IMO.

Luckys Tale (not 100% sure on this away from xbox and too lazy to check) and Crackdown 3 didn't have digital pre-orders up. I'd imagine there will be a bundle of one of those games, though I'm not sure of much discounts if any. I'd love a custom Crackdown XBox One X.

 
So I noticed Meijer's (midwest store) had a deal where I could basically get 15% off any order last night, had a $20 gift card lying around so I decided to nab the new Nintendo 2DS xl. Man what a mess linking a Nintendo ID account to an email. Makes you appreciate how clean Microsoft's digital right's management is on the Xbox and the "play anywhere" stuff in the Windows 10 store. Zelda a link between worlds is pretty great though, played till I got a low battery warning.

So Fortnite is a game that I feel really dirty loving because of all it's loot boxes garbage, but good god that game is fun. They managed to mix Minecraft, Left 4 Dead and Killing Floor together. I just need to read up today on how that game works because this game is really deep with all it's crafting, customization and skill trees.

I have no problem paying $40 for the game. The game has a full 1k of achievements and honestly it feels complete. Yes it's going F2P next year but I also feel like this game is worth the $40 for how much fun I will be having. Plus you do get daily founders rewards so there is that.

I noticed Japan and Korea do not have pages for Slime Rancher. Maybe they'll be getting different games for GwG. :)

I've heard this and I've also heard the game falls into being a grind at a certain level. Those players have played to level 20, I think, and then said they fell into a grind and it wasn't very fun at that point.
I've been following the game for some time now and I'd jump in when and if internet wasn't such a bother for me. As of right now with everybody in Cooperstown for Hall of Fame weekend my internet through the cell tower has gone to shit.

That said with DiRT Rally hitting Game Pass next month I used my Bing credits on another month of Game Pass lol.
 
I'm waiting for the Xbox One X $350 bundle with Halo 6 and 2 controllers coming holiday 2019.

If the color is that important to you, sure. I Guess. Just note that a few retailers have had the XBox One S for $200 a few times now in the past weeks or so. So I don't know if $80 more for some exclusive Gamestop colored console is worth it.

 
I have that Xbox. That blue is so ugly it's almost nice. I did get rid of the controller though because I can only use the elite at this point.

I've bought multiple things from them in the past and have never had any problem. It's the sellers you have to worry about not the site itself. That's why i always get the protection. That way the site guarantees your code works. Online reviews of the sight seem pretty good. Most say G2A is more reliable, but the protection makes it a moot point.

 
For whatever reason, the first character I made in Path of Exile just broke the game. It would just crash to the dashboard when loading into the level every time I tried to play. The fix was to delete that character, start a new character, and everything seemed to be okay after that.

The game is pretty rough from what I've played so far. The equipment screen doesn't have labels on each box, so I have no idea if any items in my inventory or those I could buy from merchants goes in there. It's a bit confusing. The way currency is handled is odd, especially when they physically exist in the inventory, but can't be moved to make room for other things. Hoping they can fix some of this stuff during the beta.

 
I Got to admit, after watching Atomic Blonde and I can't deny the argument that 99 Luftballoons is one of the best songs ever. And Blue Monday by New Order, but that song goes without goddamn saying.

 
Looking for 2 more for Fortnite tonight. Should be on around 9:30 eastern time or so. Set up a LFG if anyone wants in. Just a heads up, I have not played the game yet

Looks like the follow trick is working again. Following EvilBoris GX and then going to Mark of the Ninja's GameHub will let you download the game but you can't play it yet.

Since the first exploit has been discovered all games working this way have eventually hit BC. So Mark of the Ninja will be BC in the future.

Sweet Mark of the Ninja is an awesome game. Have it on PC and have been dying for it to even go on sale on 360, but would instabuy it even at full price if it went BC.

For an extra $80 it'd have to at least be a 1TB model, color be damned, or have some good games included.

You're actually asking if a game that CONSTANTLY goes on sale for $20 or less and a feature that is on EVERY XBox One (with Gold membership of course) with a standard 500GB HDD is worth the additional $80 price tag? Think about that for a bit and look at the site you're on and reevaluate how you're spending your money if that's a real question.

i keep getting deadlight and mark of the ninja mixed up. anybody else do that? i own both so maybe i should play them and i wouldn't have that problem anymore?

deadlight is the only gwg i missed since gwg started and i was piiiiiissed at myself because i was super interested in it. i bought the director's cut on x1 during a sale though.

so when i read mark of the ninja is coming to bc i think it's deadlight, which had me regretting buying the x1 version for a sec. it's all good now though! bring on mark of the ninja!

i just bought a $100 xbox gift card from a guy on craigslist for $60 (scratched and verified at the meet).

can i save this and use it toward an xbox one x from the microsoft store?

where can i find more info on how xbox and ms store gift cards work with each other's stores?

if i redeem the card on my xbox live account now, can i use the balance on my account both online and at the physical MS store? or should i keep the card unredeemed to use at the ms store in town when the xbox one x comes out?

