So I fired MoochCat ... it's what I do best. I'm the best, the very best at hiring idiots and firing them for being idiots. Mooch was the best, the very best idiot in the White CatCondo ... that I can fire. I can't really fire myself or my family. I can't even fire EricTrumpCat, the last time I tried it I got in trouble with Kitten Protective Services.

Already pre-fakeyed the Bethesda lot from GMG (Dishonored) and CDKeys (The Evil Within and Wolfenstein). Will get Far Cry from Best Buy for the $10 in rewards + 20% GCU discount.

 
I don't know if I can make it through 2-3 more weeks without a GPU... If I didn't have a FeeSync monitor I'd just switch to NVIDIA.

im almost in the same boat. got a 35" freesync. I have a 390x that I hate because the drivers have been horrible for like that last year and want to get something else. The new vega looks wholly uninspiring, sucks power like Bah's mom sucks down hot dogs, Produces heat so the huge fans gotta blow like Fox's mom the week before the mortgage is due.

 
New Gamersgate zgold promotion for the month of August adds a 20% discount if you spend $40 or more, which will be nice if they get any decent pre-orders up this month.

There was no way Anthem was coming out in 2018 before this news.  People need to forget about this game for now.  It's not happening anytime soon and that was just a vertical demo. 

 
The Long Dark is officially out of Early Access and launching on multiple platforms today.

This is definitely one of the better EA games to have gone through that process. I haven't played it in a while but I'm interested to play through the first two episodes now that it's officially out. According to the developer completing both will take about 15 hours. Episodes 3 through 5 will be out later and is included for all buyers.

The game features the voice talent of Jennifer Hale, Mark Meer, and David Hayternd. Also music from Cris Velasco (Has composed music for the game franchises of: God of War, Borderlands, and Mass Effect).

Players may now re-enter games if they have been disconnected mid-game -- Thank God. Of course, you'll probably re-connect dead since your model remains in world.

I see the new reward crates include (very rare?) skirts. So now you can creep on yourself while skydiving.

Bullet Soul Infinite Burst sneaked onto Steam while I was not paying attention.  It is the improved version /almost sequel of Bullet Soul, the shmup I mentioned here before as being pretty newbie friendly.  

I should add that it does up the challenge even on easy, so Bullet Soul is easier but this one is still easier to get into at low difficulty than a lot of other bullet hell games.  If you already have the normal Bullet Soul you can get this one for 50% off.

New 7.1 Surround Sound Wired Headset.  Decent reviews on Amazon.  New.  

FYI, I had a Gamecom headset and I loved the quality, but one of the cords messed up on me after like 2 years.  It wasn't this particular model and some of the reviews claim they've had the headset for years.  I found the sound to be great and the mic to be great as well.  

Also, for any bros joining us for Rainbow Six Siege tonight, there was a 500MB update I had to download just now.
