Yeah back at Gamescom they said the update will be free coming to all owners of the game.

RDR 2 trailer made me tear up. I don't know why, I think it was pure happiness and then bitter sorrow with not being able to experience it.

Marvel Heroes popped up in my Updates so I decided since I'm practically screwed on updates that that game is going bye bye.

Pinball FX 3 is all fucked up right now, buyer beware. Just wait until they patch it. They said there's a bug and they fixed it on Steam so here's hoping it's close to Xbox One & PS4 folks. I wouldn't do any importing at the moment, there's an issue linking with your account so that's gonna probably be messed up in that situation.

I'm 45% downloaded on my Halo Wars 2 update - with most of that completed before Verizon cut off my hotspot's 4G -which is enough to go to the Ready to Start portion of the game where they have the ability to play a Skirmish against the A.I. (playing either Deathmatch, Domination or Stronghold) or play through the tutorial. The new update brings two new maps to everybody and then all the other content for Awakening the Nightmare expansion (New Banished Campaign, 2 new Banished Leaders & Units/Abilities, Terminus Firefight Co-op mode where you battle The Flood! & more multiplayer maps - as well as added 4K HDR support).

Hopefully the rest of the Dreamcast games come soon now that Sonic Adventure was added. I want Space Channel 5 Part 2. I hope they allow the Sonic games they stopped selling digitally to come too. While Sonic 06 would be a waste of resources, I think Unleashed would still be a nice addition and I'm sure Generations is coming. If they do that and bring in Sonic Heroes with Xbox BC, Xbone would be the only console to play all mainline Sonic games.

 
Read that the Fallout 4 GOTY Edition has all of its DLC on a code inside the box - not on the disc.

Just a heads up, so you don't buy it used.

(This is unusual for Bethesda. Fallout 3, New Vegas, Oblivion and Skyrim all had their GOTY/Ultimate Edition content on disc.)

Yeah they are the same thing. They renamed it but it will always be Bing Rewards to me. Just like Bruce Jenner will always be Bruce Jenner whether he's playing dress up or not.

I think it's really rude to insist on using a person's given name over their legal name. Do you call that one famous boxer Cassius Clay? Would you book a flight to Bombay, since that's what the British originally called Mumbai? Istanbul or Constantinople? In gaming news, that Battlefront II looks pretty sweet. The microtransaction card collection BS looks awful, but free dlc maps and a lot more to do at launch are doing a lot to clear out the sour taste left from Battlefront 2015.

No, power plug. In the box there are like 4 or 5 plugs.

I think I figured it out anyway. On the adapter itself it has 2.6a on it, so the 7.5 and the 10a plugs should be alright.

In the US at least, Bing Rewards was renamed Microsoft Rewards. This was the Rewards program that gave you points for making Bing searches and browsing using the Edge browser, and you could redeem points for stuff like Xbox Live time, skype/musicpass credit, stuff like that.

There's also the separate program called Xbox Live Rewards, which was the one that gave you points for taking surveys and buying games and movies during their "SciFi Month/Shooter Month" promotions, and the points were converted to currency, which was autodeposited in your xbox account.

And now that I looked up something, it looks like they axed Xbox Live Rewards in Australia some months ago, and just rolled it into MS rewards. (So, they moved your points over, and you just had to choose from the new rewards store).

Personally, I'd be happy if they did that for the US. Xbox Live Rewards has been pathetic for a long time. It used to be good when they gave you a percentage-back rebate after spending some amount of money, but now you have to spend at least $300 BEFORE the rebate kicks in. No thanks.

If this promo is the same as the last time they did it, that $10 can only be used towards Amazon music unlimited in the future.

Since I beat Medal of Honor Airborne and didn't like Rayman 3, the 360 side of GWG is a bust.

But I'll gladly take those Xbox One games I never heard of.

Microsoft Rewards in Australia just feels limited from what we had before. All we have now is the ability to earn points for searches, buying games and doing a 3 question quiz for 30 points and clicking to go to a search for 10 points (we might get 1 every couple days if we are lucky.)

We don't get the play games for so many hours or something to get points. Also no more competition like were a part of what we had before.

Looks like Australia does not have Game Pass Goals.

Used to be that you got a percentage back for purchases if you had a decent amount of achievement points (25k?) that was really nice and made me spend more on XBLA stuff back in the day. They'd probably benefit from just merging it all in and offering a uniform level of rewards and such. Getting MS reward points for XB1 game purchases on xbox.com, but not XBL rewards points for purchases on the console itself doesn't make sense at all.

May have missed this in the thread but I saw Dead Island Definitive collection for $7.99 with GCU on clearance at best buy. Picked my copy up today. Credit to lick a slick, click checkout with ship to home selected then they offered me $1 off to pick up at certain stores. Thus making the game $6.99 before tax.

Well I've gotten a few Game Pass months in with Microsoft Rewards doing Bing searches/ quizzes and what not. I've also mostly converted those points for currency to use on the Xbox, through the Windows Store. A few times I was a sucker and tried the sweepstakes or Instant Win game. With credit I had accumulated this way though I was able to grab the Universal Pinball Tables for Pinball FX 3 for $4 and change. Of course ultimately, that caused the bug that fucked me over lol.

Now, with Xbox Live Rewards it has had its shine and glory but not as great yet pretty decent as it stands is the MyVIP Star system. So if you spend money picking up games, grabbing DLC or purchasing movies and what not you can improve your level. The way they reset it every year sucks though. I'm Star Rank 3 so I get 6% back while also being a Gold member (3% to start) which is nice. They also have a deal with receiving 15k rewards credits for pre-orders but multiple times I have had problems with their system. Ultimately I just wait on games for the price drop anyways.

IMO it's a waste of time bring BC compatibility to titles that are already on the One. Particularly CoD games, because we know all those fanboys already bought it for the One, even if they got it for the 360 already.

Can confirm, just opened my Pip Boy GOTY Edition. Not surprised, since you could just pass the DLC disc around. How are they going to feed their developers without DLC purchases? It's not like Bethesda has tried to monetize any of their brands with merchandise or anything. Nope. Haven't seen one Fallout or Skyrim themed item.