Okay, so I used Gamestop Pur Reward points and was able to snag Horizon 3 for almost nothing which has me kinda elated. Now the Blizzard dlc is on, and the Warthog I got for watching the E3 briefing isn't just languishing on my drive. If anyone has a cheap code for the Hot wheels dlc, hit me.
I really wish we could sell our digital games when we finish them.....

Yeah I am very low level right now so I wouldn't know. Waiting to hear what classes my friends pick before I decide to stick with one class and start grinding my skill points. I played MMO's so I might be able to handle the grind better than some people. In concept the game is great, and since it's still a beta I am sure they can iron out all the kinks with the game.

I actually didn't see Gears 4 came with it, I had just glanced at the image when I read the post. My bad! But as bardockkun rightly points out, Gears 4 is frequently on sale for $20 or so these days. $25 if you're just dying to get it asap. GWG is great, but it's not like you can obtain games that have come and gone and you'd get the same access on a $200 system.

True that, but I can also save that for great physical releases like RDR 2, Call of Duty WW2, or Crackdown 3. Also I could use the credit for an XOne X.....if someone has a great price on the dlc over me paying full price even with credit, I'd take them up on it.
 
Slime Rancher has promise, but no way they should be launching right now. Must have been good money to leave early access before they should have. 

In for Oh Sir at a decent price (~$5).

Any site that requires you to purchase "protection" that the product is legit is scum and should go out of their shady business.

I'm pretty sure the hot wheels dlc was never $8. That said, bruh? You know the flips are literally 50-80% profit plus bonus points. If you want something game wise, you can get it now and make back that extra by the 6th with the current bonus.
 
Well Breath of the Wild is beaten. That last boss fight and ending just made me feel the game was more about the journey more than the destination, but my top pick for game of the year. Now I'm free from playing it for now after putting over 100 hours into it. It's like I've been held hostage and now have no idea where to go...

So instead I started original Ratchet and Clank on my PS3 to remind myself how far we've progressed in camera work in games and story telling and action.

I need to play Breath of the Wild. Have a WII u already, so no excuse not to play it.

I'm looking into get a PS4 very soon because I'm craving more Souls games and want Bloodborne. I'm wondering if a Ps3 with Demon Souls would be cheaper and offer a more Dark Souls like experience. The PS4 I'm looking at is about $270 at Walmart and includes an Uncharted game. I'd prefer something closer to $200 since I may only be using the console for one game, but maybe wife will use it more. Also considering going back and getting all gamerscore in DS3 or dlc in DS1.

Sounds like Dungeon Defenders 2 is playable, so I might start that with my wife. We loved the first game.

Received Super Cloudbuilt as a gift. Interesting and challenging from what I've played so far.

Also working on Tekken 7 story. I've had the game for awhile, but have been insanely busy at work. Love my job, started in March, but it is extremely stressful and depressing at times (foster care case manager). Don't feel much like doing much lately except spend time with my wife.

We did her immigration interview on Tuesday and passed with more than enough evidence to prove our marriage is real. We met on a Windows Central Twitch stream in fall 2015.

I Beat Breath of the Wild on my WiiU and my experience playing that, it never felt like it was in anyway an inferior game for being on an underpowered console compared to the Switch. Tech comparisons also seem to say the same thing so if you got the time to invest and get immersed in a game I highly recommend it since it's alot of game and feels like a Souls-lite game with it's heavy emphasis on parry'ing and dodging if you want to make it through some of the battles in the beginning.

And honestly having both a PS3 and PS4, I can kinda say just go and get a PS4. Majority of PS4 games are getting rereleased and only a small handful of big exclusives (Metal Gear Solid 4, Demon Souls, etc.) haven't made the jump, but there's enough of a library of exclusive games that I can say there's enough that can give serious play time, especially if you never got a PS3.

Bloodborne and Nioh are 2 PS4 exclusive souls-like games very much worth playing. Do it!
