I'm really happy they gave 2018 games the spotlight and teased just a couple that are 2019.

I can't get excited for games like elder scrolls which has got to be at least 2 years away. Games that tease only a title screen or cg trailer dont do much for me. Even 1 year away is pushing it.

Man I’d totally get WWE2k18 at that price. Too bad that game is complete garbage. Tempted to get the PS4 version though at the same price...

Still waiting for any mention of metroid prime 4

I've only got to see bits of the presentation so far.

Thanks for the link, and I'm glad they addressed the question.

I would love a Prime Trilogy remaster for the Switch in the meantime, though. :whistle2:(
I would gladly pay again for a switch version of the prime trilogy.
I have more copies of that than I do skryim lol ( still don't have the switch skyrim yet)

Yeah, an HD offering with some added control features would be awesome. Something like that may happen, as I'm sure before M4 comes along, "N" will do something to help bring "Metroid" back to the public's minds. What that may be, or if it will be worth purchase remains to be seen.

Was hoping for gyro aiming in Fortnite. Oh well. I'll stick to Splatoon.
How do people manage to learn how to aim with gyro? I tried for a few hours and don't feel like I was making any progress in proficiency.

Knowing Nintendo, it might well be just Ridley in Smash with the assorted amiibo. Maybe a third Samus variant (Dark Samus?).

Hi guys, it's me from Chile, I am currently on Los Angeles, for E3 expo, I would appreciate tips and deals on some switch games ( I just bought a console last night).

Do you know any good deals around Koreatown? I think I have a GameStop nearby, but best buy is quite far.

Thank you in advance~

Best Buy has a few deals on Nintendo Switch games. NBA 2K18 is 20 bucks and Disgaea 5 Complete is at a good 40 bucks. I recommend Disgaea 5 Complete more than NBA 2K18. Though it also depends if you want a strategy RPG that'll keep ya entertained for hours on end

That could very well be the case, as "N" surprises me every now and then, but it's very far and in-between at this point. Normally when surprises do happen, their not good ones, but the ones where you feel kicked in the nads, like when Metroid Prime: Federation Force was announced. So we may see something great when the time comes, or something terrible, with a few new Amiibo's being a better option than most, sadly. I'd rather have that, than a new Metroid game that no one wants, or asked for, but that won't stop "N" if they want to experiment again.

No... fucking... yoshi... announcement... 2018 my fucking ass
Yeah, this could be a game we get in a direct in a few months, and then see a holiday 2018 release date. Or it's something that we may not see for years, but no way to tell ATM. For a company like "N" who combined console/handheld R&D years ago for what seemed like the run up to the NS, they seem to lack any real kind of developmental improvements because of it.

I didn't get to watch the Direct live yesterday, but the 3DS seemed to lack any new games, which we all saw coming. But I really didn't see much to say the NS is seeing any real benefits from only making games for one system now. But "N" is beyond slow, so maybe in 1-2 years, we'll all see the benefits of the R&D merger of years ago.

So on your 2nd account you swap the regions?
Only issue i see is that the games would be tied to the 2nd account, if N does do anything about the region swapping youd probably lose access to thise games. Possible, but we are talking N here.
I ended up making a JP and EU account for the demos i couldnt get here..

I've swapped my main account to Mexico a couple times without issue. Whose to say I don't have a second home in Mexico that I visit regularly and bring my switch along? Nintendo isn't going to be banning accounts for this.

I've swapped my main account to Mexico a couple times without issue. Whose to say I don't have a second home in Mexico that I visit regularly and bring my switch along? Nintendo isn't going to be banning accounts for this.
Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by how laid back they have been in regards to region free, and they seem to be the best around, as this has been for me their best feature of the NS so far. So I don't see them changing this either, as there really is no point, as they said region free before hand, and it actually seems that way across the board.

"N" has an E3 survey out, that is asking about E3, and what you liked and what you didn't, etc. Let your opinions be heard.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5BHGBGX

EDIT: Well, that was an abysmal survey, as they needed none of the above for each question, as I had no interest in any of what was shown. Good to see "N" showing interest in gamers opinions, but that survey was about as useless as the old CN ones used to be. Oh well, step forwards at least..............

Same here, bery easy to create the non US accounts and use on my switch.

Only real problem i see, if developers complain about the sales from places like mexico.. where they probably get less from a sale than in other countries.
Dunno, maybe they get the same amount regardless.

They definitely don't get the same amount. How could they? It's not like Nintendo is paying the extra, or somehow the conversion multiplies the money.

They're just trying to not be dicks and price it appropriately for regions, and people take advantage of it. Already in the past we've seen people abuse it and it causes developers/publishers to raise the price in that region, screwing over people who actually live there. Just be smart about it.

(Incoming economist response letting me know that they shouldn't price it that low if they don't want people to abuse it)

I spent a few years in the past living/working in a developing nation that did not have its own region-specific store from Sony/Microsoft and I think its either really dick or really ignorant on their part. When the average person is making the equivalent of $500 bucks a month or something you really should cater to that market and not expect them to pay 5% of their monthly salary on an indie game. Good on Nintendo for this, furthermore it ultimately curbs piracy which is better for everyone involved.

For those interested, the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion seem great. It's essentially a remix of the gameplay with tons of new assets and story. Not to know the Zelda DLC but this seems substantially more robust for an extra 5 bucks.

As disappointed as I was with the games announced on E3, I am having a lot of fun with three of the games- Paladins, Hollow Knight and Fortnite. I was starting to use my Switch less and less but those three games brought me back in. At first I didn't want to pay to beta test Paladins but I was itching for a Overwatch style game to play. It is very fun and had to peel myself away so I can go to sleep at a decent hour.

Now there are about 40 games on my wish list that need to go on sale today. Nintendo better come with the goods.....no way its going to happen

Paladins is FTP most places, right? All I saw in the E-shop is some version that costs 30 bucks but I'd try it for free if they have that version too.

So it’s a normal practice for indies to jack up the launch price of their Switch games compared to Steam and the other consoles? Never knew that.
I think it makes sense money wise for them because switch has a big user base with a games library that’s still being built up, so many ports or releases are hitting a million sales quickly because of the need for new games. I think I read that fortnite already hit 2 million downloads.

It's $30 for the Founder's pack which unlocks all current and future characters (maybe other things?) and gives you access immediately. Total FTP is coming later in summer.

FYI, it's only $13 if you buy it via the Mexican eShop.
