So that was Amazon's stock of cancellations. Bestbuy seems to release a preorder once its canceled so there won't be a major restock there. I'm guessing this will end up being pretty hard to find. Gamestop still hasn't released there canceled orders but I dont expect them to last more then a few hours. With the pro shortage still in effect, expect a complete sellout on release day.

I really am curious. Why are people going nuts over this CE? It’s quite expensive and doesn’t include much. Is it the whole “omg it’s rare I want to scalp this on eBay!!11one” nonsense?

Probably the fact its an already well known and loved character, for a game/series that is already getting rave reviews and looks amazing.

Just the fact its Spiderman alone means its probably gonna sell way better than some generic new action or RPG character statue

Will you please stop with this already? You scour the thread looking for any hint of flippers, it's insanity, you obsess about this way too much dude. There are flippers in this world, there are always going to be in every walk of life and with any type of item. From video games to sports memorabilia to cars to homes. Hell, there's a damn TV series about a couple flipping homes for profit. Just take solace in the fact this will always exist and there's nothing you can do about it, so outrage is basically pointless. And even if people don't brag about it or post about it on here, I guarantee you there are silent members or guests who browse the forums looking for scalping opportunities. It is what it is, just let it go and stop being so obsessed with it already.

I get why someone would be confused as to why this CE is so desirable. I am now wondering if the lack of an official statue reveal is less due to it being a spoiler and more of it being pretty crappy looking. After seeing it, there is no way I'm keeping the CE. The "fake" statue used in the promotional pics looks better than what they came up with.

 
Today I gave up and finished ordering Spiderman CE on Amazon México for 230 USD (total including TAX and shipping) can't deal with BBY and the broken system, I tried like crazy to get an order in from the app and website see it on stock multiple times but no success..

Your loss, statue isn't the best I've seen but is still pretty good looking. Throw in the limited amount of these and the great reviews that came out today, this CE will be one keep and cherish.

My loss? I'm not losing anything. Those great reviews weren't for the CE - they were for the game. I'm still getting the game along with the full art book in place of that mini sampler that comes with the CE. The limited nature (and we'll see what happens this week) isn't going to make the contents any better. It's great that some can like it, but I was hoping this wasn't going to be another cheap looking video game statue since Gentle Giant was behind it. I don't know what materials they used, but the design looks pretty poor in those first pics. Maybe it will look better in-hand.

 
I'm Pre-Ordered for the Console, and I can't wait.  That red is Amazing!  I was waiting to upgrade to the pro anyway, so it's perfect. 

But that controller looks like a Tiger Electronics game from the 90's...awesome!

I asked legitimately because I am considering buying it. I did some research on the CE and have been following the thread, particularly where members are saying "its in my cart and I'm mashing checkout, go go go!". The hype machine is real with this, and I've been waiting to see the reviews to see if it's truly a good game or just massive marketing influencing the game everywhere.

I've been collecting games for more than 20 years, and I am very big on getting CEs and steelbooks. I admit the hype I keep seeing has me looking into getting this CE, which is why I posted here asking if it's actually 'rare' or just a scalpers paradise. No one can deny rarity at times is a huge factor for buying a limited edition.

Looking into the CE, there's a statue, steelbook, and mini art book. Sekiro CE has all of that and is almost half the price. Again, I am considering getting this, though I am having a hard time seeing the value within it at $150 (not including GCU), and at this time the 'rarity' of it is the only thing pushing me to get it right now.

Yeah I'm really irritated with these companies that can't provide release day shipping for their big titles like this. I ordered this CE many months ago.

Most of the time I don't really care because it's a game I wasn't planning on playing immediately. But DQ11 is special and people have been dying to play it.

Mine's not getting here till Thursday. I was hoping the est date would be wrong, and it would update to a sooner date. Even though the date has stayed as the 6th, I still ran out to the mail today hoping it was magically there. This is my most anticipated game in a long time.

 
Got my DQXI CE today. Game comes separate from the contents. Keychain is separate too. It was scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but I went and picked it up today because it arrived at my local post office. At the rate packages have been getting delivered to the wrong address with me lately, I figured I'd secure it now.

I was just able to place a order for the collectors edition. It's the destiny 2 free copy making it not go through. Once I removed that, I was able to place my order. When it's in your cart, remove that and wait. When you see shipping available, you should be able to get through. People are canceling, just got to keep watching.

I think that Destiny 2 is going to end up being a PITA for some people. Returns/price matches are going to be an issue for those that need to go down that route for some reason. They'll ship Destiny 2 right away, too - change your mind about any of these pre-orders and I imagine they will charge people for Destiny 2.

Yep, says it holds a 50 value too. They will deduct that from a return/cancellation if you dont return it. Best thing to do is to remove it from your cart.

Weird, when I ordered my Dark Souls Trilogy it wouldn't let me get Destiny 2 shipped. Pickup only. I looked everywhere. So I just removed it from the order because I worried that if I never picked up Destiny 2 this week(which I won't because it's a busy week and my local BB is kinda far) then they'd cancel my pre-order as well. Just didn't wanna have to worry about it, so I just removed it entirely from the order.

Mine was supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but I got an email to 6 tonight saying it was delivered by the post office. No package... and the mail came around 2 today not 6.
 
Anyone have their spiderman ce from best buy ship yet? Mine still says the same thing since I preordered. Status is "pre-ordered" "we'll let you know when it ships"...

Uggh, its one of those where the game is not packaged in with all the stuff? It probably irks me more than it should but instead of an actual CE of a game held together by a collectible box, I just paid a super premium for a standard edition of the game plus a super expensive bunch of collectibles for the game. Probably would have been better to just buy the standard edition at Best Buy with GCU and buy all the collectible shit when Square Enix eventually sells them separate and in one of their sales where they are 75% off a couple years from now. Didn't realize Square Enix was doing these "types" of CEs.

The box with the contents is actually quite small too. Well smaller than I expected. I'd say it's maybe close to the same size as the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 CE box, maybe a little smaller actually.
