I got rid of my Vita a while back because I didn't touch it for years but now it could come in handy. I haven't been looking anywhere at all so is my best bet something like ebay or Craigslist or do they ever pop up on sale anywhere?

I didn't ask for a full refund but a partial refund. Two games I bought went on sale within two weeks of me buying them. I figured it would never happen that they'd credit me the difference but I gave it a shot.
Sony was actually very helpful and said that they would do it!

BUT I used a PSN Card from Best Buy to fund my wallet and they would only refund if the money came from my credit card linked to the account (which there is none).
Maybe they were playing shenanigans but I didn't expect to get the money back anyway so I didn't argue about it.
Hmmm, I did the same thing. Got a psn card, I haven't heard anything yet. I now wonder if I will get my credit back?

if the difference is close to the amount of $10/20/50 they may just give you a psn card code or psn credit code like they did me on chat support. i did pay with debit card but dont know if they looked at that.

Ebay is the best option. You can purchase a square trade warranty through there plus they have coupons on ebay every now and then.

I’m on fence and so glad this beta is happening. Game looks good but I usually prefer shorter narrative games.

Any thoughts on la pucelle tactics for ps3?
It's alright. it's by NIS, so has an interface very reminiscent of Disgaea games. It's also got it's own in battle 'gimmick' -- where Disgaea has the colored geo symbols you can chain, this has a portal mechanic that works differently but is in the same general ballpark [if i recall correctly, you can redirect 'beams', and cause mass damage/etc if you do it right. You can also capture and train monsters, etc.

If you're into Disgaea, I'd say it's worth checking out. If you don't know if you are, then play Disgaea instead. If you dislike Disgaea then find another srpg.

Don't think it's been mentioned in this thread yet :

For those of you who, like me, stupidly put real money into the short-lived F2P game Marvel Heroes Omega,

Got a message dated 12/1/17 from PlayStation : All Marvel Heroes Omega purchases made on or after 8/17/17 are being refunded. Those made 8/17-10/16 will be refunded back to your PSN Wallet, those on or after 10/17/17 will be refunded to the original form of payment, or to PSN Wallet if original form of payment is not available.
They said in the next few weeks, but I got my refund already. Happy that my wasted $35 "sale" purchase has come back to me. Bummed that I still wasted $17 to play the Beta and buy War Machine, but like I said, it could have been a lot worse. Glad Sony is doing the right thing here.

Still waiting on the Vita version of Cosmic Heroine...

Has anyone played Hob? I wasn't a fan of the Torchlight games because I didn't play isometric arpgs. This seems to attract me for some reason, but does the lack of a story kill it? With Okami HD coming soon, I may hold out for it, but I wish it was discounted for preorder,or if you owned it for ps3 digitally, or something.

Speaking of Nis, I snagged a copy of Yomawari: Midnight Shadows on PS4 since I heard the Vita version was inferior. I already own Night Alone for the Vita but haven’t had a chance to play either yet. Are they worth it or should I just sell them?

I’m just waiting for the cancellation tweet saying CSH for Vita has been canceled. It’s taken SO LONG to get done.

I feel like I’m in the minority with Hob, but I just didn’t think it was a quality game. Technically it’s a buggy mess. I’ve been told the frame rates are better after updates, but when I played I swear it dipped into the 10’s. It’s pretty unacceptable for the type of game it is.

The camera angles are often obstructed by the environment. You’ll need to make a jump or see an enemy and a tree in the foreground will block your view.

The game is way too long. This is a personal opinion, but it could have been chopped in half and I could have forgiven a lot of the other shortcomings, but it just gets so tedious and long-winded.

Lastly, as of me completing the game about a month ago both gold trophies for completing both endings are glitched and not acquired for doing what is required.

People have been talking about how it belongs in year end lists. I don’t get it. I loved Torchlight 2 and thought it was fun and tight. Hob just wasn’t. (Also, don’t watch any YouTube videos of it if you decide to play on PS4. The silky smooth frame rate on PC will piss you off.)

This update is a huge one for The Division, which adds a new expansion to the map, new PvP and PvE modes, revamps balance for the Dark Zone, new upgrades for gear, and more.

Has the DLC ever been cheap and is it any good? I never played past the the release window and never did any real late game grinding or rogue stuff. I'll likely have to solo and want to know if that also limits things.

You only need the season pass for the updates to the Underground, but everything else is available to all players. The upcoming Free Weekend includes all of the DLC with it, so they're free to play until 12/10.

More info and guides for new/returning players here: https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/7hjr7t/update_18_resistance_launch_what_you_need_to_know/

Agreed except for Syberia 1+2 they’re amazing games! I just beat both this year and once I emerge from this holiday season backlog that seems to have fallen down on my head and buried me I’ll start Syberia 3 lol
