Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

It was cold last night.

Also, in terms of rarity, quality, and value...this is near the top of the $.03 list.
ive picked it up on the gamestop 4 for $20 a couple times. of course that wasn't a brand new copy. but you have a much better chance of picking it up that way than this.

Found a Skylanders Imaginators starter set for Switch for only $5. Mom n'Pop store gave me $15 for it since its the only one that actually sells for anything on Amazon.

I seen a bunch of games thrown on the bottom glass shelves with the yellow clearance stickers on them. They aren't that great of prices but Resident Evil collection (1 and 0) is $15, a store by me only had 1. I tried to get it, but had a lot going on at the checkout and forgot about it (the guy sent it up there ), went back and it was still there. I was going to get it but then I spotted an NES classic in a different glass shelf and it was the only one, I had to get that since it's the first one I've ever seen in store lol. So I didn't want to spend that much money so only got the NES and not RE Collection :( Maybe I can hope for a drop to $10 :)

Anyway it sucks trying to look at these games on the bottom and only the spines but is there any other good games out there anyone seen?

What does a Zima taste like anyway? At first I thought you guys were talking about a game, but I just kinda skimmed it. What was the point in bringing it back it was already beyond pointless lol

They take low quality beer, use charcoal filters to remove the original flavor, then add lemon, lime, and sugar. So yeah, it's like Sprite, but with the distinct tang of alcohol. I wish the citrus flavors were stronger and the alcohol more subtle, but eh, whaddaya gonna do.

That sounds terrible.

Try telling a 23 year old me that.

But seriously, it wasn't fantastic. Coors basically found a way to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse, turning beer that wasn't good enough to be sold as beer into a trendy alcoholic beverage for people who don't normally like beer. It was fun, it was novel, it didn't taste much like beer, and I was a huge mark for it. However, wine coolers have improved so much in the twenty years since that it's really hard to go back in my jaded forties.

We couldn't be drinking buddies, I only enjoy porters and stouts. The rest I'd rather drink straight these days. I used to be stupid and shotgun 22 oz cans of malt liquor at parties and ruin my throat with the carbonation. That pretty much turned me off to all mixed drinks.

Still full price near me but I'll watch our for this. I use it all the time for my allergies as well!
I'd make an alert, this morning the store I went to was the only store on the entire brickseek list showing the price at $11, now there are four, more may update as the day goes on

Anyone want over thirty Madison from FTWD figures for $10 bucks a pop???

I have no idea how my store wound up with that many. Who would even want FTWD figures?

these are $45 everywhere around me, but i just wonder if ill be able to find them, 3 in stock in one store, 6 at the 2nd closest store
I went to 2 stores earlier and both had shelf space for them, showed In Stock, but the calculators were not on the shelves where the sku tags were, and weren't in the clearance aisle, so who knows, maybe they all got pulled into a cage somewhere

Similar for me. Closest store showed seven blue and six red in stock, but nothing on the shelves. Guy checked the back and said he couldn’t find any.

From Wario, I checked national list on BS, for some reason every store in North Carolina has this mispriced and a single SC store

Damn that's a nice deal for anyone who can get in on it. If I didn't have the other AC games physical I'd be tempted to ask a fellow CAG to help me out haha.

I am such a sucker for physical games that I would pass on this deal all day over buying the physical Gold Edition with GCU while I still have it.

I'll check out the AC today and see if I can help some CAGs out.

Edit: Looks like the stores around here pulled them all.

I don't believe it was ever a thing. The MSRP showed as $99 on brickseek with the linked SK, not $109 as it should be.
The tags were out, and they said $59.xx but the cards were taken down at the stores I went to and they flipped the price tags backwards.

Though most stores deleted these games from their system, some stores still have and are still updating we went titles. I wouldn't go searching for them but if you're in a store look out for them (search the list in this thread).

The Walmart store in Chino, CA had these surprises:

Playstation VR Headset with VR Worlds on clearance at $250

Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gold Edition Card for $59.96

(According to Brickseek the actual card is supposed to be priced at $99.88, but for some reason, it's labeled as a generic card and was priced accordingly). I scanned the barcode with my Walmart app and it indeed came up for $59.96 in store. So I recommend not trusting brickseek on this one because this seems like a miscommunication in the kind of pricing data BS is receiving and what the stores are receiving.

HP Omen 27 Monitor for $497

Sony SRS-X5 Bluetooth Speaker for $80

Edit: After further investigating it seems the problem at the store I went to was that the electronics employee had placed a stack of AC Odyssey GE cards on the hook and forgot to change the label. The label was for 12 months of PSN not for the game. I'm guessing this was a one time thing because I expect that by tomorrow they'll have fixed it.

The downside is that you're an employee at Walmart.
